  1. Anyone see this yet? (from KFFL): Eagles | Once again confirm Thomas is on the trading block Mon, 13 Mar 2006 18:28:08 -0800 Bob Brookover, of the Philadelphia Inquirer, reports a league source confirmed Monday, March 13, that the Philadelphia Eagles are listening to offers for DT Hollis Thomas, but it's not a certainty that the team will trade him. The Eagles are trying to find out if any team looking for a run-stopping defensive tackle will make a worthwhile offer. Thomas is heading into the final year of his contract. (KFFL) Interesting...
  2. I think your answer may be that the people who read the college rumors have extrapolated them onto his NFL career.
  3. Don't forget Moulds
  4. Ok , here are the two starting DT's who played in front of Fletcher at STL during the SuperBowl winning season: Jeff Zgonina 6-2 290 lbs D'Marco Farr 6-1 280 lbs (FWIW)
  5. I was wondering how long before some tripe like that would be forthcoming
  6. Let's see, he played in a cover 2 scheme for that crying coach in St. Louis, no?
  7. That's all nice but I never said I wanted to let Reed walk, in fact I supported him this past season, and I like Bannon as a backup. Coy on the other hand....I've seen enough as a starter anyway. Also there is zero evidence from any source that JP was/is a lockerroom cancer
  8. But we should give up on a talented kid at QB with 8 starts?
  9. I'd take WR Roy Williams too, that damn flop!
  10. We are what, 3 days into FA? and we have 2 depth/role guys and a starter or atleast good rotation guy at DT. This team has a plan and they are beginning (key word) to implement it. If Pickett can be signed we would have 2 legit DT's for the D that is trying to be put in place here. They will both be young and with upside to boot. This is somehow a negative ? Were we supposed to call Bentley's agent and say "wait, don't signb with your home town club for 7 mil per season, we'll offer you 8mil per!! " ? Do people really believe that the team will feel satisfied with the state of the OL as status quo? Remember, we are 3 days in, with the draft upcoming as well. The original post here is DEAD on accurate IMO.
  11. Agreed. A horrible figure was given to him especially because they already have a guy like him in Santana Moss.
  12. Peters IS a better fit at LT than RT, and I simply can't understand how any Bills fan could not see that. He had his best plays in space , utilizing his footwork and lateral movement. What we need is a RT.
  13. So much for the Eagles aye?
  14. What a fantastic and impressive run this has already been!
  15. Which is why we must place our hopes in the thought that Marv will be effective as the go-between for Ralph and the team. Marv speaks his language, and he is comfortable and trusts Marv. It is Levy that will ultimately make or break it for this team, atleast in the next few seasons. The notion of Ralph being overly active and putting the veto on good decisions is likely an exaggerated fear IMO.
  16. Chocolate Tko Since 1911.
  17. I entered "Dick and Marv" : Central Heating for Dick And Marv. Smart. Beautiful. Dick And Marv. The Dick And Marv that Smiles Back. Hands That Do Dishes Can Be Soft As Your Dick And Marv. Reach Out and Touch Dick And Marv. plus 1 check on "TKO": You're in Good Hands with Tko.
  18. The only thing we really know is this: Whomever gets picked, there is going to be a yet undetermined group of Bills fans who say it was the right pick and the best pick. Then there is going to be a significantly larger group of Bills fans who : a- wonder "WTF did they do that? when Mel Kiper has said otherwise. b- claim that the player picked was not a need pick but should have been. c- Claim that the player picked was not the best player available but should have been. Last, there will be a small group who aren't sure what to make of the pick and will look at the big picture closer to the beginning of the season when all Free agent moves, draft picks and transactions have been made. You never know which group you're gonna end up in
  19. Both are needs and both are the best available at their respective positions. In fact, if you add Huff into the mix, that goes for all 3 of 'em. It is likely that one of these 3 will not live up to their billing, and will bust. Nobody knows who that will be unfortunately. The draft is just as much a gamble as it is a science. Personally, I'd be happy with any of these 3 at the 8 spot.
  20. Chad Jackson in round 2 of the draft (if he makes it that far)....(given that our first round and 3rd round picks are spent on the defensive and offensive lines)
  21. Congrats to him and yes he is a very good back and yes he is soft. Hey, everyone's got atleast one flaw....
  22. I don't see how the Skins will possibly be able to comply with the cap deadline. This ought to be interesting.
