I wasn't impressed with Pitt versus an inferior Cardinal team. That game tape really calmed my nerves. Their O is bad bad. They had a ST return TD. Murray threw a brutal pick on Pits 2 yard line as well as 2 more Rookie ints and it was basically a neutral field with all the Steeler fans I see this game going like the Denver gm. 20-6 or something like that

No Defensive/Special Teams Touchdowns
JerseyBills replied to wiseman3's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just keep getting turnovers and they'll come! Hopefully this D can heat up with the turnovers heading into the playoffs. -
You also have to remember he caught under 50 passes in his college career! Mostly due to scheme. So this is his first season in years where he is getting multiple targets per game, at the next level . He's a star in the making I think. Very good blocker too. I think Beans did it again and snatched our future #1 RB and TE in the 3rd round of the same draft!

He also made a game changing play with a defender draped all over him. We got 8 points that drive. Those drops were bad and potentially cost us points but he's a rookie. His future looks extremely bright and a guy that could be a franchise TE if he keeps improving

Week 15: Bills at Steelers on SNF
JerseyBills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think we handle them like we did Dallas. Just dominate and take advantage of their aggressiveness. Allen and Daboll saw it today , learn from it. Actually I see this being more like the Denver game. This D holds them under 10 points -
Patriot's fans are upset with the officiating.

kemba◀️kyrie (@trepherd) Tweeted: 3 pictures of the bull#### calls that ***** over pats, Gilmore would’ve gotten a huge amount of yards if not a touchdown. Dorsett gets held before he can even catch the ball (no pass interference). Lastly Harry they said stepped out but it was obviously a touchdown... ***** refs https://t.co/tU19QBxdLf So basically they're finally getting treated like every other team? Including us today, at Home too Edit - can't lie, they did get screwed, but do did we today I felt -
Ravens are better team, but Bills aren't far behind.

I'd be cautiously optimistic seeing them in the divisional round. Very very winnable gm -

I agree. I think a pissed off Bills team needs to really take it to Pit and show we're superior. -
It's actually huge. We luck out big time as far as playoffs because Ten plays Hou , both 8-5 , twice. So one is guaranteed to have 10 ws Max and we hold tiebreaker. Basically as long as we win 1 of the next 3 , we're in but I view Pitt as inferior and feel we should win and also gives us hope at the division. Very big game for both teams

How about MVP Lamar Jackson today?
JerseyBills replied to ToGoGo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I completely. Look at Pat Mahomes, a guy literally taken with our draft pick , and a guy I would say is absolutely the real deal and a QB I see being top 5-10 minimum for a decade+. If anything , that's much more to be jealous about . But I never viewed Bills fans as jealous , we're humble and knowledgeable. I watch Lamar and see a guy that has SEVERE difficiences in the pass game. I mean, he can't read a field or go through progressions at anywhere near a high level. His scheme and running ability allow him to make one quick read. If he has to sit back and evaluate the field, go through progressions and manipulate safeties, I think he'd be a bottom 5 QB , no doubt. -
Don't mind loss. We beat ourselves imo.

How about MVP Lamar Jackson today?
JerseyBills replied to ToGoGo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Our TE dropped a crucial pass that was perfect. Likely at least get 3 that drive. WR had few ugly drops too and a brutal, just atrocious missed p.i really cost us Which is why I'm not too upset , I now know we can beat the Ravens , the supposed top dogs in the AFC. We beat ourselves. -
How about MVP Lamar Jackson today?

Exactly. Literally every game I've seen him in I felt this way. Despite the hype machine behind him , I can't help but trust my eyes and knowledge. -

Still feel he's going to flame out within 3 years. He is awful at reading field, going through progressions. One read QB that also has play action as his crutch. -
Bucky Brooks :Lessons from Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson
JerseyBills replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ya but Brooks ego never striked me as inflated , like many others, especially the analytic guys, they seem to just be in straight denial that their projections were sooo far off. They are the WORSE. Especially that Football Outsider guy Brooks nailed this article too. -
Devin Singletary vs Leveon Bell 2019 Stats
JerseyBills replied to DefenseWins's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yup . Just another example of how rare and special that rushing attack is. We have to somehow turn Lamar into a passer by any means necessary. Turnovers is key. TFL/Sacks are key on early downs. Anyway to get them to 2nd/3rd and long .Our O getting off to a quick start is key as well. Tough task for sure , hope our O continues to look impressive -
