  1. Well I see your point clearly, but based on their performance in year one , I can see 9-10 wins , next year we'll be legit contenders but I think we did good this off-season and have more depth than we get credit for. Defense- DL- loses Zero impact players. Add 3 potential impact players, imo , in Murphy, the rookie and Star (his stats won't show his impact on this scheme). LB - Loses One impact player. Adds 1 impact player. If Available, Edmunds is going to make Preston look like an amateur. Hopefully Milano and Vallejo progress. DB - Loses One impact player. Adds 2 impact players. Davis is a perfect fit. Heady, aggressive , pro bowl corner in a simple scheme, don't be surprised to see a Pro Bowl Davis. Gaines is just not available enough. And one of Bush (underrated signing) and one of the two rookies can definitely have impacts. We had injuries last year, they said the same negative comments. The team overcame it. I'll do the offense later but depth is improved over last year on a 9 win team , on Defense at least. As far as WR, we lost zero impact guys imo. Thompson was very unreliable. If KB is healthy, that instantly bolsters the WR corps big time. RB is improved. OL is worrisome but there's a nice mix of vets and younger guys, hopefully they get as a unit. Things overall look better than last year and we won 9. I don't think we should lower our expectations based on the same arguments we were making last Off Season!! This staff is the real deal.
  2. Before this year, with no Kyrie, Hayward, if u we're to say Boston would be in Finals, that'd sound crazy. Talented, yes but the coaching and discipline instilled is the key to their success. Before the year nobody even knew of Rozier,Brown and Tatum being studs. Their team first mentality was instilled since off-season and is paying off big right now
  3. So I'm watching week 8 Red Zone replay on NFL Network. It was the Raiders game, at home. We were definitely the less talented team, but definitely the more prepared and focused as far as the fundamentals of the game. Hausch Money causing a fumble for example, shows me that coaching smartly instilled and took time on the D and ST forcing fumbles,it's a game changing play after all , tackling and assignments clearly being better executed better by Buffalo. The details, intangibles and team work were impeccable by Buffalo against superior talent and they get a comfortable Win. A limited Tyrod is throwing to Zay, Matthews And Andre Holmes (who got his 3rd TD and made a cpl impressive catches) , who I still have hopes could be effective , did he get injured at some point? He has potential for real. Besides Shady , who imo is the best player on the field, period, we were outmatched but we're coached right and play as one, it was too easy of a Win. Anyway, to me , coaching clearly won this game comfortably and New Era is officially back as one of the tougher stadiums to win in. Just like Boston, with perceived limited talent, they are using superior coaching , like they did all year, to win the majority of games, focusing on the basics and intagibles of the game, something McD preaches consistently and I love it. Overall imo we improved from last year , besides OL , we're better or equal at every other group and we still have the X Factor on the sideline, a guy I feel will be around a Long Long time. So don't be surprised if we improve on our record , despite the mainly low expectations from most of the football community. AJ or if Allen beats him out, will be as good or better at QB.
  4. I'm very optimistic and like you said, will make our back 7 that much better. Hoping Adolphus and Shaq step up and reach their potential and we got a great rotation on our hands..
  5. That 2nd half of the Senior Bowl was great , after a rough start . The more I watch and listen to guys who've been around the game their whole lives described him as unbelievable, special, etc . It really gets me thinking we got an absolute steal. Many reports claim Cle was pro Allen on one and it created a little rift with the staff. I think we got a steal when it's all said and done
  6. Wow that was an amazing watch. He is probably the first QB of the internet heavy era talked about so openly with words like jaw dropping, amazing , unreal ,etc.. Guys who have been around the game their whole lives are blown away by the kid. This got me pumped, thx for sharing
  7. To me there's no value of where you draft a QB, if he's a projected late rounder but can be a franchise guy and goes in the first,it's a win . If he's a projected first and you grab him in the 3rd and busts, well ,you just wasted a 3rd rounder and take a L. The diversity of grades , ranging from A to D- show what most of us already know, and that is we know Nothing about how successful these draft picks will be, including these self proclaimed experts.
  8. We're going to have a ton of spending cash and not many of our own FA to sign. 18 was the most important draft in forever. 19 will be one of the most FA periods in franchise history.
  9. I forgot Fournette too! I really think he's fairly overrated. Jax did very well in his absence And he's not much of a threat in the pass game.
  10. Good call. Still ,White has to be one of the 5 rookies I would think.
  11. Shouldn't be on list period. And NFL said 5 rookies made list.. Lattimore already named Kamara Hunt Reuben Foster? White deserves to be on that list
  12. Jordan Palmer who has now worked with a bunch of young QBs seems to have had a huge impact on Josh Allen, look no further than that 2nd half of the Senior Bowl , but if a part time mentor can make changes to his game, I think that showed this staff that his tremendous upside can be reached. I'll leave a few videos, but man I'm loving this pick, I think we got the best QB and will be running the AFC East sooner than later. The kid has freakish skills and is COACHABLE. Suprised not many have pointed out the impact Palmer has had on his game, you can hear his confidence in Allen over Darnold too imo. Only time will tell but I think we got our franchise guy!
  13. This draft can literally make us an elite team for the next decade, huge implications ride on this draft. I'd also add Neal to that list. Doubt he starts but I think he'll have a major contribution in sub packages, playing multiple positions. I'll say it again about Edmunds- he is going to be a feared , special talent. If Allen works out , we'll be looking back at this draft for many years , as the 3 days that changed everything for our beloved Bills, as well as the hiring of McBeane, who we hit a home run on!
  14. I feel the same way. We might be looking back at this draft in 3-4 years as the one that propelled the Bills to a consistent , elite AFC contender. Edmunds was a robbery, going to be a terror on this D and if Allen is the real deal , we're set
  15. Exactly. Beane and the staff have a clear vision of what it takes to be consistent winners in this league and I have a ton of confidence in their decision making. Last year was impressive to say the least and I expect this roster to be an upgrade and next year to be SB contenders after all that dead cap is gone. We're in good hands
  16. I actually love the pick. I'm all about building on your strengths, remember , the secondary shined with very little pressure from our DL. We showed that up in FA and now add a potential instant starter at ncb. Every team has holes! It's the nature of the game. I love that we are building on one of our biggest strengths, year 2 , I expect this secondary to be scary good.
  17. True but they had a ton of designed roll outs as well and took advantage of his freakish ability to produce on the run. He's as naturally gifted as a QB I've seen, it's all about him putting in the work to take his game to the next level. I don't think this staff would have taken him if they had any doubt whatsoever that he's not going to work his butt off . I see Jamarcus Russell and Ryan Leaf jokes but that couldn't be more inaccurate, they were lazy, privileged rookies in toxic locker rooms. this kid is going to be in a wonderful locker room imo and going to work his butt off. I see more Carson Wentz than Leaf or Russell and it's not even close.
  18. I swear he reminds me of Aaron Rodgers when he's slinging that ball effortlessly on the run.
  19. I CAN'T STAND THIS ARGUMENT YOU CAN LITERALLY SAY THE EXACT SAME THING ABOUT THE 31 OTHER TEAMS . JUST LAZY AND IGNORANT ARGUMENT
  20. WR is not as bad as everyone thinks. First off , Taylor made his WR look bad , I'm giving Zay a pass and KB was clearly injured. Streater is intriguing. Clay and Shady have a huge impact in the pass game. Dabol is cut from the NE cloth and will utilize our weapons similarly. I know it looks bad on paper but I'm optimistic about WR/TE/RB . Been studying Allen for a few hours, boy does he rdmind me of Rodgers with his ability to throw on run.
  21. Extremely difficult But didn't Wentz have similar concerns? I know there are countless others who didn't pan out but it's definitely possible and this staff must be very confident they can correct those issues.
  22. I agree , it's no secret accuracy was his biggest knock. I can't explain why , but I know I've never felt this confident in our talent evaluators and they must be very confident they can work on that flaw. Every QB had flaws, they obviously feel his is fixable and I have complete faith in their judgement. The upside is undeniable...
  23. Good call.. I really think he's going to be a quality QB. I think he was their first QB on big board.
