You are still changing the narrative here. The post we disagreed with pleaded for Beane to stay where we were. All I want is for Beane to do what he thinks puts us in the best position to get the QB he considers the best prospect. I do not want him to settle, I do not want him to reach, I want him to do his job and do it right.

You are equating the two in my opinion which is wrong. You may not see any perceivable difference between Rosen and Rudolph, but you better believe Beane does. If Beane wants Rosen or Darnold, he doesn't think the alternative is "smoking hot" or else he would pick them instead. He could potentially be more interested in Rudolph and that's fine, but the scenario was to simply pick whoever was left over meaning you don't get any choice, she may not be "smoking hot", she may not be someone you even find intriguing or attractive, you are picking her solely because she's a girl which is the absolute wrong way to pick a QB. Edit: The most projected trade was #12, #22, 2nd, 3rd, and 2019 1st BTW. The McCoy / Peterman / draft picks rumor isn't the consensus of what it would take to move up. So yes we would have our #2 this year, but even if we didn't the point remains, we still have a ton of picks and aren't mortgaging much of anything.

Doesn't matter if a QB falls, it should be the QB Beane wants. I would hope the 6 top QBs in this draft are not considered interchangeable.

I'd say his job definitely depends on getting this right. 8-8 and 9-7 won't cut it, and I don't think we get past that consistently without an above average QB. Whatever he does, he has to get this right. Or at least have a quick plan B that gets it done.

They can make fun all they want. We are enjoying meaningful draft speculation. Some of us aren't beat down so bad that we can't enjoy some speculation.

Not saying the 3 way trade is happening, but the fact that his source would indicate anything about the Brown's draft strategy this close to the draft means his source probably knows nothing.

I think that is a little light for the Browns. Giving up #1 and #4 for #2 and a couple 2nds? Edit: I would swap #12 to the Browns. Giants moving back to #4 isn't worth much if they aren't taking a QB. They are still getting the guy they want bc Browns, Bills, Jets take a QB and everyone knows it.

The guy was not silently protesting when he actively spoke out against police and saying the citizens of this country oppress black people. He openly accused police and fans of being people of a low standard and that "he cannot stand up to show pride in a flag or country" that treats people in that manner. While there may be police incidents and acts of oppression, neither are widespread enough to make such accusatory and inflammatory remarks. That is why people dislike him. He grouped the entirety of the country in with murderers and racists. Not to mention this in plain view:
