  1. I'm hearing there bringing the drum corp back next year. Sorry my sources are wanting to remain anonymous.
  2. Not playing EJ is a smart move from a management CYA view. First, if he was to play and sucked. then Whaley and Maroon would be sealing their fate in regards to the hype that he has improved by sitting, watching, learning on the bench. maybe he has but now they get until september before his second unveiling. it buys everyone time including EJ himself. It also somewhat protects Brandons season ticket base. A lot of PO'D fans will not be happy without a game 16 blowout fresh on thier minds when they decide to re up. Hopefully they will bring in Some legit competition for the starting job. I really doubt they would trade him and they sure aren't cutting him. he makes peanuts in his rookie deal.EJ will be on the roster come next season. Imagine the blow back for 9 months if he played in a 42-3 thumping. And he sucked? These guys are all playing for their jobs. having Orton start has way more implications than Maroons " he gives us the best chance of winning" cliche. If they lose because of Orton they got their scapegoat they need. With the Broncos loss there is no playoff implications for either team. The pats* have homefield wrapped up. And knowing the hoody* he will pile it on until the final gun.
  3. what's werd is he always plays the pats tough......................
  4. As many know a great QB always takes the highest risk, toughest throw on any given play. I'm sure Kyle look at all his options and he obviously picked the right one. What's the big deal? he is so misunderstood.
  5. Why would he do that in a contract year? i would guess the opposite, but if he did it would be a signal that he wants out of Buffalo. And drop his FA market value. He is an emotional player but not a fool.
  6. Well, in the Bills case it's been the front office for the better part of 50+ years.
  7. Wow, things are so bright. They got to wear shades!!! Who knew building dominating O-lines was so easy?
  8. Wow, things are so bright they got too wear shades!!!! great news!
  9. harbaugh would not be a good fit in Buffalo. He needs to go back to the college ranks, where he has the power he craves.
  10. NEEDS: QB, Tight Ends, Running back, O line, and competent NFL grade coaches. And It really hurts too say this but Fred ex one of my favorite modern era bills. Is getting tired. His biggest threat now are the dump offs from orton. Which is okay. But recently he is hitting the holes (when there is one) late. And has lost his burst. The Bills need a true bone rattling back.Like the guy the Seachickens have. Why Can't the Bills find a guy like that? past Ole Fred the backups are pretty much useless. Although one has a cool nickname which for this downtrodden franchise is a bonus. This team is far and away needing way more than a QB for next year. I'll bet next years starter is on the team right now which is depressing. Of course a head coaching change could alter that. Since Brandon, Whaley, and St. Doug promised big things this seaon. And then pushing all their chips into the #14 sweepstakes. This season for me was another bust.,10-6 should have been the record or better. Playoffs would have been a bonus. Signing chris williams and then Orton a week before the opener was a clue that OBD at tmes is still clueless. Levitre has been gone for two seasons and no even serviceable replacement being found is Not good. Even if Manuel can be developed who is there to do it? No one worth a dam. Let's hope Kim is learning to watch film.
  11. I did. How many head coaches wore visors before Marrone came along? The cutting edge chit is there you just have too dig a little.
  12. A likely 8-8 season is viewed as not bad by some? Just shows what 15 years of crap football produces. Really though they are staring at the big TWO O next season twenty frigging years since the team WON a playoff game. Sorry, for some it's hard to be giddy when they just lost too a horrible team. Never thought Marrone could coach a bigger clunker than the Bucs last season. I was wrong. I guess I am just a bad fan for not being excited about hitting.500 for what the first time in ten years? Now that is progress. A special shout out to Rex Ryan for all the help reaching this milestone.
  13. typically perennial pro bowlers are referred as "one of the best" Wood is not. A slightly above average center who early on missed a lot of games in his career.A team leader and a good one. But a guy who sucked this season.
  14. Even then Most likely it will be a lot of ball washing between the OBD crony's on the noticeable improvement in the won/loss columnAnd the huge improvement in just year two of the current regime.
  15. Cutlers highest paid staus is because he is in year one of his deal. No doubt he will not be next year, or any year again. The Bills need a QB and a boatload of O-lineman at almost every position. IMO Glenn regressed, Hairston? Who is he? urbik and Pears may not even be in the league if not for the Bills. Williams? LOL! Eric Wood, while being a slightly above average center, is not a liabilty, but it wouldn't be a bad idea getting a decent back up. But Whaley knew this was gping to be an issue during Levitre's contract year. His inability to upgrade the line is a failure on his part. In the past Fitz's quick inaccurate release made the line look way better then they were credited for. Good thing Marrone is a supposed O-line guru. Good Times! The Bills made it to .500 in 2014.
  16. Mike williams and chris williams 2014 signings. something Whaley would be better off not putting down on his resume. Among other GM decisions. But Mike Williams busting out in Buffalo has to have a insiders slant. The guy was putting up okay numbers and was a red zone threat. it's the reason they traded for him a day or two before he would have been cut. yep, he was a pain the butt. But the list of those players in the NFL is very long. hard to believe Hogan beat him out on a roster spot. No slight on Hogans contributions but why trade for a guy you coaxhed and had issues with during the pinstripe bowl years. Then crap on him. he came here in a trade no less. And becomes the best practice squad receiver. Something doesn't add up. Ditto, with Urbik who although sucks was the better option all year. This team is still a mess the silver lining being the Pegula's. lets hope they don't give the HC and his entire offensive staff another year to prove that he does not belong as a HC in the league. I wish Mike Willaims the best, too bad he could not make it on his hometown team.
  17. maybe just maybe his personal off field issues aside. he was smart enough to realize the dysfunction in Buffalo would get him nowhere in the league, much less a ring. he wanted out, and wasn't the first talented back to leave way before his expiration date. One has to wonder when the comment to #94 in the media after he signed in Buffalo " Playing in Buffalo you will never see the playoffs" doesn't have some truth to it.
  18. I have zero problem with him staying. As long as his duty's reporting to Kim are. power point presentations on the upstick of seat cushions, Hot Dog Sales, and the stats on people caught sneaking subway sandwiches into the games. He is useless, a guy who has been here for every second of suck, better known as Bills football. He should be muzzled, fired, whatever. he is a huge reason the Bills and more importantly the staff at OBD are one of the worst in the NFL. With his supposed "new" position within the organization it was actually stunning for him to still be making football related comments regarding the team. he is a moron, and a loser, like his crony staff. Put him in the basement and take his stapler.
  19. I like QB's with some fight in them. Is he draft eligible yet?
  20. Would he get to keep the cardboard cut out of the Lombardi trophy with him he has hanging in the fieldhouse? I vote yes since it the closest he will ever get to a real one in the NFL.
  21. The connection with Marrone is probably the reason it won't happen. i think there is a reason the Bills did not draft him Get a few beers in Marrone and he just might tell the story. They had multiple shots at Nassib even after the pick at #16. May have been a good thing having a true rook competition for the job. That era of the Bills FO had zero out of the box thinking. Then if EJ turned into a bust, and Nassib turned out even ok. The FO would have less ka ka on their faces now. In fact it would have been looked at as a smart strategy.
  22. The Lots were paved!!! And, there is the coors experience or whatever it's called. Which is a disappointment of epic proportions, but its heated when it's cold out. Work on the gates And that's a 130 mil more or less. Oh and the new "larger" screen which really only makes the ads larger. That Is a tad irritating for all the publicity it got.
  23. Got to score you a 10 on that one. Well Played!
