  1. I couldn’t even celebrate the incompletion as I figured they would’ve thrown a flag. Looked like one to me on the initial watch and I don’t think I ever really watched it in detail. There wasn’t any contact before the ball arrived huh?
  2. 👍🏻 I just think Campbell has elite all pro and I don’t see that with Harmon, but certainly could be wrong.
  3. We said the same thing about playing opposite Tre when we drafted Elam. Draft the best player at “a position of need”. Not “the biggest need” Amen Judkins in rd 2? Or Hampton in rd 1? 😉 let me guess…. Neither! Trade the house for Jeanty!!
  4. The Baltimore Ravens select Bradyn Swinson- edge LSU. we aren’t going to reach for a CB or OG to fill a need. Decosta always goes BPA and does here as well. Oweh, Van Noy are on expiring contracts and Ojabo is not really a football player. Swinson is now under contract for 4 years and is a football player. A good one. @TOboy and the Lions are now on the clock. @TOboy Did you think about Jihaad Campbell over Harmon? I think Washington got the best value and fit pick in this draft landing him.
  5. Considering how this draft fell, I think drafting Nolan would’ve been the best move. I’d rather have Nolan or Burden paired with Porter than Amos and the current options. I’m a huge fan of Amos- but Porter could be a force in our scheme if he can figure things out. Swinson or Landon Jackson would be my pick here. Farmer being the best need pick. edit: as an admitted RB homer- Judkins would be good value at this part of the draft if we planned on moving on from Cook.
  6. Yes - it’s possible. I guess we’ll see what happens. My money is on a slight move up into the mid 20’s or a trade down rather than giving up one of our 2nds
  7. Agree with all but golden. I’d give up a day 3 for him….but I don’t think Beane would. I’m all about Kyle Williams- round 2? Trade down from 62? Trade up into rd 3? Idk if he’s gonna be around in rd 4. Give me Grant (most likely Harmon), Amos (more realistically Porter), Swinson (or Landon Jackson), Kyle Williams (or Thornton) and call it a draft.
  8. 💯 I’d give up day 3 picks for Grant, Barron or Golden if they fall to within reach. Definitely not a 2nd rounder for anyone. 💯 I’d give up day 3 picks for Grant, Barron or Golden if they fall to within reach. Definitely not a 2nd rounder for anyone.
  9. Agreed- but I wouldn’t mind trading a 4th to move up for Grant if he gets into the mid 20’s. Definitely wouldn’t want to trade a 2nd to move up. Ideally I’d love to pick 4-5 times in the first 3 but I really see Grant as the ideal pick for us and would pay 1-2 day 3 picks to make it happen. But you aren’t going to be able to get the top tier guys. They are top 10 picks and there are really only 3-5 of them (imo). Are we going to land Hunter, Carter, Graham or Jeanty? No. So you’re going to get a 2nd 3rd tier guy whether you pick in the teens or at 30. That’s the contending argument.
  10. I realize all of this. He’s a QB with all the tools and well worth a 5th rd pick. I would’ve traded a 4th for him if I were several teams. Including Buffalo (not that Ne would trade him to us imo) we’ve traded away less and received more
  11. We got lucky. The pats got fleeced AND Milton goes to the nfc win win
  12. I love me some Amos- but Hairston physical tools and ability to cover deep is intriguing. Amos is probably the better fit, but he doesn’t really cover deep as well as others. That’s my only scare. If Hairston were 195+ he would be my pick. But he’s not. Amos for me but I wouldn’t hate Nolan or Hairston. Green is intriguing too
  13. I don’t think there’s any question that he’s a good enough of a WR and CB to play both sides. His skill is what makes him so special. I just don’t believe his body is so special that he would be able to do it for very long. Might not even make it a couple games.
  14. I don’t think there’s any question that he COULD play both full time. I also don’t think there’s any question that he would be riddled with injury and his career could take a turn for the worse if he does. Odds are that his body would break down.
  15. Yeah I’m a big fan as well. Hope he ends up in the nfc
  16. Yes- and the dolphins drafted a TE over him. I’m a huge fan of Warren, but 🤦🏻‍♂️ Campbell should be a lock to Miami if he’s there
  17. I think Denver is a possibility- taking another UNC RB 35 overall 4 years ago may alter their thoughts- but Hampton would be awesome in Denver imo.
  18. Impressive for sure. Overall, I just think he loses value for the team that drafts him if he plays WR full time. He can play corner full time while also playing 12-20 snaps on O. If he plays WR full time, does he play any corner? Or do they play at corner on obvious passing 3rd down and 4th downs?
  19. Ravens Lions bears eagles
  20. The bold is my stance in this conversation. So it shouldn’t be odd. If that’s the reason we didn’t win SBs those years, it only makes sense that those players were locks to make plays.
  21. As I said- elite players would increase our chances- but they certainly aren’t locks to make clutch plays and imo, aren’t the reason we haven’t advanced further. Non elite players are certainly capable of making big plays and have throughout history. Yes- Elite players would help
  22. Elite players will improve our chances of winning a Super Bowl. I don’t think the lack of elite players is the reason we lost to KC last season. Or the year before. Or in 2021.
  23. Man, there’s some abomination takes here. We had a great offense and a meh defense. Make a big play on D or a catch on O and we may have been champs. Make plays. Call good plays on O and D. Get some luck with injuries. Did we lose the game because we lacked 1 or 2 elite players? Not imo. We lost because we didn’t make the clutch plays and had some bad luck (Benford, Rapp and every judgement call going against us).
