  1. Exactly!!This CB group is specifically designed for this scheme. No more square pegs in round holes! White sounds like he had a fantastic camp and Gaines is healthy and seems to be a perfect fit. Johnson and Wright also played very solid. This CB group will end up being legit, watch. White/Gaines could be a lethal combo.. This D will work as a unit. Their communication and understanding of the scheme is night and day from last year... Except they'll be competing this year, so this theory is rubbish
  2. Aaron Williams,Bradham , Grahm , Robey , Mario , Sammy,Woods,Gimore etc . Our D took a hit, but some moves were necessary, some very overrated players I listed. Maybe McD knows what he's doing and we are contending this year. We have to much talent to tank. Still a beast DL I think Preston and Tre White can be pro bowl material, Upgraded at both S positions, I think this D Will be a surprisingly great unit.
  3. I like it. We have a very underrated CB group. White sounds like an immediate starter, even an immediate#1 . Gaines ,Wright , Johnson are excellent for this scheme. Our front four is legit. Preston and Co are legit and Hyde and Poyer are legit. Invest in the offense.
  4. And if we had a competent D which it looks like we could have a very good one, we win 10+ games The last two years playing"70s" football..We have an ELITE running game
  5. We're really questioning Tolbert? He was a lock. Proven vet, had a solid camp and is a great change of pace from Shady
  6. I was going to say Adolphus, went with Gaines and Poyer. Dude should cause alot of disruption in the backfield for us, especially if 99 and 95 stay healthy
  7. Hyde is a versatile beast, he consistently made big time plays for the Pack in many of their prime time games, plus a true leader. Loved the addition. O.R- Wood U.R- Gaines, Poyer
  8. I'm still sticking to my guns that we see something this year. I expect very strong D and our elite run game to carry us. Anticipating we get Shady and Clay more involved in the pass game .
  9. I disagree with you guys. Kearse wouldn't be cut for starters, and Sheldon has been known to be very imnature off the field
  10. Have very high hopes for him. Very high on Him and White , hope they are going to be staples for the O and D
  11. It definitely feels that way. I'm also cautiously optimistic that we play as a team come regular season and handle business,be highly competitive
  12. Extended Rumor is this is being set up already, after seeing the numbers May Mac did. Special guest referee is Johnathan Martin!
  13. I admit I have a bad eye for judging an OL but even I could tell Duc looked absolutely awful.. Dawkins looked impressive minus 1 play. Miller looked solid.
  14. Ok? Did we allow a 20+ yard run? (Honestly asking, don't believe so) , I'm also almost positive their ypc were extremely low, I watched first half,I thought run and pass D were stout. Think they did much better than OK. This is going to be a fun D to watch..
  15. I'm going by regular season stats, not 15 minutes of playing time in the pre season.95 QB rating 37 TD 12 Int Give me those numbers with a very good D and we're instant contenders
  16. Seriously. He's an absolute beast. Offenses have to spend time game planning around him. You can't treat him like a regular player, for money and talent reasons. If Dareus can dominate like he should, he takes an already good looking D to the next level
  17. Jason is a Baltimore guy and very credible. Sounds like he was awfully late. I love that he got some tough love. On a positive, it's week 3 of pre season, hopefully this can turn out to be a positive, as Dareus realizes there's zero room for error.I think he knows he so naturally skilled that he can slack off and still play at a high level. Apparently his conditioning and commitment have been impressive so far. Coaches and players have both said it. The hope is Dareus embraces that role and dominates, if this is the worse Dareus news I hear, I'll take that every year
  18. Manning went 7-14 well under 100 yards and a pick. It's pretty season, bottom line.I agree OP, it's great to see Clay get involved, him and Shady are going to be big parts of the pass game
  19. I hope he can go, with our defense looking extremely stout, we just need a QB to not lose games. Despite what we seen in Pre season, I think our run game will still be elite, plus Glenn and Matthews are big upgrades on that side
  20. We really do, and we got some quality depth behind him. That can be a disruptive group on the DL
  21. Last year's draft should end up as a goodie I'm. Feel Shaq will be a stud, Adolphus is going to be good, Seymour and Williams as well. That's four major contributors plus a talented Ragland who hopefully comes on.This year's draft I like too. White being a stud allowed the Darby trade and we have a number one cb for five years.
  22. I'd take It a step further and say if we can stay relatively healthy we could be a contender now. Imo it all comes down to how improved our defense is, and I believe through scheme and coach change, they will vastly improve. A top 10 D combined with our Elite run game has always been a recipe for success in the NFL, through every era, including today's NFL, and we could realistically have both , I also have hope Taylor will improve his pass game but at the very least he will not lose us games
  23. Spencer Ware carted off too. AFC thinning out. I don't wish for any man to sustain those type of injuries but I'm 30 and never seen a Bills playoff game as an adult. I'll take all the advantages we can get. Injuries are part of the game, hope we luck out this year, last two years have been brutal
