im curious one the amount of overlap in the McD/Beane firing and Trading Allen for picks

If you look at a calendar…. 91 days for sept- nov—13 weeks 62 for Dec/Jan— 9 weeks they should have 18 g , 2 byes snd 4 weeks of playoffs…division winners get byes You add in 2 weekend in august for 20+4=24. thrn off wek and duperboel the year Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday…the SB does not occur on that day. They start earlier or its the SB bye week

more of …Beane needs to be fired…. it takes 2 to tango…but thr late 4th and the first 5 th can get you into the top 10 picks in the 4th throw another 5 th it can get you high. what I don’t know in the top 5 who is rebuilding but doesn’t have many picks left. thry can also trade a 5 th this yr for a 5 th next year

They can trade up to 80-85.

Chiefs looking to trade up…they are talking to like 6 teams on trading up and down. teams don’t discuss who you are picking its just negotiating value of the pick. You got one team looking to move down, another to move up. buffalo in their scouting seemed to have only 25 or so 1st round graded players.no 1st round graded players left so thry traded down. Thry traded down again to 2nd round. they did not trade down again because they likely asked for a 3rd or top round of thr 4th in a trade and teams weren’t doing it.

Mentioned Commish would like an 18 game schedule….herr is how I see it. 2 preseason games 18 games in 20 weeks 4 playoff toundd Super Bowl after thr regular season therr would be a “ play-in”/ wild card round week 1 7-10, 8-9 ( neutral site? ) week 2 winners, top 2 WC, Div winners week 3 conf semis week 4 conf championships week 5 bye week 6 Super Bowl Last 2 weeks of august excluding 31st 13 weeks Sept- Nov/ aug 31-nov 29 add up to 7x13=91= 30+31+30 9 weeks= Dec+Jan+Feb 1 / Nov 30-Dec-Jan =31+31+1=63=final 5 weeks+ first 4 weeks of playoffs) bye week SB 2+13+5=20 reg weeks. theyear valentines is a Sunday, they play 1st or 3rd Sunday. bye weeks will be more concentrated like 4 weeks for all teams in mid sep-mid oct and mid nov-early dec. You don’t do thst. it’s common for teams to trade next years 1st for a high 2nd round pick next year they should have their 1st and 2 2nds

My two cents….. the problem in trying to move up high is test you are going to have to match QB pricing for picks becsuse other teams are looking to trade up for QB. There could be 6 QBs drafted in top half of the draft it seems like the top 3 are also in the top of the draft then others may be in 25-40 range. buffalo could trade up a few spots to get the player they want. I don’t see the fantasy trade up occuring.

And if buffalo did drsft him and he sucked or had a medical condition IRed people would call Beane an idiot in drafting

in current NFL you can’t pay full price for WB and pay full price on a #1 receiver and pay full price for another #1 and expect to be good. Paying 2 WR top 20 money snd a QB top 10 money will kill you.
