  1. So the job they did in holding Miami to that paltry 212 yards in the first meeting is no reflection on Frasier, but yesterday’s game tells his whole story. Got it.
  2. Gimme smart, prepared, and attention to detail every time.
  3. Frazier’s defense held the Miami offense to their season low 212 total yards while missing key starters, including both safeties. I guess you missed that game.
  4. “The refs made us lose.” There is not a more time honored loser’s lament.
  5. Playing not to lose? Really? What the Bills did in the final seconds of the game is the very definition of playing to win.
  6. Any team, any sport, any field or court of play; any fan that throws anything onto the field or court, or at the bench or even at another fan is a total idiot and should be banned for life. It’s stupid and unacceptable on every level. Full stop.
  7. That’s why what Motor did was so strategic; it forced Miami to burn their last TO instead of us kicking off to Miami with 30 seconds left and them still having that TO on offense. The decision not to score took away any control Miami might hope to have.
  8. Ask Nick Chubb if he thinks Motor made the right decision.
  9. Anyone criticizing Motor for that decision in that game situation, either didn’t see the latest example of why you do what Motor did when Nick Chubb screwed the pooch vs the Jets this season or they have ZERO understanding of game management. In that game situation, Motor did exactly what was called for. Textbook. And I respect that he countered every instinct in his body to do it because RBs are conditioned to get the ball over the goal line and score.
  10. McD is wont to give a guy another chance, but he is equally wont to glue a guy to the bench for mistakes. But that is for physical errors mostly. What Lewis did was an egregious mental gaffe. I’d be surprised if he sees the field again this season.
  11. He is the real deal with in every sense of the word.
  12. Josh Allen decided he was gonna take over and win this game. 75 yard march to tie the score followed by an 86 yard march to win it. Tip of the hat to Tua, who played great. But he shoulda been taking notes watching Josh. Please don’t ever let us take him for granted.
  13. Him and Don Nottingham used to kill us back in the day.
  14. Bills had 9 tackles for losses that night as well. Nine. That is rare in a single game these days. Taking nothing away from Harris’s 64 yard jaunt, but that was the only running play that hurt us. In other words, 45 out of their 46 running plays were fairly ineffective.
  15. Laws of physics? I have no idea where the idea of defying the laws of physics came in here. I was merely making the point that Columbus had a couple thousand years of tried and true sailing knowledge to draw from when doing his voyage whereas space exploration has virtually none by comparison. If you are arguing the defiance of the laws of physics with someone else, have at it, but I have no interest in that subject.
  16. Columbus had a couple thousand years of sailing technology and ocean voyaging knowledge at his disposal before his voyage. We have a little over 60 years when it comes to space exploration by comparison. Barely a molecule, let alone a drop in the bucket by comparison.
  17. Recovery time for the ACDF surgery he had is 6-9 months so as to allow the bone to properly fuse. He is not even at the low end of that spectrum yet as the six month mark would be late March. I just can’t see his or any other doctor even considering giving him the green light before then.
  18. Well, Mr. Saleh, that just may be the problem: Zach Wilson is the same QB he was in college but he is now in the NFL. He isn’t playing college scrubs any more.
  19. Wilkins grabs the package from either direction, whether he’s over the top of the pile or under the pile. So I’ll bet both the over and the under.
  20. As explained to me by an engineer who actually performs this kind of analysis for structural design all over the world, the biggest contributor to creating the swirling wind effect at the stadium is the wall of seats at the tunnel end that is perpendicular to the prevailing winds out of the west. The wind swoops down from the scoreboard end crashes into the tunnel end and can only dissipate sideways. The last time I tried to explain that here, I was shouted down and told the engineer didn’t know what he was talking about. But I trust his analysis.
  21. Fair point. I know Josh can rip it thru the wind straight at it, but that stadium tends to swirl at field level and in all my years there, I’ve never seen any QB master the cross wind. From Namath to Elway to Marino to Kelly to Josh, they’ve all succumbed to that dreaded cross wind in that stadium. If it’s gotta be windy, I’d love to see a nice steady left to right wind towards the tunnel.
  22. I guess Chicago, Cleveland, Cinnci, Pittsburg, Boston, and every other outdoor northern “weather city” (whatever the F that means) shouldn’t have teams as well. If the weather is in the heads of Phin players and coaches half as much as its in the heads of their fans and pundits, good for us.
