With the 86th pick the LA Rams select Terell Smith, CB, Minnesota- Went from relative unknown to solid prospect after a great senior season. Good size and speed. Tough Vs the run. Solid all around corner. @Alphadawg7 is on the clock The Rams are done- we didn’t have much to work with after all of our trades were declined- cough- but we feel like we added 2 solid OL prospects and 2nd rd WR and good sized corner with starter upside. with the 77th pick, the LA Rams select, Cedric Tillman, WR, Tennessee the needs are great in LA- so we went with the B BPA on our board. Tillman will provide Caleb with an outside WR that will help open up the rest of the field. @Big Blitz is on the clock

Yes…. I realize this. but we took a WR. I agree, if we didn’t take WR, I’d have said Tillman or Rice.

I feel he “could be” that guy too….pretty much what I said. Diggs, brown and Beasley ahead of him, Like Diggs, Davis and Harty would be ahead of rice. He’d be competing with Shakir and Sherfield for snaps. Taking into account how McD plays his rookies you think he would get all of those WR4 reps? Idk- I think he’d get more play than Shakir did last year but I don’t think he’d be anything more than a role player. Addison would likely be our 2nd best weapon on O. Plus we now have a pass catching RB (as opposed to motor and Moss Davis’ rookie year) that would factor more into the passing game and take a few targets away from WRs. JMO. I like rice and I’d be ok with him in rd 2, but looking at the roster, I don’t think he’d get many opportunities. Not as many as I’d like out of our 2nd rd pick. I think he could be a nice WR2 after gabe walks.

You think rice, right now, is better than Gabe? I don’t think there’s any chance he starts one game over Gabe. I think Harty is is going to be a decent role in our offense and Roce wouldn’t take any snaps from him. I feel he and Sherfield would be battling for snaps. I like Rice long term. I just don’t think he would do much this year. He’d be similar to the last 2 2nd rd picks his rookie year. On the bench most of the game. what’s the problem with drafting addison AND trading up? That’s the best idea by far imo. If he’s even available

Agree with most of this, but I’d draft Johnston if he’s there based on traits. Usually not a good enough reason to do so, but this draft blows and trading down may be tough. I’d be happy with any of the top 4 WRs @ 27. I might even be ok with Hyatt and Downs. If drafting Downs @ 27 means we don’t draft a DT, LB or CB, then I’m good with it. The more I watch of Hyatt- the more I dislike him. But the speed trait would help me come around to it. The more I watch Downs, the more I love him. The only thing I don’t love is his size. If we got 8 years of a Cole Beasley 2020 play and trust (with Josh) I’d be happy with the pick. Could happen. He’s tough to cover. The more I watch Kincaid, the more I want him. I think he’d be my first choice over every pass catcher

I don’t have any tbh. Strictly as a player- Carter is the only guy. Bijan would be next, but if he’s behind a bad OL with no pass game, he’s toast too. Skoronski would be if he was a guard.

With the 69th pick the LA Rams select Andrew Vorhees, OG, USC Adding to the OL continues- we had a late 2nd rd grade on him prior to his injury and we couldn’t care less if he plays in 2023. The Rams are just trying to stack some protection for Caleb in 2024. @Motorin' is on the clock again.
