If you’ve been watching Singletary play, then you would know making 1 guy miss is something he does very well. You’re looking at this in a vacuum where ONLY this one play matters…. Which doesn’t take an Einstein to realize that’s the stupidest rationale one could make. One play in which you highlighted = he can’t make 1 guy miss. Wake up If you can’t connect on a wide open 3 yard out route then you’re not a quality NFL QB.

I agree. But I do think elam has a chance to win the starting job if he significantly outplays Dane this week (if Dane plays). I could see whoever wins the job being subbed out for the other 1-2 drives per game.

Argue? I asked a question. Can you answer the question? I asked about the depth you were talking about, not the starters that you just decided to bring up now. No, I’m not impressed with our OL starters. I stated as much during the offseason. I was hoping they would upgrade our starters more than they did, but the only position that was up in the air after Bates resigning was Saffold. We could’ve done better there. He seems to be a bum. Spencer Brown sucks, but they had committed to him. I thought adding Quessenberry, Van Roten and Mancz were solid depth signings. Quessenberry gave us a possible starter to push Brown or take over for him if he sucks. OL depth in the NFL sucks for every team…. Not just ours. We added two guys that have years of starting experience to be backups. McB decided to bolster the DL instead and they did a helluva job in doing so. Can’t bolster every position group. I agree, I hope that the OL is a focus next year. Josh deserves better protection and the running game needs bigger holes.

So…..which teams OL depth are you impressed with? None? Interesting.

But also a lot to like considering we dominated the game. More than double their yards and 1st downs. Held Hill to 2-30. Really just gave up one big play while having all backups and PS DBs. Rousseau looking dominant. Cook flashed some. The conclusion sucked big time…. But the book wasn’t a bad read considering the unmitigated circumstances.

Happy to see him signed today. Didn’t have a good feeling about it happening if he left town. what’s up with Cam Lewis? Is he strictly a S/slot now? I figured he would’ve taken the snaps at corner over Ingram. Or Neal? Is he strictly slot? Is Ingram really a better option than either of these guys who have been in the system for a few years? Collins isn’t a good fit imo. We don’t need help at Lb. He can’t fill the role that McD\frazier need out of his safety’s. His best bet is to add more weight and hope he can stick as a LB. Jaquan wasn’t nearly that bad
