Thry have all their TOS so the pass can be anywhere. they can throw a 5 yard pass off the line snd complete but you pursue and tackle. He’s trying to do 2 6 second plays. You defend the 10-25 yard range. You try to contain the player to burn more time without losing the tackle. he’s throwing in 4 seconds. You likely aren’t going to get to him in 4 seconds

the clock on KO doesn’t start till it’s touched my receiving team. A returner can fair catch a KO at the 5 and it goes to the 25. You need a squib kick off the ground in the field. Mahomes only had 13 seconds. He can scramble around on a long play looking fir someone but the clock still is running.

i understand the intricate details of how schedule algorithms work. right now they know who teams home and road opponents are right now they are collecting scheduling conflicts such as MLB schedule where teams share stadiums or share the same lots. Some of these sre 1. Stadiums next to each other in seattle, KC, Baltimore, dallas. 2. stadiums that use same lots…Cincinnati. Pittsburgh. 3. events— houston has a Christmas shopping event a weekend between thanksgiving and mid December at facilities next to the stadium. Teams give their stadium for concerts, local and college football ( Florida-Georgia at jacksonville) or MLS teams share stadium ( Seattle). before the even run the algorithm …they set up national games schedule fir Thursday, Sunday, Monday, and certain games for 4:25. these are don first because it makes scheduling easier. If you look at historical national games scheduling there is a pattern… 1-6 divisional match ups from each division. divisional match up games within and between leagues positional matchups because of NY and LA shared stadiums…more games involving those teams will be put in Non Sunday spots. Buffalo at LA game is likely to not be on Sunday afternoon. If it’s on Sunday afternoon it fir es the chargers on road on FOX if not on bye or national TV. playoff and super bowl rematches. the idea KC defense is “ improved” is utter BS. their stud defense is at the same level as NEw England… they did well against the poor teams but didn’t do much against good teams. they get a packers team at home with Rodgers out they get the Cowboys at home with three receivers/ backs out. they barely survive giants and both Broncos games. The differences in the Broncos games can be attributed to denver turnovers/play calling problems. they lose to cincinati and got lucky against the chargers with questionable chargers defense plays.
