Will the Titans go after Mitch Trubisky?
quinnearlysghost88 replied to notwoz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Trubisky is actually benefiting from being a backup. Other teams are romanticizing him. If he were on every Sunday throwing poor passes and taking sacks, literally no one would want him. -
Yeah I love those road repairs and infrastructure that they pass on to the state. That never happen. And we instead pass outrageous prices for military contractors. Where can I get one of these $1,000 wrenches?

Super bowl. It’s why we watch. We’ve built a contender. It’s not getting better than this. We’re in our window now. -

Las Vegas is shooting themselves in the foot. Critical penalties, not capitalizing on the bad kickoff, Carr holding onto the ball too long to get stripsacked. -
I think we are past the point as a team where the Pats are going to surprise us. They’re much more limited than in years past. BB isn’t going to blitz us and let Josh turn huge gains with his feet, because he knows it they get behind Mac isn’t throwing them back into the game. They need a bend don’t break defense and a ton of time of possession on offense. Conservative, passing out of play action and maybe a few trick plays to spark a quick score.

What concerns me most is this invisible hand in the booth that sometimes arbitrarily decides to step in and correct a call re: overturning our first down. If that’s the best way to officiate, make the entire game officiated from the booth with on field refs serving as game managers (placing the ball, interacting with coaches, breaking up fights, calling recovered fumbles).

He really is the guy we think he is. On a very bad day for him (though two tipped picks aren’t exactly his fault) he still managed to run for 82 yards and two scores to make an impact on the games outcome. We don’t think he’s perfect, but he’s so versatile, teams have to try to shut down multiple facets of his game.

Huntley is the same player as Jackson in both rushing and passing. Jackson only has 2 multiple TD passing games this season out of 11 and 2 games over 300 yards. Huntley possesses similar running skills too. Both have 2 TDs, Huntley in 6 fewer games played. Jackson has ~500 more yards, which with 6 extra games Huntley could easily cut into. take Huntley the cheaper option. Get a hopefully big return for Jackson.

I just watched the replay. I honestly don’t even remember that. I thought he was slammed down.

It’s more established because fewer QBs run and more plays are from the pocket. If every QB ran with the frequency of Josh that wouldn’t be the case. Also, Josh has been hurt three times (elbow, concussion, foot) all running.

We are playing a really risky game exposing Josh to hits to win games. Brady and Rodgers spent their careers staying in the pocket and throwing away to live another day. Yes, it’s exciting and effective, but one rolled up ankle and our SB run is over. We need to learn to be productive with our RBs.
