  1. Agreed, unless they're not picking up the offense in camp. Other than that, get them out there and let the chips fall where they may.
  2. Anybody read the joe b write-up on Allen? It’s given me some hope for the future. Lot of potential. Some work needs to be done as well.
  3. i always love the cold, snow, wind reasoning for picking a QBs. Let's look at those blustery game conditions last year: sept 10- 67* sept 17- 87* sept 24- 90* oct 1- Dome oct 8- 71* oct 22- 79* oct 29- 44* nov 2- 71* nov 12- 42* nov 19- 73* nov 26- 65* dec 3- 47* dec10- 29* (snow game!) dec17- 25* dec24- 49* dec 31- 75* playoff: 55* You don't draft a guy based on his ability to play in cold weather, when two of your games are below freezing.
  4. that's how you distinguish yourself as an analyst. have a hot take and then get headlines for saying it. no one is going to remember joe marino's comments five years from now if josh allen is good.
  5. Former Bills first-rounder EJ Manuel had a ball-placement issue, meaning the vast majority of his throws that were technically accurate enough for his receivers to make a catch were typically a little too high, too low, behind, or too out in front of their intended target. Allen will throw five strikes in a row with pinpoint accuracy, then launch a pass three yards over a wideout's head. That style is most manageable in a system with lower completion percentage expectations in the first place.
  6. I will wait and see with Allen obviously but woof: Last year, Wyoming finished 119th in passing S&P+ out of 130 teams in FBS. That will be the lowest rank ever for a quarterback chosen in the top 100 picks of the NFL draft. Yes, I know, Allen wasn’t playing with a bunch of NFL-bound talent around him. He also wasn’t facing a lot of NFL-bound talent on defense. The average opponent faced by Wyoming ranked just 83.5 in pass defense S&P+. Allen’s performance against top opponents was brutal. He threw two picks with no touchdowns against Iowa, with just 4.35 yards per attempt. He completed just 9-of-24 passes with 64 yards and a pick against Oregon. He completed 44 percent of passes with two picks and only 131 yards against Boise State
  7. how's building a deep roster without a QB worked for us the last 20 years?
  8. Time and time again, bills fans have showed that they’re not experts. I’ll trust Beane over some guy who works at blasdell pizza breaking down the all-22 tapes on Monday.
  9. The coach could just suck. He’s in the top-4 QB conversation for a reason. Guys like this “analyst” need to separate themselves with contrarian opinions from tenuous data
  10. “Black people commit more crime” are you intentionally dense?
  11. Yeah don’t mention that there are 247m whites to 37m blacks. So 210m more whites and yet police have killed 457 whites to 223 blacks. Wanna guess how many blacks would be killed if there were 247m of them?
  12. Expand your horizons. Maybe read the history of NK and their cooperation in the past to lift sanctions for financial gains. Understand that parts of the country aren’t experiencing a booming economy. Maybe the same areas that voted for Trump, because they permenantly lost industries. And strength in the Middle East is just a laughable statement you made when you ran out of things to say. Maybe see parts of the world other than western New York.
  13. Trust me: If the players didn’t protest and, instead, used their own time to bring awareness to police brutality, people would still be pissed. They already attack players who get political on their twitter accounts. This is more a problem that young black men have money and voices in America. And when that voice turns to something whites don’t like (whether on the field or not) there’s a backlash. Let’s not pretend this ends on the field.
  14. These polls are pretty close. 63% disapproval from whites vs 59%
  15. From the owners accounts they want it to stop because it’s hurting their bottom line. They don’t sympathize with the players. Also Pegula recommending a black spokesman for the media was a little callous. You want a black guy to be the face of your cause, but not his own.
  16. I’m far more tired of the media coverage than the actual players’ pre-game protest.
  17. Krafts a trump friend and said disparaging things. I think they were playing to their audience and didn’t think this would get leaked.
  18. This is actually pretty interesting. Also, Pegula shouldn’t share his nautical opinions. https://mobile.nytimes.com/2018/04/25/sports/nfl-owners-kaepernick.amp.html
  19. This mentality has us where we are today. Build up around no QB, hope one comes along.
  20. This could be bipolar disorder
  21. This is a perfect example of winning covers up a lot of sins. When you’re not winning, the ugliness creeps in. The butler story. The complaining in the locker room. This Brady story. They’re starting to look like every other team.
  22. Yeah, Dennison's not drawing up plays like okay Tyrod on this one we have Zay run a go route, we're going to need you to throw it 15 yards ahead of him and out of bounds.
