  1. Bills are definitely gone after Ralph passes away, if not sooner. Hey, football is going down the same road as baseball with this new contract. When was the last time the Pirates or Royals had a team? I heard rumors that Bills are headed for Los Angeles, due to television revenue and 15 million market in population. Buffalo is now the 83rd largest city in America after places like Toledo and Riverside. Should have built that waterfront about 30 years ago. You can also thank Jerry Jones and Dan "punk" Snyder, since they are the new Steinbrenner's of football. And for all you fellow Yankees fans, it's payback time in regards to the Bills eventually leaving under the new contract.
  2. Maybe he is interviewing for the Rally Monkey opening in Anaheim.
  3. -The Bills signing of Craig Nall cannot be a vote of confidence for JP. It is still too early to judge JP and if he will be a bust or not. He needs more experience and a good offensive line in front of him. But i am biting my tongue because he was drafted by that GM guru, Tom donohoe. Which means he probably is another bust! Does Losman remind Bills fan of another player from Southern California, with similar size,a great arm, the ability to run, but was indecisive and held onto the ball too long - namely Rob"sack-em" Johnson, who is probably surfing naked with Todd Marinovich at this moment in SoCal. -The positive about Nall is that he comes from a system that is known for grooming QB's and he has good size. We'll have to wait and see, but JP doesn't look like he has that moxie to be a good QB, or the brains.
  4. I work with Fowler's brother and he can play either guard or center. He is a better run-blocker and while at Cleveland, Lee Suggs had over 100 yards for every game that Fowler has played. Put simply, he is probably better than Trey Teague and has more upside.
  5. Failure of imagination - Why don't you try the failure of Tom Donohoe to draft good players........Let's try Losman at DB while we are at it. Bills fans must be breathing in all the chemicals from Tonawanda.
  6. Stick with Lindell..........Janikowski would drink up all the vodka in Chippewa
  7. -SEatlle Seahawks have best two linemen in football, Steve Hutchinson and Walter Jones. Is it any wonder that Shaun Alexander had 28 t.d.s. - Pittsburgh has Pro Bowlers in A.Faneca and Jeff HArtings. -The Kansas City Chiefs have one of the best offensive line's and is it any wonder that Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson run forever behind that line. - Didn't the Ravens win Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer at QB, behind a great offensive line and a great defense. - I cannot believe that Bills fans are not talking about drafting an offensive lineman or defensive lineman. I hear all this talk about a QB. I thought that Losman was the second coming. He may be, but unless there is someone to block for him and give hime time, we will never know. - And draft Vince Young. could be another Michael Vick. - Everyone knows that great teams have great lines. Until the Bills address that need, they will continue to go nowhere. - Super Bowl Bills had #1 picks Jim Ritcher and Will Wohlford. We also had Kent Hull, who was a Pro Bowler.
  8. I agree, how many team do you know that went to the playoffs without a good offensive line. Didn't Baltimore win with Trent Dilfer??? Also, some experts said Vince Young always operated out of shotgun and will have to learn 3-step drop. Don't get me wrong, i think he is a great talent. But so was Michael Vick and i hardly consider him a great QB.
  9. HEY, BILLS MUST BE LOADED WITH TALENT. WE HAVE TWO PRO BOWLERS, A PUNTER AND A SNAPPER. HARDLY MAKES US A SUPER BOWL CONTENDER FOR ALL THOSE DREAMERS OUT THERE!......... O.J. Simpson, Jim Kelly, Bruce Smith, Thurman Thomas, Steve Tasker, Andre Reed, Ruben Brown . . . Mike Schneck. What do those Buffalo Bills players have in common? As of Thursday, they all were chosen to represent the team at the NFL's Pro Bowl. Schneck, the long-snapper, was added to the roster Thursday by AFC coach Mike Shanahan as a "need" player. Schneck will join punter Brian Moorman as the Bills' representatives in the league's all-star game on Feb. 12 in Hawaii. The AFC did not have anyone on its roster of stars capable of handling the long-snapping duties, and Schneck was recognized for his excellence. Schneck, 28, successfully executed 128 snap opportunities this year for the Bills.
  10. I think Mawae had a pretty bad knee injury and it isn't the first time. Bentley would come at a cheaper price.
  11. Fisher had 9 sacks this year.......Much more than Denney.
  12. Steelers much more successful than Bills.......Cannot win Super Bowl - That will probably change in a couple weeks. AS for the Bills, can we even get to the playoffs.........What are the playoffs????
  13. CBS Sports article Everyone wants to know the secret to the Pittsburgh Steelers playing in the Super Bowl. How can a team that was once 7-5 now find itself one game away from the impossible, getting a ring after ripping off seven consecutive victories, including three on the road in the playoffs? Is it the improvement of Ben Roethlisberger? How about the play of All-World safety Troy Polamalu? Maybe great run defense? They've all been a big factor, but if you really want to see the secret to the Steelers' turnaround, it's really right in front of our faces. How could we possibly miss 1,700 pounds of them? It's the Steelers' powerful offensive line, five guys who have suddenly jelled into a unit that not only protects Roethlisberger, but also can run the ball when the Steelers get a lead. They are strong enough to play the road-grader line, yet nimble enough to handle blitzing teams as they did Sunday against Denver in the AFC Championship Game. That's one thing about the NFL and good teams: Their offensive lines are usually pretty dominant. For that to be the case, it usually takes premium picks to be successful. The Indianapolis Colts' line was dominated by the Steelers a few weeks back. Do you know how many first-, second- or third-round picks are on that line? One. The Steelers have three former first-round picks, a second-round pick (Smith) and a third-round pick (Starks). The front office has made drafting big bodies a priority, although Hartings was signed as a free agent from Detroit. "This is a team that uses high picks on linemen," Starks said. "When they drafted us, they expected us to be successful. And right now that's apparent."
