  1. He's got a leg but has to work on his net average. I don't mind adding him as has youth on his side unlike Sam Martin.
  2. Oh I agree, I mentioned in a pregame thread that asked if we would intentionally lose to make New England lose the top pick myself. So it's possible but you'd never get a team or coach to admit to it.
  3. The problem is nobody can truly predict how any draft will go as so many variables and tangents. I mean it safe to assume even if the Pats had pick 1 would they necessarily trade down for a team looking to nab Sanders or Cam Ward ahead of the Titans/Browns/Giants and get a boat load of picks back? Or do they keep the pick and take Travis Hunter? Heck Hunter could fall to them at #4 depending what teams ahead of them do as could be debatable who goes at #3 if the Giants stay and the top 2 QBs go 1st and 2nd. It wouldn't put it past me the Bills didn't try to win yet would think Mayo would had found ways to ensure a loss if he cared about draft position. Hard to say if he was fired because he won or because he had a horrible season?
  4. I can still see in my mind the hailmary Kordell made playing for Colorado against Michigan. So I like Kordell and know the rumor you speak of but he was limited as a passer if being honest. Much like Fields and to a certain degree Lamar and I don't think it's necessarily their faults but perhaps the coaching they got as they developed. As truth be told most athletes who get to the NFL are because they are just that great athletes and at most levels of sport if you're superior you can get by just by athleticism and some highschool and even college coaches to just rely on that and don't really teach kids how to read or diagnose plays etc. Yet eventually especially at QB you need to be more than just that to excel in the NFL. Lamar may have done it this season based on his stats being at his best yet until I see it in the playoffs then I have doubts. I don't want to make a race issue because it's not as Doug Flutie had limitations too due to his height. Heck we all sawJosh Allen had to learn to adjust his footwork to become the complete QB we see today. I mean tbh I never expected Josh to be a top 3 QB I thought the best we'd see is top 10-15 based on his first two seasons.
  5. Fields is a glorified Kordell Stewart as a QB. He might want to look into a position change or live with the fact he'll be a forever backup.
  6. Despite not getting great separation Coleman was still 4th in the entire league in YPC this season. He also had 215 YAC which put him around same range as George Pickens (Coleman had 30 less catches) and Jordan Addison (Coleman had 34 less catches). I think the key is we find ways to get him the ball in his hands. As he's clearly a playmaker if he can catch it.
  7. I'm sure an airport restaurant will be showing it. Or connect a phone to airports Wi-Fi and watch through NFL app until halftime.
  8. For what it's worth he was the 112th ranked of 141 tackles by PFF. By contrast Spencer ranked 32nd and Dion ranked 33rd.
  9. That could be a promising position if coaches think Taylor in trouble. Gotta wonder if Saleh would look taking a job there to spring board to another HC job?
  10. The only way Pittsburgh is if Russell reverts back to the way he was in November/early December. I doubt he will but who knows maybe Lamar takes a few steps down because no Flowers and of course his typical playoff meltdowns.
  11. With a 56 million cap hit I doubt it and even if do a post June 1st hit that's 28 million for two seasons. Not sure they want to do that with only $9 million in cap space now.
  12. New Orleans feels like a good spot for Brady since he did coach for LSU and the Saints toss in he could bring in Curry as his OC down in the Bayou. Now if he could move up in the draft to get a franchise QB they need is another question.
  13. At least we put in a better effort than the Chiefs.
  14. He put up better numbers than Xavier Worthy. Am I doing this right?
  15. He looked small and remember seeing him miss a tackle on Gibson early on. That said I wasn't focused on him exclusively but noticed it on that one play.
  16. I wasn't feeling well and stopped watching the game after the Patriots took a 14-7 lead.
  17. Would McDermott go after Mike McCoy again or do we roll the dice on Davis Webb? Or a former HC like McCarthey or Pederson?
  18. We have an extra 2nd in 2025 from the Diggs trade.
  19. It depends, does he cover Shakir, Cooper, Coleman or Samuel?
  20. KC has to get there too, no guaranteeing they're going to the AFCC as again eventually the law of averages is going to catch up to them and they're going to lose.
  21. Josh being QB1 and Lamar getting in as QB3 tells me where MVP voters are thinking.
  22. Javon Solomon as he could replace Von next season and want to see if he can cause QB 3-4 pressures or a sack to show he can do the job.
  23. At this point even a play is called a 3rd time I don't think it matters as regular season once end when games end so player can't be forced to active roster.
  24. Brady has called plays that Josh and teammates say they feel comfortable with. Josh had said so in almost every interview he has had when asked about him. I think times think Brady/Josh go to the well of what works to keep doing it. The key is developing plays off of those plays to allow your system to flourish. I think the offense has evolved as how many weeks did we chime in that we can't run a RB screen to save our lives and then all of sudden Ty Johnson breaks a few off. Also Samuel started looking like a weapon when he was forced to play.
