A retirement avalanche in the NFL.
quinnearlysghost88 replied to quinnearlysghost88's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My sleeper is Gronk. I know he's only 30 next year, but he's taken a lifetime of hits and has already won Super Bowls. Plus, i think he's always just wanted to party full-time and accidentally fell backwards into a dynasty. Once that pressure's gone, he can finally fulfill his lifetime dream — endless spring break. -

That's the thought that actually made me start this. The majority of the players we know today who are big names are all old. What does the NFL look like in a few years? -

Once Brady goes away, Belicheck isn't about to ruin the illusion. He's leaving. -

I sort of agree. I also couldn't believe Gates was on the field on Sunday. I had that guy on my fantasy team 11 years ago! -

I'll accept halftime guesses too. Please just denote (HT) after the individual's name. this is for science. -
I wanted to start this discussion for fun. There are a lot of players in the league who I feel like are always going to be there playing every Sunday until we die. We've grown up (old) with them, and have our own opinions and allegiances. For some reason, this year feels like it's going to be a huge tipping point for retirements (based on absolutely nothing, but lots of players just hanging on/around). Who do you think is done after this season? Hot takes and obvious picks both welcome. I'll get a few of mine out there: Brady Brees (HOT TAKE) Larry Fitzgerald

self virtue? they're fist fighting at the tolls on the thruway. it's not like this is a gray area. -
you can't ask a security guard to change the rules based on the perceived ages of the people in a given group. could you imagine that process? oh you don't have a clear bag, but most of you look around 62 to 66, we deemed that a non-threatening demographic, you're free to do whatever you want.

Every throw from Josh Allen’s 1st start
quinnearlysghost88 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, but your observation isn't taking into account that it's his first start. you're grading him as if he's a veteran. so it's disingenuous. "im very concerned at this junction" What junction? the first game he's ever played? you say that phrase when it's like year two and he's not leading WRs. you're being a contrarian.- 143 replies

he was definitely tight most of the day. you're making your debut in front of a sellout crowd at home. he still had respectable numbers, and he's probably wishing he didn't force a few of those balls, but again when your line sucks you're playing hero ball most of the game. -
