What the Defense is really missing...
machine gun kelly replied to mjt328's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t listen to the noise, but I can see us not resigning Butler or Addison, we’re stuck with Star due to the contract, and let Edmunds play out his 5th year option. No early contract. As much as I like to wait for FA, I’m guessing Beane will take a CB in the 1st. The question is there a top notch 2nd round space eating 1 tech DT we could benefit complimenting Horrible Harry? These two additions would definitely benefit our defense. Offense is for a different forum. -
Too early. Need to see who we release, extend, pick up in free agency, and trade if at all. Once we have that info in late March, early April, we can dig in deep into the draft, and love all of you’re opinions once we lead up to it. I never jump the gun to the draft as it just all changes after free agency. You also get a clearer window in what Beane wants to do as he typically fills needs in FA, and likes to go after BPA met with need in the draft.

Good bud. Very long days in the OR, and working with these Epileptologists. Having a great time these last six months. Others have PM’d me and not because I don’t miss all of you. I’m just up at 4 am to try and get an hour at the gym, 12-14 hr day, pass out and do it again. just because I haven’t posted a lot lately, as Roz says,

It’s a cornerstone of his defense. He is consistent with his 4-2-5, keeps the 2-5 out there almost all the time with maybe a swap at big nickel every once in awhile. Nothing we say will ever change that tenet of his defense. He believes having 8 in a rotation with some of the guys are getting 60-65% of the snaps. It’s not a true 50/50.

619, cool topic. 1. My first vivid memory as I had vague ones of OJ, but I’ll never forget Joe Cribbs in the home opener against Miami who beat us 20 times in the 70’s. 166 yards for a 17-7 win. It was incredible. I was entering 8th grade at OMGC that’s now closed. 2. Same as question 1. I was a fan earlier, but only as a small boy and hard to remember the early grade school years other than my dad yelling at the TV with my older brother saying Ferguson should get fined for that INT or whatever. 3. Beating the Jets to win the AFCE and jumping on that goal post personally for all of 7 seconds. 4. JA17 is becoming my all time favorite, but in the day loved Talley. 5. We’ll everyone knows what MGK stands for and loved his heart, toughness and tenacity. I’d like to think I’ve emulated some of those qualities throughout my life.

JC Jackson not happy with Pats approach to him as a FA
machine gun kelly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s called working 65 hrs and realized my mistake. Too busy working with epilepsy pts Hap. My bad. I think they might consider $13, but we’d have to do some New Orleans Saints math. It would change our draft strategy. I think someone else would outbid us. he’s have to really want a ring to take $13. -
Dude, you didn’t get the memo, blue pants = loss. I’m all about the blue over white. I like the idea of the red helmet, but with one alternate, means the throwback white with the standing Buffalo is out.

I hear you house, but they use that at least their agent as their tool. it’s a business. As far as the Madden fantasy, we’re getting him, it’s not happening. Now you have examples of last year Milano was valued at $13.75 mil. And he took $11 mil. The thought of $ a value of $20.5 mil. Going down to him accepting $14 mil. from us won’t happen. id love having him, but even cutting Feliciano, D Williams, Beasely, Star (practically nothing), Butler, Sanders, and Addison still probably is not enough. Then after spending a month on him, you wouldn’t be able to add hardly anyone, and would have to hit on three starters in the draft. The idea floated of trading MT to Detroit for their 31st and a player would make it easier. -

His market cap is $21 mil. Per. we can’t afford that one even if we cut all the usuals. We’ll need a CB in the draft. -
Stuck with Star's contract ?
machine gun kelly replied to First Round Bust's topic in The Stadium Wall
Or we get lucky and we draft a 1 tech DR, and during camp he shines. We swallow the hit as Star just doesn’t need to see the field anymore. -
The only thing is Allen has been hurt from the pocket, not on runs. They may run him a little less, but he keeps defenses constantly on their toes. Now having an excellent Interior O Line will convert to a more effective running game, even if they still throw 60-65% of the time. We have steady Eddie Morse, and our tackles are sharp. We just need guards. I see abates doing well, but we need a Guard.

Diggs - First Ballot HoFer? [in personal life]
machine gun kelly replied to LeviF's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t think he’s there yet, but he’s still young. Barring injuries, he could play at an elite level for another 7 years. Then he’ll be a first ballot good jacket. -
Sounds like you have experience Ray. I know my workout buddy and best friend for 18 years was an NFL Europe guy in Germany in the 1990’s. He explained how insane Germans are on the NFL.

They’ll send the Cowgirls ther e with the whole americas team thing. they’d never do the KC buff game there. They want the KC drama.

Spotrac has Levi Wallace valued @ $9M/yr. Thoughts?
machine gun kelly replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall
We’re paying Taron Johnson $8 mil., for a nickel corner. It depends on whether we take a 1st round CB or not. If that’s where we invest in the draft, then no. If not, we’ll probably make him a competitive offer. Remember Milano was valued at $13.75 mil. at one point on Spotrac, and I think he took $11 mil. Wallace is going to test the market, but he also knows he’s on a team competing for a SB now. -
Well that’s the first time you and I agree. You’re ok for a Pats fan. I agree Gronk is retiring. That basically means in 2027 we have three of the gold jackets taken first ballot in Brady, Big Ben, and Gronk. Not even up for debate. Like any or all of them IR hate them, they are getting in immediately. I don’t think Larry Fitz was considered active this year so he’ll get in the year before and we’ll deserved.

I love some of you… but I hate this site right now
machine gun kelly replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall
Youre still upset. Ok. Maybe it’s too soon for you to see what a great team McBeane has assembled, and yes, you can make the comment how short the SB is, but if you believe in the team, you’d see they’ve done nothing but add to this team every year. yeah, we blew it in 13 seconds. I also saw a HC who coached a team for 59 minutes and 47 seconds. BTW- I know we win that game and we’re in the SB. We would beat Cincy. -

John, well said. We have our own opinions, but the true Bills fans (as not everyone is really a Bills fan, but a troll) are good guys (unisex so applies to our female Bills fanatics too). I’m hurting just like the rest of you over that ending, and the overtime talk on the national radio stuff is at least noticed. If you guys listen to NFLR, they have admitted this was one of not the best playoff game ever. They also, and these guys aren’t necessarily Bills fans are saying, to not let the best player on the field, yeah Allen have a crack at the ball in overtime is a sin. Mortal, not veniel (Catholic reference). Yes, we win that game and we’re in the SB. We would’ve beat the Bengals. Now the Rams and 49ers are a tough matchup for us because both have a good running game, but I believe we could’ve hoisted our first Lombardy. I’m not old enough for the AFL Championships, but my dad told me how special it was those years at the pile. My solace is I know in my heart we have a championship team, an excellent coach and GM. The best QB this team has ever seen as he’s better than Kelly (look at my name on this board as to how much I love Jimbo), and a WR (Diggs) that may rival one of my absolute favorite WR’s in “Over the Middle”. We are in it for the next decade and maybe longer. JA will only be 35-36 in ten years. That’s young for these rules. He’s sliding more now, not stupid like Cam, and barring some catastrophic injury should be our guy until I’m a Chand., (get off my lawn) retired. You know I luv ya Chandman. We’re a winner! The pain will subside. Five years from now we’ll have 1 or more SB championships, and have made the playoffs, 9 of 10 years. Everyone will say we are a perennial playoff team. -
He probably still wants to start at some crappy team, and you can’t blame him. If he is accepting it’s close to the end of his career and accepts a backup role, then maybe. I’m just resolved thatMitch will get a starting job somewhere. He would be an excellent backup.

Giants/Schoen interview Daboll for HC
machine gun kelly replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
We’ll, no, the Titans lost, and yes, Monday is the day to deal with his future. You’re wrong.
