Trending in that direction but who knows for sure. It’s a fluid situation. Here’s where the “choking” comes into play. This seems to be your biggest hang up with how the 2 are perceived. In 6 season ending losses Josh has a total of 2 ints and 1 FL. 1 int and the 1 FL coming in his first playoff game when he was still an unknown as a QB. In his last 5 season ending losses (since he’s become an elite QB), Josh has 1 int- 0 FL. He hasn’t choked. He hasn’t given any games away. Lamar has done just that in every season ending loss. He continues to give the opponents the ball on the biggest stages. thoughts?

Again- you fail to understand what the term choke means, as you ignore 90% of my post and cherry pick one part you can try and make an argument against (unsuccessfully) The narrative that Lamar is a choke artist in the playoffs has become his narrative because he has earned it by playing poorly in season ending losses year after year. No one made you click on this thread- by all means, feel free to skip over it.

If we win 28-20, I think the defense will get us the win.

He’s a choker because he sucks in season ending losses and his turnovers play instrumental roles in their seasons ending. Josh isn’t a choker because he doesn’t choke. The problem here is obvious. You don’t understand what choking actually is. Here you go: AI can help you out: “In sports, choking is a sudden and significant decline in performance under pressure, where an athlete fails to meet their expected standards or goals, despite having the skills and desire to perform well. This typically occurs in high-pressure situations and is often caused by heightened anxiety that leads to overthinking, impaired focus, and a deviation from instinctual, fluid movements.” AI has some more info for you: “Lamar Jackson attributed his past playoff struggles to "being too antsy" and "too excited," leading him to overthink plays rather than letting them unfold naturally. After a tough playoff loss in January 2025, he said he was too excited and saw things before they happened” Not winning Super Bowl doesn’t equate to choking.

Please respond in THIS thread as to not clutter our weekly game thread with this nonsense. Yes- This is a message board and you were kindly asked to take this Lamar vs Allen debate to another thread. This thread was then made specifically so you wouldn’t clutter our game thread. I even quoted you in THIS thread within the last hour with hopes that you would be a civil person and converse here, yet you moved the conversation back to the game thread by moving my quote. Your actions speak as if you’re 12 and are clearly trolling at this point.

Because winning a Super Bowl is a team sport and winning the Super Bowl without any semblance of a pass rush is close to impossible to do. Our pass rush has sucked during the entirety of Josh Allen’s career. Maybe he should play Edge too. Maybe you don’t understand what “choking” is. Did Josh lose the game with 13 seconds left? Or did he win the game with 13 seconds left? https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/josh-allen-and-lamar-jackson-playoff-stats other than last seasons season ending loss (when he had 2 turnovers) Lamar’s completion percentage in season ending losses reads: 48% (1 int 1 fumble lost) 52% (2 int- 1 FL) 58% (1 int) 54% (1 int 1 FL). Sorry, but your homeritis has blinded you. Can’t imagine how good the ravens would be if they had Josh Allen. You’d probably have 2 Lombardis in the last 5 season. Hard to gauge the 2 seasons the ravens didn’t make the playoffs due to Lamar not being able to play. Sorry for adding fuel to the fire- I honestly thought it was in the other thread. I moved his quotes from this thread to the other with hopes he would continue our conversation there and didn’t realize he deliberately moved it back here

This is too funny. I’m not interested enough to do some research but I’d bet that this company is owned by Jordan Palmer and Josh is doing his boy a solid doing the commercial to get him some clout. that 💯 is Jordan Palmer narrating the commercial.
-
Sorry if I offended you.

And Lamar is universally thought of as a playoff choke artist while Josh is universally thought as an all time playoff QB that plays for a team that doesn’t give him enough support that can’t beat one team- one QB- one HC.

I assume that I’m misinterpreting. I’ve never once said anything about the Carolina connection everyone else loves to talk about. I think it’s ridiculous and usually roll my eyes when other bring it up. Yes- they are They do? DOOOOOOOOMED!!
-
Either way- IMO, both of them will have their time.
-
Benford and Shakir- full practice. Keon- limited. white and Bass DNP elijah Moore didn’t practice due to personal reasons

It’s pretty crappy for those looking to find updates on this weeks game and discuss this weeks game….which is what this thread is for imo. Josh vs Lamar is worthy of its own thread. One ravens fan falling on his sword for Lamar vs the entire message board in our weekly game thread isn’t the place imo. I want info on the game, yet have to wade through page after page to find any info. I was guilty of it too, that’s why I created another thread for this. Yet he refuses to post in it with rebellious intent and everyone continues to feed the troll. And you’ll still be all upset whining and crying about it in our weekly game thread instead of a thread dedicated specifically for you so that you don’t turn this thread into something that sucks.

I think stafford does when healthy
-
They are in that same boat. And when that boat stops, it lets Josh off while Lamar stays on it. That boat is called the “SS Playoff choker”. I think he will eventually get off that boat, just as I think both will get off the zero Lombardi boat….. but until then- it’s a lonely boat ride that Lamar is on. Josh is an all time playoff performer. Lamar is not.
-
they want him for ST, not for being a S (imo) in this system. peppers isn’t good in coverage- he’s, yet another, best suited for box S. I don’t think he’d be a good fit next to either Rapp or Bishop. Not to mention character concerns. Hes not a fit imo.

Using the word “hopeless” I don’t think Benford is trending towards being out, do you? So if Benford plays and White is out will you still feel “hopeless” as you said? I too, think that the ravens have the edge and I’m not going to be (very) upset if we lose. Baltimore has a great team and we will lose a few games this season. Losing to a great team in week one doesn’t say much about our chances to win the SB.

The key to the season. Yet again The key to the season. Yet again

Week 1, Nevermores v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!
NewEra replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
57- 6 Bills. If the Bills lose you’ll be happy? Are you betting 1k on the ravens? -
Good lord- 2025: the year of the groin. What was it last season? Hammy? Let’s hope they don’t linger
-
I just saw that pop up- limited due to groin. Siiiiiiiiigh 🤦🏻♂️

Isaiah Likely to be out for the Bills Ravens game.
NewEra replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall
It would be a great thing for us if he’s out, but considering the player, I think he plays
