Should I do haiku When limericks are more fun No way goddamnit

For crissakes. I’ve been deliberately doing limericks in the Miami haiku threads for 20 years now and nobody ever said a thing. Now I get two poem police in a week. Haiku is boring, limericks are always more fun.

I’m enjoying the hell out of the ride as well; it’s about the journey after all. But I’ll never predict a SB win when I know how much work needs to be done and how that weirdly shaped ball can take some funny bounces. But I won’t predict doom and gloom, either. And none of this is in our control, anyway.

I’m a big fan of unbridled optimism as well. Much better than the insufferable pessimists around here. It takes no courage at all to invest in negative outcomes. It’s a win win for those cowards.

I think that depends. If it turns into yet another situation where Tua is stinking up the joint but there’s no Fitz waiting to bail them out as he has frequently this season, then I can see where that might get in their heads a little. And that can snowball if Tua starts pressing.

I believe that’s how it’s defined by the CDC. Perhaps the league simply adopted that guideline. And with these location bracelets the players wear, data is compiled regarding who you’ve been close to and for how long and where.

Of course. I was just joking. Perhaps the best example is Roscoe Parish in his first year here. Went to sleep in his OP townhouse with no snow on the ground and woke up to two feet plus of overnight lake effect accumulation and his car buried under drifts. He was literally too afraid to go outside, let alone drive in it and he had to be chauffeured by one of his teammates with a 4x4 to get to practice this day.
