  1. Smoke it
  2. Yeah because Receivers have to be able display their backpedaling, recovery speed, and hip fluidity skills all the time
  3. I figured as much. Thanks Astrobot. This is another in a long line of sad excuses for reporting and journalism.
  4. Looks like the ARM found a way to do multiple votes
  5. Based on the comments of another poster, it seems more like they asked Marv if he would be taking a QB and he said Not in the 1st or 2nd round, but one would be brought in from either Later in the draft or FA. Did he really indicate the "to compete for the starting job" part? Or is this your typical media irresponsibility?
  6. Madden!!!!!! Madden I say!!!!
  7. Nate was not man-up with Chambers for more than a handful of plays in that game Two other words you may not have known about: Trail Technique (something Nate was asked to utilize alot this past season) ...and a blitz /zone over the top scheme/philosophy...
  8. Nate is actually a pure Man Cover guy. That is his natural role at the corner postition and when he is ALLOWED to use that technique, he has produced, big time for this team.
  9. Thankyor Mr. Arm. That's exactly what I was saying.
  10. The whole D looked poor this year and Nate was asked to play a lot of "over" zone coverage all year long, which is not his forte. He's gonna be playing more man "under" (2 cover-2 safeties over the top) type of coverage this season which should get him back to his level of play from 2004, which was spectacular. He's got size, enough speed, hands, supports the run well, etc. I think you have too easily dismissed his previous 4 seasons.
  11. I'm waiting for the day when they make a clause in the CBA that allows for veteran players with say 4 or 5 years service on a team to count less against the cap on a progressing basis for each additional year. This would encourage teams to keep players that fans identify with and keep some consistency with the team's identity.
  12. I very much agree with this, especially in the specific wording (is that a word?) you used...
  13. Part of it is likely because many have read or seen where Williams has states he absolutlely wants to be a Bill and knows he will have to restructure his contract in order to remain here.
  14. Jennings has now played in pobably about 65 % of his possible starts. I really liked him when healthy. It just wasn't the case that he was healthy often enough to justify over-paying to keep him.
  15. Winfield stops the run better. Nate does everything else better.
  16. That might have us competing by 2009 Although I agree generally with what you said about guys who have had chance after chance after chance on the team...
  17. oh cool, now they can track him with GPS!
  18. That article was a simple regurgitation of the NY Post article.
  19. He's better than Nate O and T Smith for sure... wasn't butch before Romes?
  20. Bill, you are a true Bills fan .... and actually quite fair in most of your assessments.
  21. Larry Fitzgerald
  22. I agree with all of that. I have envisioned him on the left side ever since that NE game when he held out McGinness(sp?) really well.
