  1. Love the Bonnies. Have since the Bob Lanier, Bill Butler days. I still haven’t forgiven Chris Ford! That said, I like all the Little 3/Big 4 teams and root for them. When it’s head to head, I gotta go with my Golden Griffins, though.
  2. Bills gotta win tomorrow or this will have been one of the worst Buffalo sports weekends in a while.
  3. Gugny would.
  4. I’d say things are snowballing already. PHam just said 6 goals in 9 games. Anemic. That simply won’t win games.
  5. Refs doing everything they can to deny us this game. Thank goodness Toronto overturned that egregious “no goal” call. What the flying F are these refs looking at? That said, we are definitely regressing back to our mean over the last half dozen games or so. To put it mildly, we are offensively challenged and, like last year, if our top line isn’t driving possession and scoring, we have little to no chance. And that little Russian douche Kucherov should be suspended for that cheap shot on Sobotka. The more I look at it, the more dirty it is. Shades of Marchand.
  6. The hockey Gods demand retribution for the cheap shot Kucherov just gave Sobotka. Blatant interference well after Sobotka shot the puck and the ref was too much of a p***sy to blow the whistle. I hope Risto makes Kucherov swallow his own stick. Screw this ref. Calls interference on Dahlin after totally missing the more blatant penalty on Kucherov. Ref has money on TAMPA. That’s the only explanation.
  7. Using inverse logic, this must mean that Kitchens is doing the least with the most.
  8. I like a omelette widda egg in it.
  9. Incredibly bad play calling. When you have 35 yards to go for a game winning field goal shot with 1:03 on the clock and all three time outs, you have your entire playbook at your disposal. A draw or two would have slowed down that rush a bit, for instance.
  10. That’s a dim bulb.
  11. We could have had Watson and Mahomes?! Who knew?!
  12. He needs to go to mustache school. That was NOT a handlebar mustache before he shaved it; it was a fu manchu. Which he didn’t deserve, either.
  13. Well, if you’re not able to put those feelings aside, you’re in for a lot of rough patches in this world.
  14. It’s not always cut and dried though. As we saw vs. Philly, their winning was definitely a function of running the ball. I’ll just leave it at preferring balance, regardless. One dimensional offenses make it too easy for DCs to counter.
  15. I think that’s exactly what it means. Running the ball has always been a time honored way to protect leads and win games, after all. Passing is the quickest way to get a lead to protect. Still have to be in manageable down/distance situations, regardless.
  16. Haha. Not my intent at all. I wonder, though, if a religious fundamentalist would have an issue playing for a coach who is atheist.
  17. Seeing as there are only two 6-2 teams, I prefer to think of us as being the second best as opposed to the worst.
  18. That’s exactly what the old saying, “pass to score, run to win” means. Pass to put up points early, get a lead, and run the ball to protect it late.
  19. I didn’t read the article, but it sounds like a semantics issue to me.
  20. Pass to score, run to win as the old adage goes.
  21. My post was a joke, so I’m not sure what you’re getting at here. Do you think I was “trying real hard” to make you look bad?
  22. I’d say the same about most shared experiences in pursuit of a common cause.
  23. The ‘Skins’ two DTs play with exceptional leverage; absolutely textbook. If a coach ever wants to teach what “low man wins” really means in the game of football, he need go no further than showing the video of those two tackles in short yardage and goal line situations. And they do that to most opposing OLs they face.
