I like the look of this roster/Defense
JerseyBills replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McDermott to me has to be in the conversation of elite defensive minds in the NFL. And he seems to hit on FA and drafted players , knowing exactly what role the new guys are going to play. His scheme seems extremely easy for players to grasp , yet causes consistent turmoil for opposing offenses. I see this defense as top 10 or better , with year 2 of the roster remake, and no big time losses and alot of gains on D , I can see a great defense for years to come.. I agree. Nothing to do with skills(which Allen clearly had the highest ceiling)- I don't know if Rosen has that warrior spirit in him , or has the ability to lead a group of grown men on offense. I see the total opposite in Allen -
Crazy we had Watkins,Woods, Goodwin and Hogan ... The guy I might miss the most is Rookie Karlos Williams. If he panned out, him and Shady would be terrorizing defenses

MMQB: The Jets' Long Road To Sam Darnold
JerseyBills replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Interesting...... If both hit , it instantly puts us as an elite AFC team for years to come, and with 100 mil next FA period, Brady on his last leg , it could really catapult Buffalo into legit contenders to come out of the AFC , exciting times. McBeane totally erased the stench of Rex/Whaley from this franchise in less than 1 years time. We hit the jackpot with those two imo -
??Poyer/Hyde both top 5 coverage grade for S ??
JerseyBills replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not only off the edge. Star will demand two blockers, freeing up the middle as well. Lorax the last couple games, including the WC game was a beast off the edge especially. Seems like McD found his perfect fit and balance between LB and DE. They even announced he'll be playing more DE in off season -

Absolutely! Been saying that too, it's pretty incredible really what our secondary did with one of the worse pass rushes in the league. It's going to cause even more turnovers. Can't wait. -
What did Fitz say about Whaley at the Roast: Redux

Murph actually killed it! That was enjoyable from beginning to end -
QB of the defense for the next decade, while also getting the offensive QB of the future in same draft. Bravo to this staff, the foundation is being layed for something special fellas! Yes, every first rder is signed for 4 years with a 5th year Team option.

JALEN RAMSEYCLOWNS BILLS QB JOSH ALLEN... DELETES
JerseyBills replied to TucsonBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea . Ramsey is ahead but barely imo. He has Bouye opposite and a great D. Interested to see Tre improve even more with a better front 4 and more pressure... He should have had a pick with under 2 min in that Wild card game at the 50... He dropped it on 3rd , we go 3 n out Jags ultimately got 3 before half, that pick changes that . Anyway, I truly feel Tre n Ramsey are much closer than most think -

Ramsey won't even be the best CB playing on November 25th. We're getting that W back ... -
Phenomenal coaching tends to do that

I've been saying something similar. Why are we lowering expectations based on the same negative nonsense that we said this time last year? But it's all good, they'll feel disrespected again, and use it as motivation on route to 10 wins.

2-2 , if not for Jeremy Hill , he's 3-1 with a playoff W over Pit, including a clutch 4th atr drive Taylor hasn't pulled off in 3 years -
How much difference does Edmunds' size and speed make?
JerseyBills replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I disagree. I think we see a major difference in Edmunds over Brown. He plays much much quicker sideline to sideline, potential major impact -
Biggest wild card on team. We're going to need him to earn his investment we took. Remember, we traded up for him . He showed glimpses, rarely, but you can see the potential if he can find the consistentcy. He steps up and suddenly that WR group isn't too shabby...

I'm content with Clay/O'Leary , with Logan growing. I'll always take an upgrade but rather invest in WR or OL.

Gregg Rosenthal: AFC East Projected Starters
JerseyBills replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The WR positional group is better than it was last off-season is what I'm saying. KB- Zay- Kerley-Streater-Holmez-3 rookies > Matthews-Rookie Zay-Thompson-Holmes..Clay & Shady are not being accounted for either, so lets pump the brakes. KB, who is healthy now, gives us a legit # 1 WR, which we didn't have last year. Yea, Thompson and his 1.8 rec per game and 1 TD is such a huge loss ,smh...? -
Gregg Rosenthal: AFC East Projected Starters
JerseyBills replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Same negative vibes as last off-season. Same comments, I expect similar outcome... 9-10 wins By my calculations and personal opinion, we improved every group except OL. Including WR, based on adding KB and losing highly ineffective Matthews and Thompson(27 rec, 1 TD), that's an upgrade all day. So , I disagree completely with this assessment.. This doesn't include elite coaching staff. It's Literally the only positional group that got weaker. We upgraded every other group. I'm more optimistic. Groy,Miller and Teller can easily be starting depending what happens, and we got a 2nd year stud at LT. Also don't sleep on Connor McDermott at RT.. Could be Dawkins-Teller-Groy-Miller-McDermott With a plethora of veteran backups..
