  1. I know many here talk about his transgressions off the field but he was a game wrecker and I believe he should be voted in. Correct.
  2. This is so beautiful. I shared with my daughter last night and we were crying like babies. It wasn’t long ago that many here were complaining about McD wanting ‘choir boys’. Well, that wasn’t the intent, THIS was. Aggressive and tenacious on the field and kind and caring off the field while also caring for your teammates. You can have it all if you get to know these young men and then bring them into the fold.
  3. For me, I think you nailed it: he’s hungry and wants to prove he can do it. To a certain degree, I believe he already has as he’s made some challenging catches in his young career. I also KNOW it’s important to let guys develop. Particularly pass catchers and QB’s. Sure, there is the occasional diamond in the rough who is stellar in year one. But Knox was NEVER a pass catcher in college. Give the kid a chance for God’s sake. I suspect, if you looked at who is saying to get rid of him on this board that they would be the EXACT same people who said to get rid of Josh: knee-jerk reaction folks (God I wanted to write ‘moron’ there...but I took the high road 😃). There are things to learn from film, including from Star Wars: most important is: “Patience, my young Padawan.”
  4. All I can tell you is from experience: went to Denver for business and the first thing that hit me was that their airport was gorgeous. Next was that I was exhausted almost immediately. At the bar on my second night it hit me: I can’t stay awake. I went to my room and slept for twelve hours. Totally crazy. Until I had cancer I was a six to seven hour a night guy. I trust the current Bills organization has this factored in to their equation. PS: Still doesn’t hold a candle to Nevada where my lips cracked wide open when I got off the aircraft. 😃 Not a desert guy evidently.
  5. I was literally going to post this morning asking where this was? 😃 I saw Pele play at Holleder Stadium in the ROC when I was a kid. The only thing I recall from it was the scissor kick in the second half. What you shared about him was interesting. Most importantly: Josh did get the first on that slide!!!!
  6. This. Although I’d put us ahead of the Saints right now, I believe they’re correct in saying the Bills are peaking at the right time. Thank God.
  7. Yes I did from someone within a corporation. As for halftime show, I did not watch it because of who it was. Ugh. I’m a rock and metal guy. Whitney was AMAZING doing the Star Spangled Banner, though. I’ll never forget it. Or the flyover.
  8. For SB XXV I paid $100/ticket to sit on the 35 yard line, lower bowl closest to the end zone where Bruce got the safety. The costs of these tickets now is just silly in my opinion.
  9. Bills are in good shape. Just take care of what we control and let all the other garbage take care of itself. This team is coming into form at the PERFECT time.
  10. This is indicative, to me, of McDermott’s philosophy: challenge players to be better via limiting their playing time...while talking positively about them personally. Harry was struggling physically at the beginning of the year and they sat him. He has responded. Levi? Same. Norman after he was body slammed? Same. Personally, I love how he’s handling this as it is creating results.
  11. Ah yes, you are correct. Funny how an old brain works. 😃
  12. Brother, talk to us after 17 years of futility! 😃 Hell, we’re good now and 75% of the people here still cry and moan about our solid players and games.
  13. They must ‘disappear’ before I see them. 😃 I’m thinking of Jimmy Spags, Bleedinggreen and Ice Bowl. They all seem to visit fairly regularly and actually positively contribute or, in the case of the former, are just funny.
  14. I don’t think I ever yelled as loud as when Joe Cribbs broke off the 80 yard TD run on the first offensive snap. Section 334 in the upper deck. So great! That’s a shame. Most other teams fan who stop in here are either fun or positively contribute to this board.
  15. Yup, my point exactly. I found it repulsive that he was willing to throw Carpenter under the bus on TV for his myriad failures as a coach. Just gross.
  16. He can come back next week. Has to miss three games.
  17. Fantastic as always! It is fantastic that the Bills are rounding in to shape in December. The D has stepped up, the O is pushing forward with a clear identity and Teams has been stellar. I also appreciate how the team rarely lets a guy go into the doghouse after a ‘miss’. Knox has had his issues but he made up for them last night. Same with Gabriel Davis. Love it. What a win!!!
  18. Dunno, but they’re all concerning...even one. As long as these guys have played, I expect that many have had a few in HS and then a few more in college and all that occur in the NFL are added on to those. Scary.
  19. I agree that the yelling is ridiculous and juvenile but, generally, he comes across to me as someone who at least knows what he’s talking about. I loved Murph, by the way. Important to remember that they’re all company men...
