  1. Jordan Johnson - Would give the Bills three RB's to go along with FB Tolbert and H Back Demarco Austin Rehkow - He Punts, kicks off and in a pinch can kick FG's and XP's. His versatility should make him a keeper Jason Croom - Unless we sign Barnidge we're really thin after Clay
  2. Just a guess but I think the next unemployed vet QB to sign a contract will be Fitz. Romo = too brittle Cutler = He don't care Kaepernick = QB'ing takes a backseat to protesting Fitz = turnover machine with experience RGIII = Ruined by Shanahan
  3. That's GOLD, Jerry ! GOLD !! As cba fan posted ... This has train wreck written all over it, should be fun.
  4. I don't know about all of you but that slogan made think about pulling the credit card out of my wallet.... But in the end, it doesn't even matter.
  5. Barnidge would be a solid pickup as we really have nobody on the roster other than Clay, who has knee and back issues. Barnidge would be a solid #2 or starter if necessary. Blount would be great on the goal line or for short yardage but isn't that what Tolbert is for ? Getting a vet WR now wouldn't be a bad idea. You just never know if Sammy is fully healthy or for how long he'll be healthy and Starting a rookie and Holmes likely won't cut it. Boldin or VJax would be solid options but Cruz IMO is done and Floyd has been a disappointment. Sign Barnidge ... If Sammy isn't 100%, sign a vet backup.
  6. I have a feeling this could be the shortest GM interview in the history of the NFL. Russ: What will you do to make this team better ? Beane: I'll assemble a great team of scouts and we'll get the players Coach McDermott wants Russ looks at Pegula and nods Terry: Do you want the job ? Beane: Yes Russ: First we have to satisfy the Rooney rule ... we'll have overlord draw up the contract. Oh by the way, do you know someone we could use, I mean interview ? Beane: Yeah, Don Gregory, I'll call him for you.
  7. That list contains an awful lot of former Bills. We could get back Rambo, Byrd and the backle specialist Donte Whifner.
  8. Meh ... the side mirrors are broken $ 8100 is the top bid as of the date of the article
  9. The only mock draft I've seen for 2018 has us passing on Darnold at #7. I seriously doubt that McDermott has any desire to tank his first year as a HC. I also doubt that Kyle Williams came back for a tank season. The QB that looks the best this spring and plays the best this summer will be the starting QB, my guess is that is Tyrod.
  10. Doug ... Can you believe we're both unemployed and Russ still has a job ? Tim ...... But Russ knows what he's doing ... Doug and Tim laughing ...
  11. That's probably because he was still concussed, once he recovered from the concussion he was afraid to get hit.
  12. Beane should be strongly considered for the GM job. If he is brought in, it's because McDermott knows him and feels comfortable with him going forward. The fact he once played QB should be beneficial as he knows or should know what offensive talent looks like. Being an NFL GM is akin to being the top scout of college players, scouting players on other teams practice squads and scouting free agents. Beane would make sense for the job.
  13. This is my guess as well. I think that when McDermott was hired Whaley was told to report to him. I'd be surprised if Beane isn't named the new GM.
  14. Teens - 20's - went to large parties as often as possible. Great place to meet girls and being under the influence of alcohol and things didn't hurt at all 30's - parties were less often and fewer people. Emphasis was more on food and blender drinks than outright debauchery. 40's - parties became rare and mostly just a few couples, grilling, hot tubbing and wine. 50's - A party is having a beer a shot of Agwa and a smoke with my neighbor.
  15. That guy from NC that won twice, his son played for the Bills .... Jonathan Linton Watkins Jones Holmes Brown Listenbee Tate
  16. With the 1st round trade 1. Marcus Williams - S - Utah 2. Tim Williams - Edge - Alabama 3. Chad Williams - WR - Grambling St 3. Joe Williams- RB - Utah 5. Damontae Kazee - CB - San Diego St 5. Nathan Peterman - QB - Pitt 5. Brad Kaaya - QB - Miami 6. Marquez Williams - FB - Miami, Ohio Needed a few more Williams' in the 5th but there weren't any more available soI took a CB and a couple QBs.
  17. I assume that both McCoach and MR. Beane have destroyed their phones by now.
  18. 1. Deshaun Watson - QB - Clemson 2. Zay Jones - WR - E. Carolina 3. Cordrea Tankersley - CB - Clemson 5. Roderick Johnson - OT - Florida St 5. Elijah Lee - LB - Kansas St 5. Lorenzo Jerome - S - St Francis Pennsylvania 6. Bucky Hodges - TE - Virginia Tech With no trades and picking where we were slotted.
  19. He's involved insofar as that he's the Pegula's most trusted advisor, if they have a question they ask his opinion and trust him enough to generally follow it (Rex hiring) Brandon and I believe Overdorf have been a part of this team as long as this streak of futility, I'm not saying that it's all their fault but they certainly are a part of the problem. Cut ties with both of them and we can collectively wash our hands of this near two decades worth of suckitude.
  20. What happened to Elijah Lee, the LB from Kansas St ? ... I thought he'd go in the 3rd or 4th round.
  21. Lorenzo Jerome would be my choice as well ... That kid had a helluva senior bowl and can flat out play.
  22. In the 5th round I'd love to see an OLB and a Safety. If Peterman or Kaaya were available I'd take one of them but I doubt either makes it out of the 4th. LB - Elijah Lee (Kansas St) or Vince Biegel (Wisconsin) Safety - Lorenzo Jerome (St Francis) or Josh Harvey-Clemons (Louisville), Too many players will be picked to even think about the 6th yet ... though I wouldn't be shocked to see Whaley trade that pick for a pair of 7ths.
