Almost anything a 16 year old does short of a felony act can and should be forgiven and forgotten, as science has shown teenage brains are not fully developed and a 16 year old literally does not have the capacity to make adult decisions. They neither fully understand what they say or the consequences of their saying it. Believe me, I have two teenagers I know. Some adults are like that too, but once the brain is developed there is no longer an excuse. The guy dredging this up is either a dirt-sucking tool or yes there is an agenda to make Allen fall.

It is good that only McBean knows. That means other teams don't know. Personally I think the original plan to get their man by trading up into the top 6 was burned by the Jets, so McBean may have completely rethought their entire draft strategy. I don't see them selling the farm to move up now. More likely they will take BPA for need at 12 and 22 (possibly a QB) and if not a QB will take BQBA in 2d rd.

That would fit McBean and I like it too. They know they can win with a 2d rd QB. They went to the playoffs with TT, no star receiver, and mostly a team of second- and third-tier players. A 2d rd QB would be a step up and keeps us in the playoffs. Could even be a franchise QB. I f not McBean will patiently wait until one comes our way and in the meantime will win with BQB available.
