  1. Hawes is going to be a nice asset for 4 seasons. If he can just be consistent catching the ball, he’ll be in position to make some plays. As long as he’ll take a discount.
  2. I voted Cole Bishop. Just seems like the guy that will always be hurt. Coupled with Brian Thomas Jr solidifying himself as a star, we’ll be reading “I knew Beane should’ve traded up for BTj” all season. Cole Bishop is the pick we would’ve had to trade to get there. If Bishop turns out to be a stud, it will soften the blow. I think he’ll be good….IF he can stay healthy. Would be nice if Hancock can excel at FS and we can roll with Bishop at SS and Hancock FS possibly as soon as next season. Back on topic: Honorable mention- Landon Jackson- he’ll probably be inactive every week after Hoecht returns. Possibly IR’d. Keon- I think he’ll excel and have an arrow up season but I also think he’ll have his share of drops and missed opportunities that many here will not let slide without excessive bashing. James Cook- I don’t think we will sign him prior to the season and nice handful of folks will say “we don’t need him1 ray and Ty are just as good” after every subpar /par game he has. Beane- if the pass rush still sucks and our vertical passing game isn’t effective he’ll get ripped, for good reason. EDIT: I’ve sadly changed my vote to Tre’davious White. He’s going to be picked on relentlessly. I think he’ll have his fair share of nice plays and flashes, but DCs are going to attack him because he’s currently the weakest link on the field. I really hope that he can raise his level of play where he’s seen as a good CB2, but I’m skeptical still. He’s my favorite person on the team other than 17, but he’s got his work cut out for him.
  3. No mention of Bosa, Sanders and Walker. Not surprised. Care to elaborate on what you saw from them?
  4. I really hope to see a lot more passes to the RBs this season.
  5. Watching Frank Gore Jr run, his lack of athleticism really stood out to me. So I looked up his RAS…. Google AI says it’s .60 🤣 He has to be one tough kid to play that position with that level of athleticism
  6. Would be amazing if Sanders and Walker can both live up to their potential. Both have flashed this game. sanders’ move on the TD the Humphrey TD, oh my
  7. Ty Johnson might be my favorite player. He’s dam good
  8. I agree that it’s a weak stache but I give him credit for not giving an eff about looking so dumb.
  9. My main focus will be on the DL. This is the unit we need the most improvement. Hoecht (and where he lines up), Sanders and walker are the guys I’ll be focusing on the most. The backup safeties are next up and they’ll probably be playing ample snaps this season based on Rapp and Bishops style of play/injury history. Not sure what Justin Simmons would take to get into the building, but we probably should’ve brought him in. I’m worried that we might be seeing a lot of the Cam Lewis / Dakar pairing back there this season. Praying that I’m wrong after that, it’ll be interesting to see if any of the WRs (shavers, Gosnell, Wilkerson, Cain or Birgil can elevate their games.
  10. If our D gets blasted again in another season ending loss, I wouldn’t be opposed to moving on as long as we hire a coordinator that is extremely promising or someone with a great resume as a HC. That said, I don’t think Terry would fire McD for at least 2-3 more seasons. I think his job is safe
  11. It doesn’t really matter what YOU want. Tell McD, maybe it’ll help sway him. McDermott just said he’s “tough as nails” and called him a “true Buffalo Bill”. I’m using the word process in the way we’ve been using since McD got here. If you don’t know what a process guy is by now, 🤷🏻‍♂️ Or Dorian Williams.
  12. 🤷🏻‍♂️ no clue, but he’s a gunner on ST and a known process guy.
  13. I agree. Seems like the smart move would be to keep Shavers as Wr5 and place Samuel on IR to start the year and bring him back as late as possible. Theres close to zero percent chance he stays healthy all season, so keep him from getting injured by placing him on IR.
  14. I think he’ll delivery to Keon and Kincaid this year. Palmer is the guy I’m worried about.
  15. At this rate Ray Davis will be our starting RB and we’ll have Terry McClaurin at wide out making 35M at age 30, 31, 32 and no 1st rd pick for 2 seasons.
  16. Tbh there isn’t a guy I regret letting walk. Jerry was my sentimental favorite, but he wasn’t worth (to the Bills) what the Texans gave him. Good teams have to let some good players walk. That’s business
  17. AND not having Benford out there.
  18. Why does he need to do it now?
  19. You seem more like a Love Island guy
  20. Except cook will get more money. Kyren also had 5 fumbles last year and 2(lost 1) vs the eagles in the playoffs and may have cost his team the game.
  21. But he’ll get more money than Kyren. Because he hits home runs and offers a different dimension as a RB. Cook is a bigger threat in all aspects of the offense except for pass blocking. He’s more dynamic with the ball in his hands. Watch. Use your eyeballs to watch them play rather than looking at numbers. Kyren is a very good back. Cook puts a lot more pressure on the defense. That makes him better imo. A true threat to score every time he touches the ball.
  22. He’s a special person. Really happy that he’s on this team and will be mentoring Hairston while also playing a key role on our defense.
