Exactly.. Look at the scheme and defense as a puzzle. You got 11 pieces and Star is one of the most important pieces,but his piece of the puzzle is not flashy and isn't meant to be a playmaker,he makes the playmakers jobs around him much easier.

He realistically could be the next Wentz.. I think we're so used to terrible QBs that we're kinda preparing ourselves for a disaster but he is by far the most talented QB since Kelly. How that translates on the field will be awesome to watch and if he is the real deal, with this coaching and roster, we have a legit shot at a SB..

Idk but a TD there changes alot, how do you throw against Ramsey on the 1? Run 3-4 times, can live with that. I'm missing some plays , I watched the full game like a month ago and just felt like we should have won... The 2 biggest weaknesses from that game imo (Tyrod and Dennison) are gone..

The Jag game can be seen online. Helluva defensive performance . Easily could have won, plays that shaped game that don't get brought up- 1st n goal at 1 , decided to throw to KB causing opi. Get 3 instead of 7. The FG we gave up before half , again on the offense terrible play calling,had ball under 2 min, 2 incompletions + Tre White dropped a easy int at midfield ,still great play tho, Jags don't get 3, we possibly get a FG The 40 yard McCoy screen that got called back by unnecessary hold in late 4th. Point being we keep mentioning the lack of talent but ignore that we actually play great team ball and with Tyrod and Dennison gone , how could the O not get better?

As long as the offense has such an elite player,fully bought in , they'll always have a shot to be a threat. Even with question marks at QB , OC and OL , I think it's a huge addition by subtraction losing Tyrod n Dennison

We're officially the new Legion of (B)Doom.. Just imagine how much better that secondary will be with what should be a much improved pass rush+ 2nd year continuity in system

I'm very optimistic . I think McBeane are going to be here a longgg time , i get the feeling they have a very clear vision for success and are very precise in their aqusitions. McDermott knows Star and like you said,he might not put up flashy numbers but he's an essential part of this defense. Mainly taking up blockers , making the dline and LB jobs much easier , but McD knows his character and for them to throw that kind of money at him, I am confident he will be a very important piece to this defense. I think the roster won't be fully set til this time next year but we improved overall on last year , where we had a legit chance of winning 14/17 games. I personally attribute many of those losses to tentative Taylor... Trust the process , what reason do you have not too?

Exactly. Pff had a stat on opposing passer rating vs pressure, Bills were second behind Jax. But we were the 2nd to last in pressure %.. We definitely added some nice pieces up front, we get consistent pressure and we should have the best secondary in the NFL

All pro/best lb in the nfl upside , steal of the draft imo. If he pans out , him and Tre in back to back drafts is pretty amazing.

Crazy..I live about 5 min from the home,in the next town over , it's not a town I'd expect a multi millionaire to live , I'm thinking he probably stayed there once in a blue moon and bought it for a family member with just his name on the house.

It happened last year , well 9-8 record , and going back and recently watching the Bengals week 5 and Jags week 18 games and the offensive system was awful . I don't see how it can be much worse. Just super boring with very little imagination. Our staff obviously addressed that by bringing in a new scheme. I expect expectations to be higher overall

I voted Robbie Anderson but KB easily has the highest upside and tons of untapped potential. He was a 1st Rd pick for a reason. These reports are extremely encouraging, KB could easily surpass his 1000+ 10 TD rookie year. Shady/Clay and a healthy full potential KB is lethal and will make the other WR lives much easier. KB could be a legit#1 WR The offense can't be much worse than last year and potentially much better. Defense should be substantially better. We shouldn't be lowering expectations. This is a 10+ win team

He had no business touching the field last year , unless in garbage time. It was UGLY. He'd need to take some gigantic steps to be a competent QB.

Yea he's def on tonight. Showed a brief clip of him when showing the commercial Edit- comes in at # 30.. God i hope AJ or Allen can be above average , I can't imagine how much better he'd be with an NFL passing game

I expect Davis to have a huge year too. I feel this scheme is a wonderful fit for him if he stays healthy

This is year 1 of the Patriots slow decline. It has been said for years but I think this is definitely the beginning of the end. Mediocre at best FA signings and poor drafting has caught up with them, among other internal issues between the players and staff...

Respect to Nate, he manned up and said he messed up by not including Tre on his top 10 2nd year player list, showing him a ton of respect in the process. Tip my hat to any man that can admit his mistakes. Some further context- Also Tre called out Nate on the Andrew Siciliano interview which I can't find and was already posted on here.

I agree ESPN has went downhill but The Espys is pretty awesome , and the only sports award show. Jimmy V's famous speech is one of the most iconic and heartwarming moments in history, period. The Jimmy V award is a big deal and Jim Kelly deserves it 100%. To see how close these Hof guys are to the Bills still is just awesome and I can't wait to see them celebrating our first Lombardi soon.

Yea true but I feel it's making a comeback as elite QB play has went downhill. Still feel guys like Shady are highly regarded , it's just that most RB nowadays have a good 2-3 years and fall off. As Nate Burleson said at halftime of the WildCard game,"He's the best player on the field" Which is quite a compliment considering the guys on that Jax D.
