It’s not a family business but the locker room can be a family. Creating a family type atmosphere within the workplace can go a long way. When you truly care about the man or woman working next to you, you can, and likely will be more productive with the potential to give more effort depending on the profession obv). Building teams has been my career, so I can say that it does matter. You disagree- cool beans. I didn’t mention Super Bowl wins. I said win the Super Bowl. That’s the goal. Poyer can have a greater impact on us winning a Super Bowl than the guy that would’ve have his place on the PS.

Glad ours won’t be black.
-
What a special kid. Beanes 2nd best draft pick. KC got so very lucky these last to playoff games. He’s the difference imo.

I’m concerned about Damar Hamlin and Cole Bishop playing. We don’t know if Bishop can be a viable starter. We already know Damar is below average. Those are 2 of our top 3 safeties. I hate to say it, but there’s a slim possibility that Poyer is better than both of those guys. Unlikely, but possible (sadly). If things go south opposite Rapp (or when Rapp gets injured), after Hancock or Lewis, he can probably give McD what he wants out there better than the other options not on a practice squads. doesn’t seem like we have the money for the guy everyone wants- Justin Simmons. Or maybe there’s more to his situation that we know.

He’s running a football team that he prides on being a family. I’m good with it. I believe the team will benefit more from having Poyer, Phillips and Dane Jackson as the 13th-16th players the practice squad than players that they deem lesser than Latu, Logue and Travis clayton and Hardy. Anyone think any of those 4 guys will have any positive plays for the Bills this season? Win the Super Bowl. I don’t see why anyone would complain about bringing Poyer in as the 16th guy on the PS on this team. It’s mind boggling tbh.

And his receivers catch the ball in that moment. If Diggs and Kincaid can catch the ball on their respective blunder plays, we might have 2 Lombardis
-
Pretty sure everyone on earth agrees. No one is disputing that
-
With no talent around him on offense either. Just Josh, all by himself And our offensive line Yeah- that’s why! 🤣
-
This poast says it all. Thanks

No—— I don’t talk to any nfl vets. The ps rules only changed 5 years ago to include vets. Micah Hyde did it last year- but your loophole is “all season”. we’ll just have to wait and see. Either way. Carry on. I’ll be here to watch you meltdown over PS signings You’ve been here long enough. You should 💯 expect this to happen. Enjoy it bro It’s clear now- so just sit back was watch the show
-
You have no idea how much Micah helped last year. we need talent…..and you expect us to have 16 talented players on the PS that can contribute and play? We’re a perennial Super Bowl contender with very few roster spots up for grabs each year. All 16 spots on the practice squad aren’t strictly to be used for players that may contribute. Some are there possibly play. Some are there to develop with no chance of playing this season. And some are clearly there to mentor. Whether or not some fans think that these mentors help is irrelevant to McD and Beane. Thank god for that. it’s cool man. I’ll sit back and enjoy the show you guys put on

Apologies if I misinterpreted. “This cat”, could only have one meaning in my eyes. I didn’t think the cat was drafting cornerbacks in the first as I don’t think that’s something that “has lives”…. but apparently I’m wrong.
-
Just wondering how many nfl vets you’ve spoken to about this? It’s a nice paycheck. He went from making $0 to $21k a week to do what he loves with people that he loves. Wake up
-
Pretty sure he makes 21k per week on the PS. Do the math. It’s not chump change. He’ll probably get a chance to play if the guys they currently have get injured or show that they suck. I think he’s there to be a locker room guy, help the youngsters and get a ring
-
Agree 💯
-
Because vets hate camp. Especially vets that looked extremely washed last season. It’s my worthless opinion that Beane and Po have been in contact about this prior to signing him and was part of the plan. if he’s signed to the 53 man roster- then 🤦🏻♂️
-
If it’s a roster spot- I agree. If it’s a PS spot- I disagree
-
Is it a dumb dumb dumb signing if he’s signed to the PS to help the young draft investments learn the system, mentor them and be a locker room presence? imo, the PS has many potential uses now. Not just to develop young players.
-
To the PS is my bet
-
LOL. Good grief man. The season hasn’t even started yet. If he was healthy and named the starter…. We’d still have nothing to show for it. He got injured in preseason- he’s sure to be a bust…..and Beane should’ve known he was going to get hurt. He should’ve known “not to play with fire”. The fire that’s a figment of your imagination.
-
No, you didn’t say that. But you wouldn’t be saying that if Hairston didn’t get hurt.
