  1. #15 T.J. Hockenson (Bills trade down sending #9 to Washington for #15, #76, #96) #31 N'Keal Harry (Bills trade up sending #40, #96 to Rams for #31)
  2. Ok, I'll bite... The only path I see via the trade chart to get this coveted 2 1sts and 2 2nds would require pulling off deals with Oakland and KC. Bills give 1st (#9) 1350pts, 4th(#131) 41 pts, 5th(#158) 28 pts to Oakland for 1st (#24) 740pts, 1st(#27) 680pts Bills give 2nd(#40) 500pts, 4th(#112) 70 pts to KC for 2nd(#61) 292pts, 2nd(#63) 276pts Those are comparable from a pure points perspective, but the Bills would be giving up the premium picks, so they may be able to do a little better.
  3. Josh Allen haiku? Sure... Star at Kentucky To the Bills if we're lucky Please fall to pick nine
  4. Zay has improved but still seems to lose concentration and drops balls he shouldn't at time. It frustrating, but there is still upside for him at this point. No where near a bust. Watching this makes you realize how little separation our receivers got last year, but Josh Allen was able to get catchable passes to them.
  5. That Chris Rock lookin kid from LSU, unless Tre talks him up.
  6. Please use the search feature before posting new topics. Good luck with that when the search term is Josh Allen. I posted this is my thread about Kentucky's Josh Allen when this same question was raised. Same name on a team has occurred on teams, but it's pretty rare: http://www.espn.com/espn/page2/story?page=lukas/081017
  7. I was in the "anyone but that prick Rosen" camp. Was hoping the Browns would take Allen to be honest, so I can't say I was enthusiastic about the pick. He's been a lot of fun to watch and a great kid to root for.
  8. It seems like the same name on a team is very rare across all the major sports. Best info I could find on it was this article: http://www.espn.com/espn/page2/story?page=lukas/081017 It calls out the 2 Roy Williams for the Cowboys, but doesn't reference that in the timeline.
  9. [[Disclaimer - if this has already been discussed my apologies. Good luck searching the forums for Josh Allen to find the one from Kentucky.]] So I've been watching some random mock drafts. One caught my attention as they predicted this year's unexpected drop is going to be Josh Allen based on his tape and limited moves. Since we are in the dead time between FA and the draft, let's speculate on this scenario. If he unexpectedly drops, but he's best player available on the Bill's board, I would think of course they select him. However, for some reason I cringe - a purely emotional response to the prospect. It would just be bizarre to hear with the 9th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft the Buffalo Bills select Josh Allen. It would feel like a novelty. So... any chance he's off the Bills board just because of his name? It's sounds crazy, but it's just a weird situation.
  10. Couldn't put a laugh and thanks, so I went with the laugh. So here is your THANKS for posting this.
  11. That article title is wrong, and this thread title is wrong, and it's misleading. It gives the impression that the Bills wanted Sam Darnold, for which their is no proof. The Jets did not trade up for Sam Darnold. They traded up to be in a position to pick one of the top 3 QBs on their board. The Giants very easily could have taken Darnold. The Jets would have needed to trade to #1 to claim they traded for Darnold.
  12. If true, I have to wonder... If Dan Quinn and Bill Belichick didn't want to keep him on their defenses, what is it that Bills see and think they are getting?
  13. So if Washington (#15) wants to jump Denver (#10) to get Drew Lock or Daniel Jones, the Bills politely decline because trading down is off the table?
  14. Saints opened up cap space. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001022586/article/saints-restructure-brees-contract-to-open-cap-space Now they have some room to make him an offer. Not much, but some. Putting faith in the medical staff on this one.
  15. I thought Beasley would be perfect in NE. The Bills WR corp has some promise.
  16. Tom Brady announces he's is going to break George Blanda's record and play until he is 49.
  17. The greatest team that was officially caught and punished by the league multiple times for cheating. They will always be associated with cheating, no getting around that. That being said, if you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'. Too bad for them they keep getting caught. Brady is the greatest QB of his era - GOHE, not GOAT. I have a hard time believing he would have lasted half as long if he played in the 80s. In my opinion, Marino is the greatest QB of all time, followed by Montana. Not sure how to rank Brady all time, but the cheater stain will always follow him.
  18. This topic is so strange. The Bills and Packers have played 13 times, with the Bills holding the edge 8-5. https://www.footballdb.com/teams/nfl/buffalo-bills/teamvsteam?opp=12 Why would there be any animosity between these 2 franchises???
  19. Can't pay Gillmore when you give Dareus $100M. I sure miss Whaley.
  20. We got a 2nd rounder and a starting CB (Gaines) for Watkins. Unless players are included, the Raiders would get a 1st at a minimum.
