  1. More Jets, please. that's the key to success.
  2. that right there is a guy who is mic'd up and therefore saying things he normally wouldn't to seem relateable and tenacious and likeable.
  3. as much as i'd love to see a super bowl in Buffalo, it's just not feasible. even if they build a stadium, we don't have the infrastructure to support that much influx into the city. where would you put everyone? Adam's Mark? what about the other 750,000 people?
  4. same. it's a bloated product. we watch four hours of television for 10 minutes of "action." the majority of which is incomplete passes, 1-3 yard runs, and great plays being wiped out by penalties.
  5. i'd stop watching. the season is a grind as it is. we can't even sell december home games. now we're going to try to push for jan/feb game?!
  6. he's a solid 3WR and serviceable 2WR. we always fall in love with guys that compete and have grit and underproduce.
  7. What went wrong They traded two picks to get Ragland. Concerned his team wouldn't get its inside linebacker, general manager Doug Whaley sent two fourth-round picks (one in 2017) to the Bears yeah, because we've done so well in the 4th round. Except for maybe two or three players, our fourth round has been a graveyard for the past 20 years. http://www.nfl.com/draft/history/fulldraft?teamId=0610&type=team
  8. i hate to say it, but we're going to miss Hogan a lot this year.
  9. Don't care. They win against us in all sorts of fashions and many times because of our own problems (injuries, penalties, playcalling, etc). They gladly take those wins and move on, and we will too.
  10. i love this, but part of me wishes that Bellichek didn't have five months to prepare.
  11. The title of the article is how (team) has fared in the draft. that's pretty straight forward. They can take into account that Indy drafted those key players, but what about their other 100 draft picks? also, the bottom five looks pretty accurate.
  12. low pressure and low expectations in cleveland will allow him to fly under the radar somewhat. if he can get coaches who create an offensive scheme that suits his skill set, he could have some success.
  13. living in charlotte, i kind of love this dude:
  14. is it the off-season or what.
  15. also, deadspin already proposed your option B in November: So if the NFL really cares about its on-the-field product (this is not necessarily a given), it needs to create one or two special bonus roster spots for each team that are strictly for quarterbacks under the age of 30. You have your three active gameday passers, but you also get two bonus quarterbacks to stash who are not eligible (but are paid handsomely so that the NFLPA is cool with it). Then, the NFL sets up and funds a special QB farm (not run by Trent Dilfer!) somewhere warm and awesome, and you send your little project QBs there for a couple of years to learn mechanics and memorize sample playbooks and all that ****. This can be done off-site. The Bills didn’t have to develop Taylor for the past four years. The Ravens did that job for them.
  16. You're right. Let's make some projections about top QBs in three years time: -cam newton -russell wilson -rodgers (35) -big ben (37) -bridgewater? -marcus mariota? -Jameis? -some rookie?... god this list is depressing.
  17. it's like they knew they were trading for sanchez early and released this tweet as preemptive damage control https://twitter.com/wynnde13/status/707712773627621376/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw
  18. Report: Fitzy to hit the market overthrows market, game-ending INT.
  19. darby, karlos, kiko, sammy, woods are some good recent draft examples. if you can have another draft where you get some immediate roleplayers, we can improve.
  20. "This year the road to 8-8 goes through Buffalo"
  21. we already tried grossly overpaying them.
