I agree. I hope that WR is our pick rd 1 but it really depends on how the board falls. If a stud DL is there, I suspect he’ll be our pick and then we will trade up in rd 2 to get a WR. Beane has no problems trading up for his guy and it’s a deep WR class. We might be able to double dip in rd 2 and 5 and still get 2 good playmakers while adding a cornerstone pass rusher. He’s a beast and one of the only slot corners that could play McDs style of D the way he wants it done at the level he’s played it. Injuries were a big scare early in his career. I wasn’t sure how he’d hold up after Landry blindsided him during a preseason game his rookie year. He had me fooled. Absolute stud.

I agree that I don’t think he have been difference makers this season, minus a handful of games. That said, I think they could’ve been if they were on different teams and in different schemes. I think both would be up there with the Laportas and Gibbs’ if they had been in Detroit this year and would have excelled more than they did this year if they had been on other teams that used them more
