  1. 7% chance is a rough estimate of every team that makes the playoffs probability of winning the super bowl (bye weeks ignored). 1 out of 14 teams is 7%. I wouldnt raise it much higher for any given team because any given sunday. The point is that it is easy to predict that the Bills wont win the super bowl and say you told us so. The odds are realistically with you. And yes, the ball landed the wrong way this season. Bad things that happened last season: Got blown out by Titans and Chiefs Almost lost to the Fitzpatrick led Dolphins Beat the 2-14 Jets 18-10 (6 field goals) Almost lost a 25 point lead to the Rams Almost lost to the Cam Newton led Patriots if it weren't for a last minute fumble Lost to a improbable hail mary pass from the cardinals and Murray. Seems pretty easy to see a couple of those bouncing the other way last season and giving us a few more losses. Could also see a few things bouncing the right way this season and giving us a few more wins. Most people agree this buffalo team is one of the most complete teams and there is a subset of you that want to tear it all down (can you believe the McDermott and Beane have to go threads?). The fanbase just cant handle anything less flawless though. And yes we showed a lot of flaws over the course of 6 losses. But we only have 1 blow out. But so did the: Packers getting blown out by the Saints Patriots losing to the Dolphins Rams getting blown out by the Cardinals/49ers Chiefs getting blown out by the Titans Titans losing to the Jets Cardinals getting blown out by the Panthers Bucs getting beat by the WFT Cowboys getting the beat down by the Broncos Amongst their close losses same as us. Do we need to execute better? Absolutely. At the end of the day though, this team can compete with the best. It is not the trash you and many others suggest (aka Diggs and Allen are the only bright spots on the team... like give me a break)
  2. Well there you have it. This guy is putting all the marbles against the 7% chance the bills win the super bowl. What a brave soul. I bet he will be back here to say he told you so as well. Every team has its problems and short comings. People like you come out in droves to say you told us so when the ball doesn't land the right way. Im sure you did last year when we were 7-3 and only beat the non playoff Jets (2x), Dolphins, Raiders, Patriots and playoff Rams (almost dropped as im sure youd mention), and Seahawks. "1 or 2 good wins out of 7" I'm sure you'd have said. We went on to beat 6 out of 6 more teams (5 non playoff teams which apparently don't count) which im sure also didnt impress you. It sucks that we have so many people who want to so quickly revert to being so petty and troll bills fans.
  3. Division winner? As far as I know the season isn't over. Is anyone under the illusion that the monday night game against the pats was a thrashing so bad we are unlikely to beat the pats in 2 weeks? You don't have to make huge leaps for the division to be up for grabs again in a big game week 16. Win Bills vs Panthers Loss Pats at Colts
  4. Rex Ryan is a douche and it proved detrimental to the locker room. So it kind of does matter.
  5. Bills won 7 by a difference of 258-75, and our 4 out of 5 losses are by a combined total of 17 points. Including the blowout Colts game its 5 for 43, and people want to argue the Bills aren't good, soft, dont have all the pieces, fire the coaches, fire the gm, QB is to blame...etc etc etc. So yeah. I am going to complain about pats fans thumping their chest on a bills board. Eff them. You want to defend someone, defend your team.
  6. That is our defense by design. Not giving up the 3.5 yards a carry, but not giving up the big plays. They failed Monday with the single td run. That is all they failed at. If you want to thump your chest about driving down and scoring 2 field goals, go for it. Our secondary isn't scared of Henry or Borne. We've faced far better WR's with far better running games and did just fine. The only exception is the colts.
  7. Because we see the play from Monday night where Moss has a clear lane to the end zone but cuts back into the defensive line. Sorry we don't have faith he takes advantage of any holes provided.
  8. Again you had 1 long run on a broken defensive play. Most of the time your running was ineffective and equated to two field goals. We aren't afraid of your run game. But sure it is more challenging than your passing game. 1st Drive 2 carries 7 yards (punt) 2nd Drive 3 carries 5 yards (punt) 3rd drive 3 carries 69 yards (td) 4th drive 7 carries 40 yards (field goal) 5th drive 3 carries 4 yards (punt) 6th drive 4 carries 25 yards (punt) 7th drive 5 carries 17 yards (punt) 8th drive 13 carry 59 yards (field goal) 9th drive 2 carries 6 yards (punt)
  9. "The Bills D played well but when they needed a stop (3rd wettest into 4th) they gave up the longest drive of the game" But the Bills D did stop them when they needed a stop and gave the Bills offense the ability to win. "Buffalo was GIFTED a TD by Harry being Harry and being to dumb get away from the punted ball. " Player in the game doing something silly (aka Brieda fumbling a handoff) resulting in the next Pats TD drive with the run by Harris. "They were gifted their FG as they got the questionable call for Personal foul for hitting him out of bounds. (Meanwhile Allen himself thought he was inbound and stretching) " I don't even think that was a free first down. He had the first down. 1st down and you are saying we may not have driven 15 more yards? Maybe, maybe not, but not any worse than the questionable non call on laying out Allen with all his weight, or last play of the game or two when Allen got hammered seconds after throwing the ball. "The Bills never forced the Pats to pass, when it got close the Pats pounded the ball down the field for a score." The pats pounded the ball down the field for a single field goal. That isn't world beater, that is actually less than ideal for your team. Harris had a good run on a single broken play otherwise. "Harris had 10 Carrie’s for 111 yards early in the 3rd when he got injured. At the point of his injury the Pats had gone for a. TD and FG. They then had to rely on a rookie to carry the load." Harris's 10 carries for 111 yards amounted to 9 points (not counting the 2pt conversion) 1st Drive 2 carries 6 yards (punt) 2nd Drive 2 carries 6 yards (punt) 3rd drive 1 carry 64 yards (td) 4th drive no runs (field goal) 5th drive 1 carry -4 yards (punt) 6th drive 2 carries 19 yards (punt) 7th drive no runs (punt) 8th drive 1 carry 22 yards (field goal) I mean thats just rewriting the narrative.
  10. Gifted what? The Pats were GIFTED a botched coverage on the Harris run. The Pats were GIFTED a fumble by Breida not caused at all by the Pats The Pats were GIFTED a dropped TD by Diggs The Pats were GIFTED a visionless Moss not scoring an easy TD run on the outside Like what even is this "gifted" nonsense. The Bills defense made the pats go 3 and out when it came down to it. The bills offense subsequently drove all the way down to the 15 yard line (into the wind) and nearly won the game. I don't take issue with losing, but ffs this wasnt a thrashing. Your team eeked it out and the ball bounced (or blew) the right way for you.
  11. ...I mean at a certain point the Chiefs were leading the AFC, the Ravens, the Bengals, the Titans, the Chargers. I mean I think the only team that hasn't been technically leading the AFC and is in the playoff picture currently is the Bills. Still more than 25% of the season to go, I expect the AFC leading team to change a few more times.
  12. So actual reasons for the reason we lost are nitpicking various plays? But critiquing Josh Allen's play is some kind of grand insight into the reason we lost and not nitpicking? If Moss has the vision to see this wide open TD run, we win. I mean Brandon freaking Bolden could get to the edge on the 2 pt conversion. Moss just doesn't have the vision.
  13. I was practically screaming this at the TV. Why the heck did he not bounce to the outside. No one was there.
  14. My god, bills fans are such douches. Maybe you didn't mean it that way, but you probably did. We take losing like someone took away our toy. Seasons over, take your ball and go home if you don't want to continue rooting for the team. Instead the forum is full of "I told ya so's" and "I just hope we can even win a game" cliches. Some people just can't wait to give up.
  15. So outclassed that BB had McD right where he wanted him...the 15 yard line nearly losing the game. So outclassed McD didn't even know he had already lost. My god, you guys are so dramatic.
  16. You guys are straight unbearable. Like seriously make me reconsider the Bills as having the best fanbase in the NFL unbearable.
  17. Its not like it came down to the 15 yard line to decide the game. They just didnt need him lol. Especially on that last drive to end it and give us no chance. Great no call on the guy first holding and then DPIing knox on the 2nd to last play though. Thats called 9 times out of 10. Great pretend injuries also to give your (OP) defense a breather.
  18. Belichick. And the national media's idea that they can just pick up another dynasty, just like that. Eff the cheaters.
  19. He is comparing full 2020 to partial 2021. This thread feels very agenda driven. Its like click bait for Bills fans that want to trash the team. Sometimes qbs don't pass the vaunted eye test, well some fans don't pass the eye test either. It almost feels like they wait in the shadows to strike the moment the team lies low. Thats not to say they don't root for the Bills and aren't real fans, but that doesn't mean they don't extract some pleasure on social media when they trash them.
  20. Belichick has a horseshoe up his butt in terms of scheduling. Just off the top of my head, plays the falcons without ridley (ok no big deal), then onto the titans with no derrick henry, and next week us likely without tre white. Like come on.
  21. why even make a thread? why not just google?
  22. Anyone have a way to watch out of state? Visiting my brother and apparently Hulu Live knows im down here, so we've got bears vs ravens 🤮
  23. Bills are in year 4 of their build. Patriots are in year 1. I don't see how you can say you know who the Pats are, but dont know who the Bills are. The Bills are the team that made the playoffs 3 out of the last 4 years and the AFC Championship game last year. It just makes no sense to narrow your focus to the first 9 games of 2021 and pretend you dont know who the Bills are. Yes, they could potentially lose some of their upcoming games. Every team can. We know who they are though. I also don't understand this obsession with "teams over .500". The Chiefs are 2-2 when we played them. A win against them (giving them a less than .500 record at 2-3), means we haven't beaten a .500 team. But a loss to them (giving them a more than .500 record 3-2) means we cant beat a over .500 team? How does that make sense to you?
  24. we know who the pats are. They are the team that lost to the bucs, saints, and cowboys, and pulled out a 3-point win against the chargers. The bills lost to the steelers and didn't pull off a 3 point game against the titans, but we throttled every one of our other opponents (except the jags). I agree, it says more about the pats than it does about the Bills - the pats lost the meat of their schedule. The Bills have not.
  25. Thats an odd way to look at the facts. Let me try. 64% completion percentage 1814 yards 11 tds 5 ints 87.1 QBR Tua Tagovailoa is a better QB than Allen through 10 games. I get the "let's hope Mac Jones gets worse", but its just a silly arbitrary argument to say look out for Mac Jones. Time will tell.
