  1. Was waiting for this one to show up...really an excellent movie all around, but particularly during the Christmas season.
  2. I haven't enjoyed a hockey game that much in quite a while, despite the result. If Buffalo could only have potted one or two in that great 1st period...
  3. Yup. If the Bills trade "up" in this draft I'll be surprised.
  4. Ironically, you have had the same posting inaccuracy problem your whole message board life.
  5. Actually, the only thing that matters is four more games of live action for Josh. He is growing by the week and this is a great way to build momentum into the offseason. Sure, a win in Foxboro would be great but it’s not the most crucial thing.
  6. If the Bills contain Kenyon Drake they will win this game without much difficulty.
  7. Anyone thinking Daboll is going to (or deserves to) be fired this offseason is way off the mark. Dude has been trying to make chicken salad with chicken shyte. I can't imagine how he slept at night when he knew he had to game plan around Peterman. The offense these days actually looks fun and has some speed. Can't wait to see what he does after they fix more of the offensive problems (OL) during the offseason, and as Josh gains experience.
  8. I'm worried about Kiko too...worried that he'll suffer a concussion after Josh stiff arms him to the turf.
  9. Blind allegiance to a song "just because" isn't what this country is all about. Sounds more like a dictatorship or monarchy. You'll never convince me otherwise.
  10. Busch Gardens Williamsburg is my favorite theme park, period. Great coasters and I dig the "old world Europe" vibe. Spend a full day there. Colonial 'Burg is cool too. There's a winery that does tours/tastings if you're into that.
  11. Good win Cuse! I'm really looking forward to their matchup with UB.
  12. Yep, @Mark Vader, UM took the Heels to the woodshed. I'm not all that surprised -- Roy's teams are known for not playing defense until about halfway through the season. They made a nice little run to make it closer with about 4:00 to go, but couldn't get over the hump. Michigan plays tough and if their shooting is on they are going to be very difficult to beat.
  13. I think there is a much better forum for playing the national anthem than before a freaking sporting event. But that's beside the point. Once you start deciding for someone when and where is a "better forum" for protesting, you've lost sight of what protesting is all about in the first place.
  14. Some very interesting comments from McD today about Foster. It appears he didn't really take things seriously enough early on, and it took being cut and then re-signed to clue him into how to prepare like a pro. The kid certainly has talent; he could wind up being an incredible steal and he's clearly building chemistry with Allen.
  15. Absolutely. I admittedly haven't watched Michigan play yet but I have a great deal of respect for Beilein. I went to the game last year in Chapel Hill but it was more of a scorefest. The guy for Carolina who has surprised me is Coby White (freshman PG). He is lighting it up. Really bummed this is the 9:30 game -- will crush me for work tomorrow!
  16. Thank you for your service, but man, I would love to have a cup of coffee with you and try to understand what is "disrespectful to the military" about a peaceful protest when each and every player protesting has made it clear it has nothing to do with the military. To me, it's as if you have forgotten the reason for your service (and what makes America, America) in the first place. Personally, I think you (and those who feel similarly) just don't like the reason behind the protest. If players were kneeling because they didn't like that U.S. companies were sending manufacturing jobs overseas, would you be as offended?
  17. I'm really glad they got #10 last night, because playing two of the next three @ TB and @ Nashville is a beast of a trip! Also...does anyone else think Jeanneret is trying a little too hard? The "scary good" thing at the end of last night's game felt forced.
