Why Picking Josh Allen Would Be Disasterous
ALF replied to Domdab99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the Bills can't trade up Allen at #12 maybe if we hire a good QB coach. -
Whatever it takes to move up this draft after not taking a QB at 10 in 2017. If no team will trade down it's on to plan B. It might take 2 more trade ups in this draft to get a top QB , expensive but worth the gamble.

Global warming err Climate change HOAX
ALF replied to Very wide right's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Gulf Stream system at its weakest in 1,600 years, study shows It's a trend which could exacerbate the effects of climate change, such as rising sea levels on the US East Coast and disrupted weather patterns across North America, Europe and north Africa, including the increase in frequency of extreme weather events, like flooding, drought and winter storms. The system, the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC), brings warm, salty water north from the Gulf of Mexico to the North Atlantic -- the Gulf Stream -- where it releases its heat atmospherically before sinking to the depths of the ocean, and traveling south to the Antarctic, where it starts its journey again. The study's findings "suggest that the AMOC has weakened over the past 150 years by approximately 15 to 20 percent" says Thornalley. The AMOC is a crucial part of the global system of heat transfer throughout the earth's oceans -- the so-called Global Ocean Conveyor Belt. Warming at the end of the Little Ice Age, which occurred around 150 years ago, and recent climate change, have been attributed to the disruption of the AMOC system. The Little Ice Age was "a centuries-long cold period that lasted until about 1850," according to Delia Oppo, a co-author of the study. The study found that periods of global warming, resulting in meltwater from Arctic sea ice, glaciers and ice sheets, disrupt the system with an influx of fresh water. https://www.cnn.com/2018/04/12/world/gulf-stream-global-ocean-conveyor-belt-study-intl/index.html -
Donald J. TrumpVerified account @realDonaldTrump 1h1 hour ago More Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!” You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it! Will find out how good Russian air defense is I guess.

Richie Incognito Retires Via Twitter - Now Confirmed

I feel bad for Richie and Wood if they both have to repay their bonus. If they are severely injured just don't do that. -

Hope he is just relieved to be retired and can work on getting healthy. He was great for the last 3 years here , I like the guy and wish him well. -
Beane Bad Player Relations ?

Beane was not the GM in Carolina , he has the power here. -
Beane Bad Player Relations ?
ALF replied to Jamie Muellers Ghost's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Beane is playing hard ball , reducing Richie's salary while he was still deserving (unless he knew of a health problem). Not yet letting Wood retire , I would guess to recoup bonus due for 2018 and 19. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/eric-wood-5637/ -
Having a pocket QB behind the present OL is risky until it jells. I would not even play a high drafted rookie QB until the OL is working . https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-ranking-all-32-offensive-lines-from-the-2017-nfl-season A poor OL will make a good QB like Luck or Eli look bad or get injured. A scrambling QB like Lamar or Taylor would have a better chance.

Castillo has to get rid of his complex outside zone blocking and use the system that worked well here with Kromer. Miller was progressing at RG in Kromer's scheme. The way the OL looked against the Chargers was a disaster. Time to get younger was just sped up . Need the right coaching to fit the players strengths.
-
Losing Glenn , Richie , Wood but keeping Castillo is not good. Hope Groy can be ok at LG and Bodine at C. Try to trade up for a QB with 3 first rd picks and maybe more in 2019 if needed. The 2s and 3s this draft are really needed now to fill gaps. Whichever QB they draft would have to sit for at least 1 year till the OL can prove itself.

The pay cut for a key player has me very confused. Richie has been great here , hate to see him leave unless his health is the issue. -
[Misleading Title]BILLS WILL TRADE BOTH #1 PICKS - -
ALF replied to Punt75's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the Bills are not able to trade up for a top 3 QB , a very good player will be there at 12 . The Bills have enough 2nd and 3rd picks to make a difference. I just hope Allen is drafted in the first 3 picks to give the Bills a shot at #4 if the Giants take a QB at #2. -
Best bar in Buffalo to watch the draft
ALF replied to Seanbillsfan2206's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Excellent choice , the Santora's on Transit even more awesome Such a critical draft will likely be very crowded like 716 , a plan B just in case for rd 1 -
Would make no sense for Assad to use chemical weapons when he has already won the war. I would not be surprised if this is a false flag . https://www.google.com/search?q=just+as+I+want+out+they+pull+me+back+in&oq=just+as+I+want+out+they+pull+me+back+in&aqs=chrome..69i57j0.25223j1j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Santora's near Red Roof Inn on Millersport Hwy sounds good to me https://www.google.com/maps/place/Red+Roof+Plus%2B+University+at+Buffalo+-+Amherst/@42.9888707,-78.7917779,16.5z/data=!4m23!1m15!4m14!1m6!1m2!1s0x89d373b51ceb586b:0x2e7ade131e860434!2sBuffalo+Marriott+Niagara!2m2!1d-78.7912743!2d42.9883404!1m6!1m2!1s0x89d373a5640414dd:0xfc12e224eb2ad608!2smarriott+amherst+ny!2m2!1d-78.781922!2d42.979654!3m6!1s0x89d373b535c08279:0x8aa6175811eaf88e!5m1!1s2018-04-26!8m2!3d42.9898145!4d-78.7931641 -
Predictions: Buffalo Bills 2019 record
ALF replied to dollars 2 donuts's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All depends on the QB drafted and hiring a good QB coach. The new scouting staff and Beane have to be right with their picks and trades.
