The sad thing is the receiver was open with a good throw.. but the refs hosed the Pats twice IMO this game.

Now they don’t get a turnover because “forward momentum stopped” ugh.. the refs really want the phins to win.

Hey at least your team is good, every time a big play happens for mine I am expecting the flag this year.. I’m like “ok what did they do wrong now..”

The reward is pretty much gone, all they have to do is call for a fair catch and they get the ball at the 25. So IMO the danger is the only possible outcome unless the other team isn’t smart enough to call fair catch.

IMO I rather the refs just called penalties that affect the play or with the spirit of the rule. For example the incidental Facemask to Facemask touch that happened last night isn’t called. I think more common sense and god a lot less flags need to happen. The flags ruin the flow and enjoyment of the game.

Pats win puts the Bills into first place in the division thanks to the tie breaker. Pats have a chance if they can corral Hill and Waddle.. The Big key is if they get pressure on Tua like they did Allen they may get a few more sacks and or picks.. Should be funny the thread in here with people getting mad at the Pats screwing it up. Lol

Can I just add the last 3 games the Bills should have been 3-0 and easy wins. They went 2-1 and it looked hard. As you pointed out they could easily be 0-3. Are you worried about the team when they get to the tough part of your schedule in Philly,Dallas,KC, and even Chargers?

Ok what in last nights game gave you confidence on 4th and short? Remember Dorsey is calling the play.. it be shotgun with no one in the backfield with him (more than likely) and an attempted pass play.. POSSIBLE OUTCOMES: 1. completion - game over 2. Incomplete — see my other post scenerio 3. Intercepted- and returned into Bills territory. 4. Sack inside Bills territory. the bad outcomes are just as likely to happen as the good one. The smart call is to punt. Imagine this place if they went for it and didn’t make it and LOST THE GAME because of it.

Ok let’s say they go for it. (Obviously conjecture now) they hand the ball to Cook and he is stuffed for no gain.. the Bucs get the ball at their on 48. Now let’s say they still only get 25 yards. That brings them down to the 27 yard line. Now you have a much easier pass to complete for a TD instead of a Hail Mary. With Godwin and Evans if I was a bills fan I’d be sweating that play. Now let’s take an even worse case scenario.. The Bills go for it and the run Allen. Allen makes it but hurts his shoulder more. That’s worse! The Bills O without Allen is average at best. IMO they only make it by running Allen, a smart coach knowing he is already hurting punts the dang ball and trust the D to hold for less than 30 seconds.

The face masks hit (you even said that) technically that makes it a penalty. Helmet to helmet contact will always be called especially when a QB is involved. Annoying maybe but it’s always gonna be called.

This is why analytics is stupid! It doesn’t take into account the team at hand. 1. The Bills are not a good run team and already failed on a 4th and 1 earier in the game. 2. giving the Bucs the Ball at midfield with 28 seconds left and then having 2 very good WR. Is taking an unnecessary risk. 3. As I have heard on here all week the Bills D is banged up and why take the chance of putting them in a bad position like that. Analytics May say go for it, but football common sense says you punt it.

The 4th down call may be irritating but it was TECHNICALLY the correct call. Another game with way way to many flags. Weird how the O is in Rhythm now but scored less points than last week. IMO the D played much better last night against a better O with definitely better WR.

Diggs was a wash IMO you have him or Jefferson. (Assuming the Bills would have drafted their #1 WR of course)
