I think McDermott really took it to heart that he was "outcoached" and "beat down" by Belichick the first time. He openly dismissed it as a masterful gameplan, and proved it in the subsequent next two games.

We do need a dome. If we beat the pats (which we clearly should have) the first time, Kansas City is coming here. Instead we get to go to Kansas City (providing there is no upset). All because the magic weather makes our players better? Don't buy it.

Yeah, cause our roster is made up of people used to the cold, not players from all over the country. Two times I can think of in the last two years weather has directly impacted Bills post season. 1st is the Chiefs game in the rain in 2020. Win the first chiefs game and the AFC Championship game is in Buffalo. 2nd time is Pats game in the wind in 2021. Win the first Pats game and who knows what the post season gives but if we win and move on we go TO the chiefs again more than likely. There are probably more. I never think "man Allen and team would be so much better here with some wind and snow"

I don't know why people can't keep their hands off of other peoples crap. The gall to just sit there rummaging through someone else's stuff. I once had a storage unit broken into and all of my Dad's old fishing stuff stolen. Passed away long before that so it was memorable stuff but to this day it infuriates me picturing some douche just rummaging through all of my boxes. I hope they are still stuck having to watch the tube tv they stole.

I don't understand. If they aren't planning to be "one and done", why wouldn't they make roster moves that benefit a deeper playoff run? The only alternative is not signing him because they are planning to be eliminated which doesn't make sense. What does make sense is that you consistently argue that the Bills won't live up to expectations. I'm sure you'll be right eventually if you keep saying it enough. Then you'll get your "told you so, I knew all along" moment that you so crave.

That is a fantastic way to put it. They think of it as straightforward "well just win then and we will be happy" and sure thats the goal. Win. But at the end of the day, the only thing that guarantees a shot at a super bowl is a sustained post season presence which McDermott achieves. Or you could just sell your soul like Belichick and Brady did.

At least they recognize "the empire isn't back" and they are still in rebuild mode. Those memes and gifs of "the empire being back" after our monday night loss was absurd. 90% of their fans were certain they won the division already. That reminds me, did we ever get a clip of those news anchors eating crow?

Points scored against Tenn - 31 TB - 27 KC - 38 NE - 33 I mean the only time we scored under 25 points was: Jaguars Colts Pats (Windy game) Steelers We should be the #1 seed for sure, but the idea that we cant score points against good teams is false.

He should have still caught it, but something looked off with that snap, I thought we were gonna get a false start the way the line moved on that snap. Something was botched there.

One week at a time. The chiefs have to play (and win) their game too, but they have the Roethlisberger handicap so you may be right. For now, let's get this done and win at home like we should've done the first time.

I hate that the chiefs get a cake matchup with the steelers. Additionally the route to the super bowl goes through them as well for us. Oh well. Gotta beat the best to be the champs.

We were never up 2 scores for that jets game. In fact we were losing until a FG with 1:37 left in the 3rd quarter making it 12-10. Two more field goals in the 4th quarter and a shut down defense allowed us to come up with a win 18-10. This is very comparable to the crappy Jaguars game this year. The Raiders game we were winning 23 to 16 at the start of the 4th quarter. I would argue that this is much like the Titans game this year. Instead of driving down and putting us up two scores against the titans, we punted. This resulted in the Titans driving back down and scoring a TD putting them up by 3. In the Raiders game, we drove down and scored and put the raiders in desperation mode. The Dolphins game we were only up by 2 scores at 3:09 left in the 4th quarter (46 yard td pass to John Brown). Had we punted, it could have gone much the way of the Titans, Steelers, etc.

This year we lost 5 one possession games and were blown out once. Last year we won 5 one possession games and lost one. I don't think it is about not having what it takes to win those games. Sometimes the ball just won't bounce our way.

Its easier for them to tear it all down in hopes for some superstar team in their head than support the team in a loss and I hate it.

I track playoff seeding on a shelf week after week and i dont think ive ever pulled the Bills off of the shelf for not being in the playoffs this year (maybe week 1??). So this nonsense is just taking a jab at the bills. Has to be a fish fan.

The bomb to Diggs was a near catch if Diggs catches it though wasn't it? On 1st down, why not? Not a crazy throw (for Allen anyway)

I think the defense and Allen pulled us out. Defense didn't allow another point to be scored by the Falcons after the half which helped out. Although we have Matt Ryan to partially thank for that. Anyone watching the game knew Allen wasn't the real problem on the field. Illegal contact or holding on Beasley was a direct cause of one INT. 2 other tipped balls. Its a drag on his stats sure, but he got the job done.
