  1. You crazy? He plays solely based on he's the best athlete on the field. he's not going to be do that in the NFL. Instead you need to be able to read defenses and throw to guys as they get open. Josh Rosen the closest thing to Tom Brady in this in the draft, let's hope he falls past the Browns/Jets/Giants otherwise we need to trade both our 1sts up to get him.
  2. We don't need to double up DT so quickly we need one NT whom to me is Tyleik Williams who would start next to Oliver. Then you have DaQuan, Carter and then after Week 7 sprinkle in Ogunjobi. I could see drafting another DT prospect in Rounds 4-7 but not sooner. As we still have concerns at CB and edge rusher which to me more important than double dipping at DT.
  3. Get home from work, have a nice dinner, kick the wife out of the living room. Get an adult beverage or two and watch NFL network and yell at all the commercials and just get to the Bills pick. Oh and be on The Wall on my laptop making comments on picks and hopefully those on Twitter stop dropping picks on the board before we see them on tv.
  4. But Beane doesn't nothing to help out Josh according to some here. 🙄
  5. Some Bills fans felt Reich should have started since he lead us to wins in Houston and Pittsburgh the previous two games.
  6. I'm not that great at diagnosing plays but obviously like most players he might play to his strengths causing him to get out of position or controlled by an Olineman. He's not perfect by any means but the only recent DT I could say was is Suh and he was rare.
  7. I agree to me Nolen is the top DT in the the class and likely a top 15 pick with Harmon in the top 20-25 range. Graham is in there too but not in my viable Bills options. Williams likely falls lower since no real numbers on him but he passes the eye test when watch him. As he can hold down blockers and knows how to move down the line to bring down runners etc.
  8. Tyleik offers production and upside IMO and one of the few true NTs in this draft that has agility to get to QB too. It's why been calling for us to draft him since college season ended.
  9. I doubt he'd get moved to S but if he can play CB it would allow Cam Lewis to focus more on Safety and maybe let us add a CB in the draft to develop behind Tre/Jackson to be our new outside CB in 2025/2026. If we can get anything better than we saw from Elam in the Chefs playoff game we've gotten better. Assuming that Tre or Jackson can play as well or better than Douglas last year too.
  10. I'd assume it be based on playing time and accolades etc.
  11. Edge defender could also be in play.
  12. And maybe move Cam Lewis to backup Safety.
  13. Just Round 1 take a CB and Edge defender in Round 2.
  14. Look around the AFC not many teams have elite secondaries.
  15. This coupled with re-signing Tre could make the case for it.
  16. Edit: I reread and it's an "up to" $6.8 million as I can't see us shelling that much after his struggles the last few seasons. I'm okay with it.
  17. I'm probably in the minority but the best punter in the draft might be Eddie Czaplicki.
  18. According to https://billswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/bills/2019/07/25/2019-buffalo-bills-training-camp-roster/79485587007/ Cory Carter was also in camp. Corey B got hurt mid season which lead us to sign Colton Schmidt who later was cut for Matt Darr https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colton_Schmidt so not sure of the 3 way contest based on history unless we brought someone in training camp that I can't find in my quick search as the signing related to Carter getting cut wasn't a punter. Yet re-reading your post Kaare must be related to Kaare Vedvik who was a punter/kicker we had in camp in 2020 where Carter was here in 2017.
  19. It be great if we could move from 30 to 34 and grab a 3rd rounder in the process. Of course it all depends on how the board falls but idk the Chiefs could be in line for a DT and the Eagles seemingly always take BPA and the Browns a tough team to gauge as well. Toss in what if one of them traded down then what?
  20. I get the appeal of Thornton but if we don't shore up NT, a second CB to start along Benford than having Thornton isn't going to move the needle to get us past KC in the playoffs.
  21. Doomsday is that we drafted more than one offensive players after day 2. Also be upset if draft a Safety in first 3 picks and double dipped any position. Ideally I want to move out of Round 1 (and maybe one of our late 5ths/early 6th) and get a high 2nd and 3rd Round draft pick in a trade down. Then I'd use our day two picks on Tyleik Williams, a CB and edge rusher.
  22. He likely won't cost much and I'd at the very least bring him in to see if has anything to offer. Worst case scenario who turns into a Chase Claypool/Anquan Boldin at CB.
  23. Shows how much I care lol sorry with Sabres being well less than good I don't focus on.
  24. Until Tampa and Florida meet in the Conference finals.
  25. Actually not signing Kelly allowed us to bottom out and draft Bruce Smith a few years later. In terms of serendipitous the trade of OJ Simpson to the 49ers lead to us to taking Tom Cousineau first overall in 1979 who eventually was traded to Cleveland for 1st in 1983 lead to us drafting Jim Kelly.
