  1. you see what happens to guys once they leave NE. these players know that too. if you're an NE RB/WR, you have no leverage. take what you can get because they can plug anyone into that RB/WR spot successfully. The Pats*** put 21 players on IR and it didn't matter. They were still a tipped pass from the Super Bowl. RB Dion Lewis RB LeGarrette Blount RB Tyler Gaffney FB James Develin WR Aaron Dobson WR Brian Tyms WR Brandon Gibson WR Josh Boyce TE A.J. Derby OT Nate Solder OL Ryan Wendell OL Kevin Hughes DE Trey Flowers DE Rufus Johnson DT Dominique Easley DT Chris Jones LB Jerod Mayo LB Dane Fletcher LB Eric Martin CB Tarell Brown CB Darryl Roberts
  2. that really is incredible. i guess i never thought about it. but really they are kind of proof that winning isn't that hard. it's much harder to get all of the pieces together and string the important wins to take a championship. but to win in general? they've kind of perfected that.
  3. But as Ricky Bobby's dad said "if you aren't first your last", so they really are going for the gusto, even it failed. I think it should be mentioned, he says later in the movie he was drunk when he said that. So, that marries well with your logic.
  4. I'm not the biggest Rex fan but the Jags and Eagles game were lost by us not won by our opponent. This could've been a 9-7/10-6 team. Them what are we saying about Rex?
  5. This should be the Buffalo Bills motto moving forward.
  6. texans are in the playoffs
  7. i know it may have been an anomaly but we had darby, karlos and miller as contributors. two of three looked fantastic.
  8. it's hard for Woods to get hit when he's already on the ground. but man did he earn that #72 NFL ranking for WRs. Huge boost for us with him playing hurt all season. what a champion.
  9. i mean, in the end, this is a job. his injury hurt us. we buffalo fans love all of these feel-good stories that have nothing to do with on-the-field production. former players complimenting our fandom, former players choosing to live in buffalo, players playing hurt, saying the Ralph is a hard, loud stadium to play in, that the Pegula's run a class organization, etc. we love all of this back-patting, and it means NOTHING. absolutely nothing. just the longest NFL playoff drought and lots of warm fuzzies to hang our hat on as we start threads titled 'what team are you rooting for in the playoffs?'
  10. why are we giving him props? you played handicapped and thus under-performed at your role? thank you!
  11. they wanted to receive. he's just backing the call to make it look like he didn't make a mistake. you can add whatever perceived narrative you'd like after that. if Rex made this call, no one would be telling this tale.
  12. put tyrod on the the broncos and he's the next big thing.
  13. did he give one to every lineman that rotated in over the course of the season?
  14. someone like, say, ted ginn jr or devin funchess or lafell or marvin jones? my point is it's the system and coaching first, and once you create that, you're able to maximize your players' potential.
  15. Woodson was on the Mike and Mike in the Morning show, and shared this insight about the Bills Super Bowl woes (via Sports by Brooks): “As much as everyone talked about how much experience the Bills had back then, they partied harder than any other team. That’s all we heard about the entire week in L.A., the (Cowboys) first Super Bowl. “They (Bills players) were out Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Couple guys got into altercations in the clubs, older, veteran guys with the Bills. “Experience doesn’t mean that much, it’s all about leadership. There’s a reason they (Bills) lost four Super Bowls. They partied harder than any other team.”
  16. it must be such a luxury to get paid millions, under deliver on your job, and then talk about your manager being over-hyped as a reason you under delivered.
  17. Why? So we can watch that pick perform well on a mismanaged team? Darby is a great pick. I can wait to watch him meander around on the team for a few years before he can go to a contender.
  18. sorry, should've qualified with /sarcasm. i thought the "!!!!1!" did it.
  19. we need a better 15-game quarterback. you need to be an all-pro out of the box!!!!!!1!!! if you're not Rodgers by your 16th game ever, gtfo!
  20. i know this is very LAMP, but i'm a die hard fan. I haven't watch the last four games. Actually enjoyed my Sunday, saw the final scores and because i was less invested, didn't really care. the nfl is fading for me. there are better things in life.
  21. Yeah let's not forget how unhinged he was the entire Pats* game. Taking two personal fouls, a holding, and being uncontrollable on the sidelines.
  22. I thought he can't play until Dallas? is that true or could he suit up this week?
  23. face it. the team was 8-8 last year. the meaningless NE game wouldn't have been won if the Pats needed it. We lost a must-win in Oakland. We lost to the Texans whom we just beat. You should be focusing on the fact that we were barely hanging on last year with 50 sacks. That's !@#$ing pitiful.
