I’ll start the barrage- we’re set with cook. He’s going to be our best RB for the next 3 seasons. We won’t be drafting a RB in the top 3 rounds. I thought he was electric down the stretch- 5.7 ypc behind a pretty bad OL. Dean- has done nothing. You can’t really be “fair” when said player hasn’t done anything to warrant praise. Or has he? What’s he done? He should be good. I liked the player in college. He’s playing behind a monster DL with a good pass rush and is flanked by great corners. I really like what I’ve seen from Cook. Imo, the only thing that you’ll be talking about next year, when you come back to your bookmark, is his TDs. The red zone carries will likely go Allen and Harris, and rightly so.

I like Jarrett as well, but he really needs to be schemed open because he’s never going to fool anyone with the routes he runs I’ll go with Drake Taylor. LB NC St. short with short arms. I see why people don’t like him very much, but when I watch the tape- he’s a downhill demon I hope we roll the dice on him in rd 6 if he’s there.

Being obsessed doesn’t mean you are football 24/7 and can’t have a hobby and want to have a night out with the fans…. The two aren’t mutually exclusive the guy is single. No wife. No kids. No one is football 24/7- if he wasn’t trying to interact with the fans and exposing his past time on social media, he’d be doing something else in his free time and not announcing it on social media. It wouldn’t be football 24/7. That’s just not healthy for one’s mind imo.

I think he can concentrate on being the best RB he can be while having someone plan a party for him. He’s a vet RB that’s in ridiculous shape. What else can he do? Athletes need to have past times. It can’t be football 24/7 He’s not married. He doesn’t have any kids. He’s a 26 year old, single multimillionaire. He’s trying to engage with the fan base for an evening and on social media….. you think he should concentrate 24/7 on football? Cmon

It would’ve been a better use of a pick in rd 5 and could’ve turned he and Spector into the 2023 version of Milano and Vallejo. as of now, I’d have more confidence putting Spector out there than Bernard.

Defense is not irrelevant. That’s just stupid. we scored 10 points vs Cinci- was their D irrelevant? the chiefs held the jags and Cinci to 20 points in the playoffs. Defense matters- but having stars at every defensive position isn’t necessary to have a great D. A great scheme and play calling can make up for some lack of star power. I pray we draft O with our first pick along with either our 2nd or 3rd pick. but saying defense is irrelevant is just about the most ignorant thing I’ve read in awhile. And that’s saying a lot for as much as I read this board. SB losers scored: 2019- 3 2020- 20 2021- 9 2022- 20

I think USCs defense is the reason that USC any game they played last year.

He’s 6’2 But we don’t even know if we’re going to need anyone to take over next year. Poyer may return (not gtd, but he is under contract) and Hyde can be brought back. We were able to sign a decent S for 1.7M to be a backup in our scheme. I’m sure we could sign a vet for around the same next year. I don’t think drafting a S is ever needed. There are always plenty available for cheap. Free agency every single season tells us this

Any safety, DT or LB in round 1- if it’s a pass rusher - so be it…. I wouldn’t like it but it’s a premium need- unlike Mike that said- we’ll be drafting Mazi Smith- DT with .5 sacks in 30 games

I wouldn’t trade cook for Dean. I wouldn’t have last year either. One has played well in the NFL. One couldn’t even get snaps.

For sure. The role player that averaged 5.7 ypc as a rookie. Meanwhile, Dean had 2 games in which he had more than 3 snaps on D. He couldn’t get on the field. Bernard had more snaps than him. that said, I like Dean a lot more than Bernard….. but the better move would’ve been to trade up 6 spots in rd 3 as opposed to drafting him in rd 2.

Anyone scared of the dolphins drafting Devon Achane? Seems like a guy Mcdaniels/Grier would really love. He might bust, but that speed is ridiculous.
