I agree. I don’t think it will be with us, either. Unless he REALLY likes it here and REALLY likes the role he’s asked to play. But I think some team is gonna offer higher end starting DT money and expect him to be an every down player as a result. I’m not convinced that he is.

He’s gonna get PAID in free agency.

None of the rest of it matters if he doesn’t. If he’s still haunted by his substance abuse ghosts and isn’t managing them as required, then I submit he is incapable of the requisite football character required.

I’ve evolved as a fan over the years. Started out as a simple table top model on my way to becoming a three speed box type and then to an oscillating pedestal stand. Being a ceiling fan was just never in the cards for me.

Sorry, Kelly, but there is no putting a happy face on that sorry display by Gilmore on that play. For crissakes, Hogan wasn’t even in the end zone when Gilmore began pointing fingers. Most knowledgeable fans knew it wasn’t his fault given the coverage they were in. It was obviously a blown coverage by his safety. But you simply can’t start pointing fingers while the play is still in progress. The right thing to do is discuss it on the sidelines afterwards. I don’t care how frustrated a player is, it’s a bad look and reflects poorly on the player.

Ed Ames throwing, Johnny Carson is the other guy. Well done. Bills Mafia is so much more than the table jumpers, etc. It’s meeting free agents at the airport with Buffalo wings or raising a few hundred thousand for Andy Dalton’s charity. And a whole lot more.

Gase is not an honest broker so I can’t see Darnold or the rest of that team actually wanting to play for him if things continue on the present course.

That’s a fair concern. And until they do beat winning teams, they won’t be considered legit contenders.
