  1. I admit that I only saw him in about 3 games this year, but my does he look over-rated! And SU COMPLETELY befuddled him in the bowl game.
  2. Indeed... It will be interesting to find out.
  3. Good stuff. I liked the NPR-ish flavor too
  4. Truth! And that comes with me (and I'm sure you as well) realizing that Fitz is not the answer
  5. Never once said Fitz had an arm, just a way more refined one than TT ... bored with this.
  6. Sorry - disagree as does the entire NFL collective staffs/
  7. You've got to be nuts to believe he is even a thought or consideration for any one as a true QB. And the funny thing about your stats sarcasm is that I look at and value stats probably as little as anyone you'd ever want to debate with on here. Those SEASON completion % numbers do mean a TON though.
  8. total BS Tebow is not even a quarterback in the NFL NFL qb's need to be able to read defenses and throw from within the pocket and Fitz's accuracy is indeed not great but is MUCH better than Tebow's (things are a lot different when you throw 25 to 40 passes per game). Beyond that... Size? who cares / Arm strength sure Tebow's got that one, Scrambling/running threat - who cares when thats all he can do. Turnover Prone- Do you remember when he played the Bills last year. Anyway I'll stop now because this is the stupidest argument ever. Sure let's compare our mediocre QB to a Tight end/ H-Back Here is Tebow's "Accuracy" from last year: 126 completions, 271 attempts, 46.5 %
  9. Fitz is a lot better actually.... And I say that knowing that Fitz needs to be replaced as the starter.
  10. Is this really a thread here??? I shouldn't be shocked I guess but I kind of still am. I mean Tebow? Really???
  11. This is typical.... The reality is that this year OVERALL, Spiller is MASSIVELY improved in pass protection and has done a fine job with it (yes better than average). The OP still is right in a sense because Spiller was not as good in pass protection during the Rams game specifically. This does not excuse the coaches from some of the other games where Spiller got less than acceptable touches.
  12. Found my Pops and I... Pretty cool feature!
  13. Not sure if any of you saw it, but It was confirmed on the broadcast last week that SU is running the K-Gun offense this year (yes our offense from the 90's). Their staff studied it and have implemented it and it's paying dividends. Ryan has steadily improved in his time at SU and I would indeed be intrigued by a pickup like that. He is very smart with his reads like Fitz, but has a stronger arm. He'd be an interesting development guy...
  14. It's cool, it wasn't for you directly or specifically.
  15. Why do we always have to pit two players against each other and decide which one we like and then throw the other one under the bus in any way possible? Oy....Bills fans on here!
  16. I agree, and in that order.... Although I'd add in option 4 - Throw it out of the back of the endzone (it was only 2nd down and hey what the heck you might get an interference call like Brady did )
  17. 35 1st downs and 480 yds of offense says otherwise
  18. Sounds like excuses at first glance, but it's true. Soooo painfully true.
  19. No way did coaching lose this game. No friggin way... Not today.
  20. Spiller was IN the game and open on that play. The QB needs to get it tohim!... The yards per touch are great for CJ and I am his BIGGEST fan. The YPT are ALSO a result of the situations the team is in. If they ran him more on 3rd and 1 or 2 the YPT wouldn't be so high....
  21. Graham was just on Channel 13 in Roch saying the play was his own fault... Regardless it was an ill-advised throw
