here is my own take. half my life I lived in the buffalo suburbs, the other have I have lived elsewhere but still have family and friends there. my area is the north side...tonawanda s and Amherst and Niagara Falls area. in the buffalo area you don’t have national pizza chains. Every neighborhood has their own. It’s located at the corner Orin a small shopping center on a main road in their neighborhood. i grew up in the zip code in my profile which is the city of tonawanda. There is a small local bar restaurant called squires. It has a small dinner plate of beef on weck and a small order of chicken wings of about 6 along with some fries. Wallys is a sub place created by a highschool classmate of mine. Franco’s pizza has good pizza and Johns pizza and subs on Niagara Falls blvd also is a good place. unfortunately you are going in winter. In May-September the water front city park is a good place. Besides the place I mentioned there are a few other local restaurants you can eat outside and they also have ice cream stands as part of them. for chicken wings duffs and anchor bar are the two big ones fir wings. Many places have decent wings. Chicken fingers are also another option. Instead of wings it’s the same sauce but on chicken tenders. unlike other cities, in buffalo you have one stop shops. It’s not just pizza at some places, then also do subs, calzones, French fries, and other things. Teds is the place for hot dogs or italian sausage dogs. Anderson’s is a place to get a beef on weck . On Niagara Falls blvd there is a location where they are right next to each other. when I go back to town I will try to get pizza and wings, teds, and beef on weck. Where I live now in metro DC I have wegmans locally so I can get weck rolls at the local store. another thing I like that is unique to the area is loganberry drink. The berries are grown in Pacific NW but it became popular years ago where it was sold at crystal beach. Places like Teds, Anderson’s have these as part of its drink menu and you can buy cans in 12 pack at stores. also...come back and visit in the summer.

10 teams get five primetime games -- Bills not one of them
djp14150 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
based on their opponents, the only game not in is a Miami game and Indy game. Tampa is a 425 game that could be the only 425 game that week. Carolina game is designated as a possible Saturday game. their schedule was road opponent heavy in these matchups. this is a non issue -
1 steelers 2 3 5 at KC snf 6 at Ten mnf 7 bye 8 9 10 at jets 11 12 at saints thxgvg 13 patricheats mnf 14 15 16 at cheats 17 18 jets

Flipped last year. Titans first then chiefs on Thursday.

interleague games are important to Fox and cbs respectfully. Brady and cowboys games are the ones cbs wants to keep. Fox want to hold onto KC games they get. with nbc getting the super bowl they will want to see super bowl contenders on their network. that’s the other thing...IIRC L?a stadium hosts super bowl in 2022 on nbc. It’s natural to kick off the season from there.
-
you also have new QBs in new markets.
-
cbs fought to have afc east at Bradyville it’s likely bills-bos cbs mia-Bucs mnf Mia-saints cbs buf-saints MNF ( nbc during World Series weekend)
-
If there is going to be 18 weeks in the regular season... werk 18 is dual DHs what other week is dual DH? Week 1, week 10? If there are two thrn it e runs out for 8 each solo DH on cbs and Fox

teams are given finalist schedule options to check if there could be any schedule issues they were unaware of. this happened with Buffalo in 2011 schedule where they had buffalo at home when hockey world juniors were in buffalo so there were no hotel rooms available. So they needed to change. in another season Houston was at home the same weekend the stadium space was used for a holiday event between thxgvg and Xmas. Thry flipped weeks. flipping weeks in a schedule usually occurs when 1 team has 3 straight weeks at home or on road because the scheduling algorithm limits in to two. you have a week without teams on bye. Or there was a a week at start or end where some teams bye, no bye , teams on bye. they schedule prime time games , focused 425 games, and team byes first. It’s far easier to do this than have a computer program do it. if you look at prime time games thry follow a pattern of some division rivals games, playoff rematches, super bowl of past rematches, big inter conference games, predicted 1st place teams pkaying, preficyed playoff contenders playing.

he couldn’t pin thrm inside the 10 on punts. It was lays touchback or worse. if hep,a YS in LA he has better pu t stats on yardage dam the end zone thing.

W-T-F————— the bills don’t have issues at RB.
-
You lost me ehrn you said the browns will be better than buffalo...think ago. thryfirst need to learn how to beat ravens snd Steelers when it matters in the regular season. second...They go from one of the weakest opponent schedule to a much harder one. the face afc west, Nfc north, patricheats, Arizona and Houston they are lucky if they get to 10 wins...

Beane compensatory picks...he's clever

Buffalo doesn’t have many OL u der contract in 2023. With Allen wanting more money you might go with the youth if the prove themselves. same with the older DL players likely nor back for 2022 -
it depends...are you trying to make 53 or are you looking 1-2 yrs away? if you look at the Bills they don’t have many OL contracts in 2022. There are some longer term job openings. Also with buffalo needing to pay Josh Allen they might be going with cheaper OL players vs more expensive vets.

I think it depends on roster age and who they just drafted at a particular position us the bigger driver. lime a DE might not want buffalo. Theyhave older players but they used a 2nd last yr and 1 and 2 this year on DE. Those 3 are going to get more chances and reps over the UDFA and they likely make the 53. It’s rare teams cut 1 and 2 round picks in that yr and the yr before.
