    The proper step would have been to play Cardale the last three meaningless games and see if he gives any hope. Now that, that option is gone and assuming they think he is at least two years away from even a consideration. Sign Sam Bradford or Jay Cutler draft a flyer in round 3 or 4 and roll the dice.

    This is the stupidest part of football. You practice all year plays that are designed to work in good weather and then when it really counts play in snow. No other sport leaves the outcome of a contest so dependent on the elements. Why don't they just play the NBA finals in a rain storm. Better electrify parts of the field randomly and see what happens.

    I was born and raised in Buffalo, love the city but, smart enough to relocate to sunny So. Cal as soon as I turned 17. Unfortunately I now pull for the Rams and the Bills and they both suck. At least I just watch the snow and the bad football and then go golfing (the games out here start at 10am).

    I know it is taboo these days but the Rams plan for Jim Everett back in the day was to give him a series. If it worked out give him a drive. If it worked out give him a quarter. Apparently now days that would tear a team apart, although this team already looks disjointed anyway.
