  2. I'm dreading this opening drive sequence on Sunday: shotgun draw to McCoy (2 yards), swing pass to McCoy 3 yards, obvious passing situation blitz, throw away, punt.
  3. Imagine drawing up a play where your QB takes a snap out of shotgun and throws a quick slant to the slot WR for 5 yards. Now imagine that you call that play and your QB hesitates, doesn't throw it, stabs into the pocket and then back out, rolls the opposite direction of his throwing hand, sprints toward the sideline while being chased by D lineman and gains a yard. Who do you blame? The O coordinator? Because I'm positive he's not drawing up half the things Tyrod was doing.
  4. My biggest fear is that they try to turn to the run to mitigate the amount Peterman throws. Let. Him. Throw.
  5. They would be laughing at the Bills for keeping Tyrod in too. No use worrying about national sportswriters' opinions, they're never right, it's not their job to be.
  6. jinxed? here's the injury report for the NFL to help you gain some perspective. http://www.espn.com/nfl/injuries
  7. aren't running QBs the exception to begin with?
  8. you're completely and utterly wrong. it's 'could have'.
  9. russell wilson and cam newton both QBs who have been to the Super Bowl might disagree.

  11. i'm not cheering, i'm standing with my arms folded waiting to talk to customer service.
  12. Peterman did look better getting the ball off, he will also throw 6 INTs a game, because he throws with reckless abandon.
  13. I don't want to go to the playoffs. The team we saw on Thurs and Sunday is our team. What's the point in making the Wild Card? To get absolutely blown out like we just did? Maybe if Peterman was in or maybe if we didn't have a gaping hole in our dline.
  14. Emotions are high. I'd say let them see the tape tonight and Monday. They may go with peterman.
  15. putting on a clinic. this feels like a NE beat down.
  16. 233 yards of rushing and five rushing TDs let up in 3 quarters.
  17. I can confidently say that Tyrod Taylor hasn't let one rush up the middle happen. Also, the line can't stop a 3-man rush. Yeah, they're about to hang 45 on us. That's unrealistic. they are mutually exclusive because they share ONE SCORE.
  18. Death by a thousand quick slants
  19. speaking of the Patriots. i just saw a really interesting stat about them. they're 30th! in defending #1 WRs. how is that possible? hasn't their strategy always been 'take out your best wr'?
  20. the problem is going to be paying for a Chrismas Eve flight $$$$$$$$$$$$$ Actually found a Jet Blue flight that gets you there direct Sunday 10:30AM (albeit not a ton of time to tailgate) and departs Christmas at 5 PM ($176). ($190 if you want to arrive Saturday instead of Sunday.)
  21. I feel like this is true, but i also feel like most of the balls he catches are at or near the line of scrimmage.
  22. Yeah, we're 20th against RBs coming out of the backfield. No bueno.
  23. A much more fun stat is football outsider's ALEX stat, which measures, on average, how many yards +/- a QB throws a pass beyond the first down line on 3rd downs.
  24. That's a solid 7-9 hour bus ride, depending on the stops.
