  1. An intelligent response, thank you
  2. The real head scratcher here is that the Bills passed on a strong armed QB with accuracy and footwork issues whose AMAZING passing numbers made you wonder if it would translate to the NFL... and INSTEAD 1 year later took a strong armed QB with accuracy and footwork issues who had terrible passing stats. Look at Mahomes' college stats vs Allen's and it's clear who they should have bet on if they were going to try and develop someone with a big arm. Mahomes had as many passing yards as Allen's senior season in 3 games!
  3. Browns tanked, got a bunch of good players and the top QB in the draft, had a ton of cap space and got some great veterans, and now they are a top team in the AFC. On the other hand, during that same time period the Bills decided it was smart to try and win with a bad roster full of old dudes, got some mediocre players in the draft, got some mediocre veterans, and a mediocre/bad QB (but hey he can run). Browns will go 10-6 and be AFC North contenders and a playoff team and the Bills will be watching the playoffs on TV like always
  4. They need to use this. No doubt about it.
  5. A rookie pocket QB that didn't have a pocket to throw in. The results were not surprising. He will be better off long term at any of these locations. A year behind Eli or better yet a couple behind Brady and I think he can still be a very good QB in this league. He was not anticipating receivers and was late on a lot of throws, which is something he absolutely did not do in college, so I think there is more to the story like he lost confidence and was second guessing himself. Also being traded does not mean he's not good. In fact it means that he's a very good value option for teams and just because he isn't the best fit for a new coach with the #1 pick doesn't mean he's not going to flourish elsewhere. If Kingsbury thinks Murray is the best QB to run his offense then he would be an idiot not to draft him knowing that Rosen will likely get them an additional high draft pick. If Kingsbury's offense doesn't work then it's very unlikely he would get another shot in the NFL. This is a very important experiment for the league to see if a college air raid offense can succeed at the next level.
  6. Anyone hear John Murphy and Chris Brown go nuts on callers a few weeks ago for even suggesting the trade didn't happen because AB didn't want to play here? Can wait to see how they spin this. Probably won't even mention it. Cowards
  7. Good morning: "Breaking News! Antonio Brown is going to Buffalo" - Ian Rapoport "No I'm not" - AB84 "Breaking News: Antonio Brown not going to Bills" - Adam Schefter Back to sleep...
  8. It looks like the "Definitely's" have spoken. In 2nd place, the "Yes" voters. But it's clear that everyone agrees that there are better QB's out there!
  9. And we have 3 duds. The Bills will be sitting out one of the best off-season QB markets in recent memory. Better Starters: 1. Foles 2. Tannehill 3. Flacco 4. Bridgewater Could be available: 1. Daulton 2. Eli Better backups: 1. Bradford 2. Bortles 3. Tyrod 4. Fitz Not interested in the excuses about offensive line play or receiver depth or lack of run game. Our QBs were among the worst in the league and to not address it with so many quality players available is a mistake.

  11. Edmunds is not a MLB. But even so he shouldn't be such a wimp when he's twice as big as these RBs. Step up and meet them in the hole and drive them back. What is he so scared of? If I was that big I would wreck people just because I could
  12. Again, it's not about Rosen. I was just as much of a Mayfield fan as Rosen. It's about Allen not being worth all of those picks. Literally the worst QB in the NFL and you guys are acting like he has arrived because he can scramble. Not sure how he is better than Tyrod. Give me Tyrod and use the pick on Ridley and another top pick on OL instead of trading it away to move up for a project QB. Also this thread is a reflection of America as a whole right now. If someone disagrees with your opinion you are quick to lash out. Pretty classy. If you want me to go away then stop quoting me and let the thread die. I haven't posted in this forum unprovoked since April. If you can't stand the fact that someone has a different opinion then why keep the discussion going?
  13. Allen is the worst or 2nd worst QB in the NFL depending on what data you are going by. I was absolutely right. They shouldn't have drafted him. If they wanted a running QB who can't consistently complete passes then why didn't they just keep Tyrod? Or for similar stats then just get Tebow for the league minimum.
  14. They got beat by our defense and missed extra point I wouldn't be bragging about the worst or 2nd worst QB in the NFL (whatever chart you want to look at) putting up 14 points.
  15. 1. He's not benched 2. Just because Rosen is playing bad doesn't mean Allen is good. They are both bad. Quite possibly the 2 worst QBs in the entire league right now 3. My screen name isnt because I'm a Rosen fan or a fan of another team. It's because I'm NOT an Allen fan and think the Bills drafting his was a terrible move. If you want a guy that runs and can't throw for more than 200 yards then why not just keep Tyrod and use the picks on other offensive weapons?
  16. I haven't posted in this topic in months and I had 5 notifications in my email all of a sudden today. I'm certainly not bragging to anyone about how Rosen has played. He's bottom 5 worst QB in the league right now. But he's still a better passer than the guy the Bills have so I don't know why you are all on your high horse after a 14 point offensive effort. I'm just responding to folks that are feeling good about one of the worst QBs in the NFL so much so that they decided to dig up my post from October to brag
  17. I've had to deal with people bashing me all the way back when I had criticism for Trent Edwards. You think I'm going anywhere now? I represent the fans who can actually think for themselves and don't blindly follow a team which is led by different people every 3 years anyhow. Feel free to form your own opinions, I won't think of you as less of a fan. In fact I would think you more of a fan because you actually took the time to do the research and didn't just show up on Sunday and cheer for no other reason than that's your team
  18. Allen is getting yards by running around like an idiot. It's not a sustainable model for success. He will either get injured or eventually be too slow after years of abuse. I just think it's funny that fans of the NFL's lowest rated passer are making fun of the 2nd lowest rated passer or vice versa. If it makes you guys feel any better, I think Allen is a better fit for our team because he can run around and improvise behind this horrible line. Rosen will have his starters back next year and his OL will be much better. I had Rosen and Mayfield 1a and 1b. I'll take the pocket passer every time for lasting long term success
  19. Allen is literally the lowest rated passer of the starting QB's in the entire NFL. His stats are very Tebow-esque. You don't have much of a leg to stand on either. Are you really that excited for a guy that completes 50% of his passes? If the defense didn't bail them out time and time again I think you guys wouldn't be so excited about an offense that only put up 14 points
  20. He was good but certainly not the best, not even the best RB. Bruce Smith is so much more talented than anyone we have had it's not even close
  21. I don't have a problem with what he did, I think his heart is in the right place. I have a problem with a bratty kid thinking he deserves $250 sneakers and this being some great charity story. My wife grew up poor and hungry and not knowing if she would be able to eat that day and embarrassed that her mom couldn't afford school supplies. There's way more charitable opportunities in Buffalo.
  22. His heart is in the right place but I don't agree with this. This kid needed a $250 pair of sneakers? There are kids in Buffalo that don't know if they will be able to eat today. But this kid was like wahhhh give me give me and his answer is sure kid, in life you don't have to work for anything. When I was a kid I didn't have money for expensive things so I worked my butt off and got a good job and now I can buy things (but choose not to). I'd much rather read a story about how Foster went to a shelter and handed out gift cards to Wegmans. Not to mention now anytime anyone sees this guy at the mall they are going to ask for free stuff. Good luck with that. Again, his heart is in the right place but how many of you had or needed $250 sneakers when you were a kid? Dumb
  23. I think the Browns are proving it now. They have some really good pieces now after years of being bad and they are all coming into their own at the same time. Not only do I think they will be a playoff team next year but I think they could win the division
