  1. Both are first man up when Kyle and Murphy are sitting.. No way he releases either with the salary they make. Very valuable depth
  2. Very good comparison, similar attributes, it all came together for Agholor in year 3. Whether Coleman does or doesn't put it all together , for a 7th , I take that all day with the Bills WR. If him and/or Zay can reach their potential , this wr corps is suddenly good-looking very good, assuming KB stays healthy
  3. KB and Cadet wasn't here until halfway point , him being healthy alone makes this a much better wr group . Coleman/Zay have big untapped potential.. Tyrod is a terrific athlete but horrendous QB. Biggest difference is Dennison and Daboll. I love that McD and co moved on after one year. Dennison's scheme was also horrendous. I like 18 by a big margin. I really think we struck gold with McBeane
  4. Great potential fit for the scheme ! Bills bought low on a need .
  5. I think he's much better than he gets credit for on here. I think he's a legit # 1
  6. I've been impressed with Ivory and the depth at RB behind Shady
  7. It's absolutely ridiculous . I can't wrap my head around how they would think the positive outweighs the negative with this rule
  8. The end zone one ,which was a great physical play cost a TD versus a FG and the last one called was questionable and had everybody confused about how they will consistently enforce this ridiculous rule.. I understand player safety but this rule is just beyond ridiculous , I mean that end zone play is why we have safeties on the field , it's a rule that doesn't seem well thought out and is going to be destructive to the game if it is called that way in the regular season
  9. This is why we paid Star big $$, makes everyone around him better
  10. I thought he was pretty consistent as far as pressure , but teams didn't have to worry about pressure from their right edge with Shaq and Davis consistently innefective at creating it.. I mean no pass rusher is going to be a force every game obviously, but I thought Hughes was pretty consistent at getting pressure , and because of the lack of pressure elsewhere gave the illusion that he was ineffective in many games. He also has gotten fantastic at stopping the run.. I thought he was just as good as 2014 (last time in 43) when he had 10 sacks, but then he had a prime Super Mario opposite him . With Murphy I expect them to compliment each other very well and Hughes will have a monster year, along with Murphy.
  11. Dimarco is actually very capable in the pass game, Dennison was just dull and super basic , look at the impact he had in ATL under Shanahan in 2016
  12. Yea true, I'm a big Powell fan but this kid McGuire had alot of hype around him , many jet fans felt thought he'd turn into a bonafide number 1
  13. Also the Jets 2nd year RB McGuire , who was expected to have a big year , RB coach saying he reminds him of the great LT , fractured his foot - out indefinitely. Big blow for them.
  14. Very early but this draft looking like we added a Been saying since last year , Hughes numbers didn't reflect his play at all , in his prime and with an upgraded line the numbers should show that this year, one of the most underrated DE in league imo
  15. That's going to happen , one of the best , most instinctive secondary ??????? Let's go 17!! That was beautiful, Tyrod never threw with anticipation like this.. NFL Network covering Bills TC after commercial break
  16. Yess!! I've been saying this since draft night, Ray Ray is going to be used kinda like Tyreek Hill, just all over the field, exploiting the defense, I like this!!
  17. I honestly trust almost everybodys opinion on here over national media.. They have no clue and really how could they? As for the offense , just the little I saw in practice , as far as motion, rpo , and slants even have me thinking this unit can surpass a truly awful and mind boggling OC and QB , strictly off much improved play calling. Dennison was awful , and Shady,Clay and a much improved looking KB are legit weapons ,with the other WR just not having opportunities to produce.. Taylor has to be the or one of the worse anticipation passers in the league. I rematched the Jax game , the play calling and Tyrod were in pre season form, just abysmal, Shady was the best player on the field and just a force.. based off addition by subtraction , there's a very good chance we improve on O. Hausch was a huge part of that too
  18. Big difference sounds like Daboll , it'd be hard to be worse than Dennison/Taylor
  19. Great news. I'm not convinced he's going to decline , he passed the eye test with flying colors Last year and is crucial to the teams success.. Unless some huge developments unfold,I don't see his availability being affected at all....
  20. I stumbled on this last week and it's a great video imo.. This is a non Bills fan that extensively watched his highlight INT @ ATL last year.. I was especially blown away to hear that was the first time Atlanta ran that play last year , as the video says and as I'm sure most already know, Hydes instincts are just off the charts and he fits this scheme phenomenally.. Enjoy the video , I thought the board would enjoy.. Skip to 2:55 for start
  21. I actually like it. Get it out of the way as much as possible so the media isn't constantly bringing it up. Unless some huge developments come out , I don't see it affecting his availability
  22. We also lucked out like the Bengals and Panthers games, so it works both ways. Bottom line , we were in 13/17 games last year with an abysmal QB/OC combination A Hugeeeee liability in pass coverage . Very well said...
  23. 55BThe two most ireson is Sean McDermott and Leslie Frazier. I remember after hiring McDermott I saw a video of him interacting with Panthers and Eagles defensive players during practice and warm ups prior to the game. I instantly got excited and remember thinking that this guy is the real deal. I didn't know much about him at that time but that video instantly sold me . I was extremely impressed at his approach to coaching , that he had a natural ability to coach at the highest level. He was born for this His scheme, coaching and ability to identify the right players for his scheme is phenomenal imo , as well as identifying the correct staff to teach this and i feel we hit a home run with McD as HC and Frazier as DC. The numbers weren't good last year but stats don't tell the full story in many situations. McD had to completely rebuild this defense! Only 3 starters from the Ryan defense will likely remain - Kyle,Hughes and Lorax. That's 8 new starters on defense from when he was hired, 2 seasons, pretty incredible ! Secondary S - The Best safety duo no longer resides in Seattle .. Hyde and Poyer proved they are studs and fit this scheme like a glove. I don't even think it's an argument that there is a better S duo in the league than the one in Buffalo. And the scary part? They should only get BETTER!! That was year 1 , on a totally revamped secondary , and one of the worse pass rushes in the NFL. They can be much better when you factor in all this. CB - This context is important - Buffalo lost their Top CB in FA and traded Darby who was expected to takeover as the #1 CB last year and didn't re sign our #3 CB in Robey. Going into TC almost everyone thought CB and secondary in general would be a huge weakness , possibly worse in the league. Now along with the best S duo we have a #1 that looks like he's going to be a TOP 5 CB for the next decade. To do what he did as a rookie is just so rare for a CB. Lattimore played just as well but Tre was the #1 on a secondary that had ZERO returning starters! Lattimore also had a significantly better pass rush. Both will be Elite but I think Tre will have a better career. I think Tre is the next Revis... We could have re signed but didn't even offer our #2 and 3 CB, replacing Gaines with a very very good CB in Davis. Been a #1 his whole career, if he can return to form , we likely have the best secondary in the NFL. The nickel is up for grabs but like Gaines, we didn't even try to retain Johnson, so McD feels we can upgrade both. FRONT 7 Edmunds , Murphy , Star , Phillips and my sleeper Julian Stanford are all new additions that should have a big impact on the front 7. Our only significant loss on the front 7 was Preston Brown, who we didn't even make an offer to . Reliable but average at best and consistently got picked on in coverage. We're replacing him with a rookie who should at least be an upgrade over Brown and has the potential to be a legit generational talent at MLB. Milano next to him in the nickel is one helluva combination. Lorax is penciled in as the other starter but don't be surprised if Stanford balls out and starts at some point . Depth could be a concern but Lorax-Edmunds-Milano is a big upgrade over last years week 1 starters in Lorax-Brown- Humber. Humber , Stanford coming off the bench. Finally the DL , which had zero significant losses and added 3 likely contributors in Star , Murphy and Dirty Harry. Hughes numbers were not very good but if you watch him play , he's as good as he was when he signed his contract. He just didn't have much help at all but with Star and Murphy I expect his numbers to skyrocket . We also have very good depth at DL , have two legit rota Murphy-Kyle-Star-Hughes is significantly better than overweight Lawson-Adolphus-Kyle-Hughes. We now have Lawson,Lorax , Yarborough as depth at DE and Adolphus and Phillips as DT depth. McD can get very creative with the front 7 now . Edmunds, Milano,Lorax and Stanford can all rush the passer too, McD can add a bunch of new wrinkles to his defense now. .
