  1. Nah, Wade played a sport where he could use his hands. Good call though -- will be interesting to see what he learned in a year.
  2. I agree they won't go into training camp or the season with just Yeldon as a #2. I just think they can find a good RB in the 4th or later (unless one of the two studs falls to them).
  3. Except he absolutely was a workhorse back in college. If Dobbins, or god forbid Swift, fall to the Bills it would be hard to pass up but I don't think this is as urgent a need as others do.
  4. It is going to be interesting to see how the top of the 2nd round falls...man, there are some good players out there. At the end of the day I believe Beane will stay true to his evaluations and go BPA unless he sees a trade opportunity for somebody who has fallen farther than anticipated.
  5. I'll be using this thread if I don't get that email...
  6. Agreed, I just looked at the 1st round recap (didn't stay up to watch the whole thing last night) and I'd say the reach for CBs and the extra QB taken were all things Beane enjoyed watching. Tonight will be fun.
  7. That’s a bit of an overstatement. Ingram isn’t a top RB?
  8. It's somewhat satisfying and refreshing to see an "old guard" poster such as @BillsVet -- who has been one of those critics you cite -- recognize that whether they got there in the way he would have done it or not, the Bills have established themselves as one of the stronger franchises in the league. It's a good thread.
  9. I don't generally agree with Brown's takes on sports, but this was intentionally funny.
  10. My online book has the o/u on defensive players at 15.5, but the under is -185 while the over is +135. On offense the o/u is 16.5...over is -220 and under is +160.
  11. I'll be damned, you were actually almost funny.
  12. There's nothing wrong with trading up if by doing so you acquire a starter or significant contributor. Beane locked down two of the most important positions on the field (QB, MLB) with three of his trade-ups, and Ford and Knox look to be starters for a while as well. Remember for so many years how boring the Bills were on draft day? Just staying in the slot and picking. I enjoy Beane's wheeling and dealing.
  13. Ding-ding-ding, we have a winner. Never felt more confident about a Bills FO going into a draft.
  14. I'll remember Fergy for two things -- a great arm and that classic "hang dog" look after a pick. 2nd best Bills QB in their history.
  15. Jesus Christ, enough already.
  16. Like we won the mother f***ing Super Bowl. Next question.
  17. I hope for one of two things; either the Bucs completely suck, or the Bills beat them in the Super Bowl.
  18. If the rules of TSW ever include that as a requirement this will become a lonely place. I read the article and found it interesting. Then I saw posts by people who clearly didn’t even read it.
  19. Ok, you’re obviously around 15 years old. I’m done here.
  20. Your answer is the opposite of an analytical take on whether a safety should be worth more than 2 points. Your position is even mocked in the article.
  21. We hear your "GET OFF MY LAWN!" loud and clear. Some of us like to look at things a bit more analytically.
  22. The only thing I don't like is the three different shades of blue. The first four kits are awesome.
  23. That would have been more appropriate than a title presuming unsubstantiated hearsay to be true.
