Joe B. & Evan (Jets Radio) on GMFB
JerseyBills replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know Joe Bs brother very well. He has a very successful tire shopbin Garfield, NJ and an auto body shop as well. great great guy. I've met Joe a couple times , he's a great dude too . Just wanted to shout out Beningos Tires and Joe B for being one of the most underrated radio hosts in the NYC market -
Ed Oliver versus Lamar in 2017 . Wow..
JerseyBills replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Best you ever seen huh? That makes me excited, I respect your opinion. I think he can be a generational talent and so unique in size , speed and athleticism. He's a bad dude. To have a DT , coming right up the middle dominate consistently makes our defense special. This kid is a phenomenal talent. He changed the whole game last week , 12th game ever , prime time on Thanksgiving, in his state , he dominated and caused Dallas fits -
Bucky Brooks :Lessons from Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson
JerseyBills replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Allen is a Stud already . Bottom Line. Kid is a TRUE FRANCHISE QB! We've been waiting a Long Time . Feels amazing that we found our guy for the next decade + , after experiencing such a brutal 15 years of disappointment. -
Ed Oliver versus Lamar in 2017 . Wow..

I agree. Feel he's the most important DL and his quickness up the middle is rare! If he can get consistent pressure, he can ruin that gameplan. I feel Shaq is the next important DL. He's excellent versus the run. Can also play DT and when these guys get pressure, they free up two studs in Edmunds and Milano and our amazing S duo I believe Lawson, Hughes and Lorax were only defenders on roster when Roman was here..Crazy -
This kid can single handedly ruin that gameplan! Wow .. I understand this is the NFL but Rare to see a rookie DT be playing at the level Oliver has been playing and starting to think he can consistently dominate , and that'd be a nightmare for Offenses and add another dimension to an already Elite defense. Thinking his rare speed an athleticism is something Lamar wasn't used to in college, if he can have a repeat performance, things can get ugly in Buffalo!!! Edit - if you can't see full tweet, Oliver had 6 tackles, 3 tfl , 2 sacks and 1 FF. Not to far off from last week at Dallas. Kid can be special and a game changer

John Brown to crowd surf next
JerseyBills replied to benderbender's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ya he was a one year rental in Bmore but I'm sure he'd love to light them up. Cole was in Dallas his whole career , so glad Brown is a Bill though , he looks like a #1 WR to me. Elite speed, fantastic routes and a great locker room guy . We got him for an absolute steal on that contract. Absolutely -
Ya for sure. I mean I've maybe seen 8 -10 of his full game highlights , so I'm in no way qualified on the matter, and hate when other fan bases judge Allen without watching all the games , but that was my biggest takeaway, that he struggles with progressions and reading the field from the pocket. Credit to the coaching and Lamar for using his freakish athletic ability and vision running to set him up with easy reads and the most dominant run game we've seen in years
-
He makes beautiful reads in the run game. If you shut down their run game , they have no chance with Lamar having to throw 30+ times for example, which is going to happen sooner than later
-
Yes I realize. This is purely off the eye test , he is usually throwing to his first read , usually off play action. Their dominant run game makes life very very easy for Lamar. I just don't think he's close to the same level as Allen reading the field in the pass gm. Interested to see how he'll do without Roman
-
I don't think Lamar is close to Allen or most QBs in general ability to read the field and go through progressions , he has no pocket presence and is purely dominating off athletic ability and a perfect marriage to Greg Roman who will likely get HC offers this offseason. Even with the MVP like season , I'd take Allen all day as my franchise qb . I don't know how sustainable his style is, he is atrocious at making reads and everything is smoke and mirrors in their offense but just executing at a super high level.

I CAN'T WAIT til the Ravens come to Buffalo
JerseyBills replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is . But it will be figured out just like in the WC game last year against SD. The problem is teams don't have the personnel to stop it. I believe our elite , world class Safety duo and Edmunds / Milano athleticism and execution will slow them down considerably. I think we match up with them defensively as well as any team in the game -

Without a deep , confusing and successful run game, Lamar is incapable of winning a game passing without the run Bottom line -

They face a better version of Lamar everyday. -

But they're a gimmick offense!! Am I lying??? We have the LB/S/CB personnel to consistently remind them of that! -

You can take All that away. I LOVE our defensive personnel versus their offensive personnel. Straight up -

I respectfully disagree. They are nothing like those teams. They had world class QBs in their prime. This is a great GIMMICK offense, and our back 7 has the pieces to stifle them, Consistently -
I'm saying it now, Lamar and Roman are going to struggle heavily with our back 7. Look, I'm not going to take anything away from Lamar right now but once their scheme is figured out, ala vs SD Wildcard weekend last year , I don't see him being able to recover from that and I'm certain our defensive personnel is their kryptonite. That's when you'll see Poyer/Hyde/Tre/Edmunds/Milano at their best, our back 7 is phenomenal and after we handle them at home , they'll be praying they don't cross our paths in the playoffs. We have the personnel to shut them down on a consistent basis. And like alot of Bills fans , I'm taking the Lamar love and Josh snub a little personal. I think we have the superior QB , I think when the 4th quarter hits and we wrecked Lamars running ability, he's going to FOLD like a lounge chair and I truly believe Allen is going to rise. I respect Baltimore heavily but I truly think Buffalo is their antedote. We are built to shut them down. And if the offense keeps progressing to the level I think it's capable of, sky is the limit. SB or Bust, ya I said it!!!

Which Bills are you voting for? (Probowl)
JerseyBills replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe statistically but their chemistry and the way they can disguise coverage is just phenomenal , imo they are playing at the highest level of any S duo . They allow this pass D to accomplish so much -
Chris Harris fires negative shots toward Josh Allen.

Oh yes, he is now part of the Josh Allen highlight reel for Life. Gotta Love it! You know Josh and the offense were aware of the comments and absolutely Smoked HIM!
