As bad as some think we played yesterday we lost by 3 and it was done a 59 yard field goal. Just think about the odds. Yes we got killed by Baltimore but we're still the best team in the division and a top 10 team in the league. Coleman and Carter look like keepers and Bishop still developing. Toss in Davis has had moments. Beane is still a top end GM.

Coming into the season I was expecting a bunch of short stuff but not sure if Samuel's injury prevented us from practicing it or what. Also Knox needs to be found more. He can be a highly effective weapon and as many have said he just disappeared this season.

We can run just not consistently as Cook can rip off runs of 5-7 yards with ease and then other attempts he just gets stuffed.

Time management was bad in that final drive but at the same time with way our line was getting blown up running it wasn't the best option. In retrospect we should have gotten Cook involved in the short passing game as could kill more clock (granted Houston may have used their timeouts to combat it) so it could have been damned if you damned if you don't. Truth is we lost more because we couldn't get it into the endzone in the drive that we tied it on and Josh and the offense doing little in the first half.

Based on the Houston game, the team can't win if Josh has a bad half.

I had a dental hygienist do a little dance for me before a cleaning to the song Let's Hear for the Boy. Granted I inadvertently responded to her online personal ad previously as of course her online profile she wasn't wearing her glasses and I didn't recognize her at first. Yet once I did we thought it be best we keep things on a professional level. Sadly she left the office I go to and no idea where she is now but it makes for a great story and memory.

This is smart plan of attack and I'd maybe only dress McManus for home games to ensure he can deal with the Winds.

Sophomore slump or because he exceeded expectations last season maybe we thought more highly of him than should. Or Morse helped him more than we saw. Either way I agree he's been a disappointment thus far.
